I lost my cat in 2020 that I've had since I was 16, so I understand the pain you're feeling, its soul crushing. Teddy is happy, I feel that in my heart, and I've watched you since you got him, so I, myself, feel in love with that sweet puff! You need to think of the pain he was, not being able to walk or control his bladder anymore, you took away any suffering he was feeling, and yes, if love could keep him here, he'd be here forever, cause I know he was loved by sooo many people! He will NEVER be forgotten. And this is a very beautiful tribute to him. Any time you ever feel a little tingle in your heart, that's Teddy, giving you those sweet kisses. Hang in there hun, you'll learn to work around the pain, in the meantime, be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to grieve however long you need, healing isn't linear, we all heal at different speeds, but you will get there. ❤❤❤❤

It is so hard on our heart even when we know it’s the right and best decision for them. Just a tip: Put away his dishes and his bed and his toys. I have to do that for awhile after an animal passes or I would never get through it. Looking at that stuff every day just makes it harder on you. Im so so sorry for your loss, I always loved seeing Teddy in your videos. I lost my soul cat, Fluff, ten months ago to cancer, she was relatively young. I still cry to this day and I questioned my decision as well, but I know I helped take away her suffering which she did not deserve. Then five months later we had to put down my family dog, Sookie, suddenly also to cancer. She was 12. It really is heartbreaking, and if I didn't get help I really could have gone into a deep depression. Just remember all those good times and know you did make the right decision for him by taking away his suffering. Sending love and hugs your way 🖤

You did the right thing Sadie I know it's very hard bit I've been through it twice in less then a year one dog was 14.5 and she was just tired and her bladder etc started to shut down and the day I took her in she popped up and seemed the most lively she did in weeks and I doubted myself too but it wad the right thing then almost a year later our other dog had s fall and popped disc's in her spine and like teddy she couldn't move her hind end she was only 8 years old it killed us but her body started shutting down too and she was s very active dog so I couldn't put her through being in a doggie wheelchair etc so I believe you did the right thing for your fur baby

Girl I am so sorry for your loss. Just like you said I know words can’t heal the pain but just know I’m right there with you. My baby of 12 years has cancer and I’m in the same position of waiting for that “right time”. We are having to give him meds to want to eat but yet he’s still getting up and wanting to be with me and it’s like how the hell do you make the decision and know it’s right. I did that with my cat who also had cancer and like you I questioned my decision. What I have to tell myself is that the decision was out of unselfish and unconditional love because I didn’t want him to be in so much pain and suffer. My days are shorter and shorter with my dog so all I can say is I cry along with you and my soul and heart is also in so much pain. I have two kids and they have already seen me cry so many tears and I feel like I should be stronger but I wear my heart on my sleeve. I just want to hug you because I truly know the pain you are going through and I do know the pain does get better with time and you will be able to smile at the moments you shared instead of balling your eyes out when you think of them. So much love to you Sadie and your sweet Teddy. He was so blessed to have you as a mama and you gave him so much love. I had someone tell me that God makes dogs lives shorter than ours so that we can give more than one they love they deserve in our lifetime.

It gets easier with time but it’s such a terrible thing to go through. Also, if you need someone to cry with I have a video on my channel titled “life update” and it’s about my loss of my dog Luna and how I felt during that time. Really not trying to self promote at all but honestly it helped me during that time knowing I wasn’t alone when I saw other videos relating to how I felt.

I am so sorry to you and the family I know this is rough my dear. You heal at your own speed. Please, please know that you made the right decision and he is not suffering, he’s running around like a happy puppy right now. You loved him more than anybody and if you thought it was time then it was time, please don’t stress yourself thinking it wasn’t. He was such a sweet boy and that’s because you loved him so much and that’s what you have to hold onto, decisions are decisions and what Ifs are what ifs and none of that matters as long as you loved him. Just know those of us that had to make the same decision totally feel for you and we get the crying and all of it, you don’t have to say anything more. I am one of those people that if I don’t get a puppy immediately I’m pretty sure that I will die of a broken heart, it’s the only thing that helps me and myself heal. Where others need time and that’s totally OK too, so don’t feel pressure either way if anyone has given you that. I only found that out is because my kids, nobody tells you how much harder this whole ordeal is after you have kids and I am so sorry for that. My heart breaks for you and it breaks for those kids. I am sending you a huge hug honey and if you need anything please ask.
Everything you are feeling is expected and you will be ok in time but right now you just have to go through it and feel all the emotions and go through memories of Teddy and just do whatever you have to go get through each day. Sorry for your loss. I know Teddy was your world. I was never worried about you forgetting about Teddy or giving him less attention/care when you had kids of your own like I've seen a lot of women do. You were a GREAT dog mom. You did the right thing in putting him down, but I know how you feel. I chose to put my 12 year old dog down a year ago and I felt a lot of regret. Literally sick to my stomach for weeks. I still can't think about it. But how Teddy was feeling isn't a good way to live and he only would've gotten worse, probably sooner than later. It took a couple months before I got a sign from my dog after she passed her last year. She came to me in a dream. When my childhood dog passed a decade ago she also came to me in a dream about four months after she passed; in the dream she was just licking my face and it woke me up. That one was so vivid. I know animals have souls and our pets are waiting to greet us when our time comes.
My animals are my literal children. I’ve only had to put one down and it was the hardest decision ever, but seeing how much you loved and cared for Teddy I can tell you that you made the right choice. You knew him the best out of everyone and something told you it was time. You gave him the best life!

I have regrets also about my babies but my fur baby passed in my home and I whispered in her ear it's ok to go and she went. You did the right thing if his body was failing him. I'm sure the vet talked to you about his health and quality of his life. If is back legs weren't working it could have gotten worse. Sadie no regrets he's running and happy and wouldn't want you to be sad.

I had put my chihuahua of 16 years down in April...and the heart pain is real. Never felt it before & I couldn't stop crying each day either. It gets easier each day but keep yourself strong. I'm so sorry about Teddy. My sister is going through the same thing right now with her dog she got him 13 years ago. His back legs aren't working and she has to carry him around and he has trouble going to the restroom too. I get scared that one day soon she will have to let him go too. 💙

Sadie, you made the right decision. That was no life to live and you saved him from his misery. My childhood cat we planned to put down because he had cancer and was having seizers all the time. The morning we were supposed to take him in to put him down he died on our couch when we all woke up. It was absolutely awful. He died a year after my grandfather died of cancer and I was young. It was so incredibly hard. My dad made him a little casket and we buried him in the back yard. The choice to put down a pet is probably one of the worst decisions a human will have to make. I'm dreading the day my two dogs get old. Please don't be hard on yourself you did the right thing. He is no longer suffering. Praying for you ❣️

Girl I am so sorry for your loss. Just like you said I know words can’t heal the pain but just know I’m right there with you. My baby of 12 years has cancer and I’m in the same position of waiting for that “right time”. We are having to give him meds to want to eat but yet he’s still getting up and wanting to be with me and it’s like how the hell do you make the decision and know it’s right. I did that with my cat who also had cancer and like you I questioned my decision. What I have to tell myself is that the decision was out of unselfish and unconditional love because I didn’t want him to be in so much pain and suffer. My days are shorter and shorter with my dog so all I can say is I cry along with you and my soul and heart is also in so much pain. I have two kids and they have already seen me cry so many tears and I feel like I should be stronger but I wear my heart on my sleeve. I just want to hug you because I truly know the pain you are going through and I do know the pain does get better with time and you will be able to smile at the moments you shared instead of balling your eyes out when you think of them. So much love to you Sadie and your sweet Teddy. He was so blessed to have you as a mama and you gave him so much love. I had someone tell me that God makes dogs lives shorter than ours so that we can give more than one they love they deserve in our lifetime.

I didn’t get a sign until the year anniversary of her passing.. I am so so sorry for your loss. Teddy was your soul dog and forever will be. I lost my soul dog when she was only 5 years old 8 months ago and I still cry to this very day. It gets easier with time but it’s such a terrible thing to go through. I felt the same way for a while if I did the right thing and I still think that way sometimes but I know she’s no longer in pain. Sending you so much love through this hard time. Give yourself grace because it’s not easy ❤

Also, if you need someone to cry with I have a video on my channel titled “life update” and it’s about my loss of my dog Luna and how I felt during that time. Really not trying to self promote at all but honestly it helped me during that time knowing I wasn’t alone when I saw other videos relating to how I felt.

I am so sorry to you and the family I know this is rough my dear. You heal at your own speed. Please, please know that you made the right decision and he is not suffering, he’s running around like a happy puppy right now. You loved him more than anybody and if you thought it was time then it was time, please don’t stress yourself thinking it wasn’t. He was such a sweet boy and that’s because you loved him so much and that’s what you have to hold onto, decisions are decisions and what Ifs are what ifs and none of that matters as long as you loved him. Just know those of us that had to make the same decision totally feel for you and we get the crying and all of it, you don’t have to say anything more.
I am one of those people that if I don’t get a puppy immediately I’m pretty sure that I will die of a broken heart, it’s the only thing that helps me and myself heal. Where others need time and that’s totally OK too, so don’t feel pressure either way if anyone has given you that. I only found that out is because my kids, nobody tells you how much harder this whole ordeal is after you have kids and I am so sorry for that. My heart breaks for you and it breaks for those kids. I am sending you a huge hug honey and if you need anything please ask.
Everything you are feeling is expected and you will be ok in time but right now you just have to go through it and feel all the emotions and go through memories of Teddy and just do whatever you have to go get through each day. I bet Teddy is up there running around like crazy chasing balls and stock piling socks and those adorable little legs of his are working like brand new ❤❤ Hang in there girly. Sorry for your loss. I know Teddy was your world. I was never worried about you forgetting about Teddy or giving him less attention/care when you had kids of your own like I've seen a lot of women do. You were a GREAT dog mom. You did the right thing in putting him down, but I know how you feel. I chose to put my 12 year old dog down a year ago and I felt a lot of regret. Literally sick to my stomach for weeks. I still can't think about it. But how Teddy was feeling isn't a good way to live and he only would've gotten worse, probably sooner than later. It took a couple months before I got a sign from my dog after she passed her last year. She came to me in a dream. When my childhood dog passed a decade ago she also came to me in a dream about four months after she passed; in the dream she was just licking my face and it woke me up. That one was so vivid. I know animals have souls and our pets are waiting to greet us when our time comes.
My animals are my literal children. I’ve only had to put one down and it was the hardest decision ever, but seeing how much you loved and cared for Teddy I can tell you that you made the right choice. You knew him the best out of everyone and something told you it was time. You gave him the best life!

I have regrets also about my babies but my fur baby passed in my home and I whispered in her ear it's ok to go and she went. You did the right thing if his body was failing him. I'm sure the vet talked to you about his health and quality of his life. If is back legs weren't working it could have gotten worse. Sadie no regrets he's running and happy and wouldn't want you to be sad.
Sadie I have been watching your channel since you lived with your parents with Sassy & then you got Teddy. I feel your pain & I'm so so sorry for your loss 💔😢. I had put my chihuahua of 16 years down in April...and the heart pain is real. Never felt it before & I couldn't stop crying each day either. It gets easier each day but keep yourself strong. It's not selfish, cherish the memories you had with him.

I'm so sorry about Teddy. My sister is going through the same thing right now with her dog she got him 13 years ago. His back legs aren't working and she has to carry him around and he has trouble going to the restroom too. I get scared that one day soon she will have to let him go too.

Sadie, you made the right decision. That was no life to live and you saved him from his misery. My childhood cat we planned to put down because he had cancer and was having seizers all the time. The morning we were supposed to take him in to put him down he died on our couch when we all woke up. It was absolutely awful. He died a year after my grandfather died of cancer and I was young. It was so incredibly hard. My dad made him a little casket and we buried him in the back yard. The choice to put down a pet is probably one of the worst decisions a human will have to make. I'm dreading the day my two dogs get old. Please don't be hard on yourself you did the right thing. He is no longer suffering. Praying for you ❣️
