    The tips of his gloves arent actually his fingers, in the show theyre like a mustard colour, but he does have fully covered bulky gloves.

    • @brettonfett
      @brettonfett  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yep, you’re right, I never noticed that the finger tips are still part of his gloves. At first glance they look like his fingers to me because they are kind of a tan/orange color. The paint on the figure is still off because it’s more of a dark brown. Thanks for watching!

    It's pretty crazy how much this figure has risen in value. Just because of that booster and cloth cape I had to order it for $10 over the price out of box on a third party seller.

    apparently the holes in the thrusters in the jetpack work where you can use the fire from Boba's jetpack and add it into Mandos jetpack

    I think the Mines of Mandalore figure has a plastic cape. I’m perplexed as to why that figure did not include the jetpack because Mando used the jetpack extensively in that episode. He only took it off right before he got in the water and sank like a stone.

    • @brettonfett
      @brettonfett  9 месяцев назад +2

      I guess I missed that the cape is plastic on the Mines of Mandalore version, wow, even more reason not to buy that one. Yeah very dumb to leave out the jet pack. I guess they are counting on completionists to all buy that one. Hard pass for me. Thanks for watching!

    • @IamIzayis
      @IamIzayis 9 месяцев назад +1

      It’s all a cash grab, plastic cape for one.. cloth cape for the other… jet pack for one.. no jet pack for the other… he mentioned the reasoning for why they didn’t do a removable helmet for this one…? Definitely nothing to do with that he took it off or not in the episode.. more than likely they’ll do to later like they did with previous figures.. we’re all getting this one because it’s the new cool shiny toy.. seems I’m kinda bashing I’m not.. got this figure soon as I could before it sold out on BBTS.. expecting it next week.. but hasbro gonna hasbro.. they’ll have a bunch of repaints/redecos… here’s hoping we see the original suit updated, that was my favorite version of Din.. the more worn one

    • @brettonfett
      @brettonfett  9 месяцев назад

      @@IamIzayis yeah I can’t say I disagree with any of your points. I too prefer the non-Beskar Mando look and would buy that updated version when it inevitably comes out. Thanks for watching!

  • @Coldduck1988

    There is actually a face under the helmet of the new mando, but for some reason they made it so the helmet is not removable.

    • @brettonfett
      @brettonfett  9 месяцев назад

      Weird, yeah they’ve done that before like with the 2D Clone Wars Capt Fordo figure I think. In this case if there is a face mold it is painted black since you can under the helmet it’s black.

    We haven’t got him in the uk yet, but I’ve got one on the old preorder. I gave my nephew my old one and he Loves it so that worked out well, it’s mad how many variations have been made now and the fact there is another repack but with no jet pack? And looks like a plastic cape too? Very weird. Cool vid as always Brett dude.

    • @brettonfett

    Good grief, I knew there were a lot of 6” The Mandalorian figures, but until you went through all of them like that I was blissfully ignorant. And what’s even more scary, or sad, is I have every single one of them. And adding further insult, I just ordered this Glavis Ringworld version from Pulse just yesterday…🤦🏻‍♂️. And we thought the Boba Fett tax back in 2021/2022 was bad. All that aside, this new version does look to have some really nice improvements. I guess we can consider this one definitive, or close to it. The soft goods cape is a huge improvement. Great review! And oh, I’m a new subscriber finding your channel just last night. Looking forward to going through your library content. 😁

      Awesome, thanks so much for the sub man! Hope you enjoy my videos. Yeah it's tough shelling out so much money over the years on these figures but I would say that you are right that this is probably the definitive Mando figure and worth picking up, just don't get that Mines of Mandalore one (unless you are a die-hard completionist), lol.

    Aside from the Mines of Mandalore Mandalorian not having the Jetpack, He also doesn't have the Softgoods Cape that this Glavis Ringworld Version has. Instead, the Mines of Mandalore Version reverts back to the Rubber Cape from Previous releases.
