Somehow, I only JUST saw the Gansai Tambi pearlescents! How come I've never heard of them before this video?! I am sooooo happy I decided to watch this. Thank you!
My only complaint about this video is that it's not long enough!!! Thank you for all that you do for us crafters! You make sure that we don't hop on to every bandwagon and you teach us how to stretch what we already have. I can't say thank you enough!
Cheers Jennifer for another great informative Favorite Things video! No apologies necessary hon, because we KNOW you always give the best tips, tricks and info!
Excellent timing!!! I just received my Zig markers this week and have been playing with them to get the feel of how they work with water. This is my first set of watercolor brush markers, but I'm really loving them and would recommend them as well. I was thinking I'd need to make some sort of chart to identify the colors as the end cap colors aren't exact - you did this!! Thank you so much, Jennifer. I look forward to your videos throughout the year, but really appreciate your year end favorites.
Thanks for all the information on the options for coloring. I have my list of products I thought I would like, but now I have made up my mind. Love your videos.
Love to color and I agree with all of your favorites! I LOVE the Zig's and also still LOVE and use my Copics all the time! Watercoloring is new to me this year, but I am loving it! :)
Oh wow, I am really loving these videos, thank you so much for sharing all of this info, I love to craft, but never know what to buy, and end up not buying anything because I just don't know what to do with them, so this is great, thank you so much xx
Thanks Jennifer for all this wonderful information! I have to say I didn't really fall in love with my Zig pens until I tried them with the Bristol paper recently. I wish it was a brighter white, but I love the smooth texture! I have also purchased a big set of the dove blender pens to use with them that I completely forgot about so thanks for the reminder. Love "controlled" coloring. ;) Watercoloring can scare me, but I think I'd like to try the peerless watercolors next. :)
Thanks for the info about the Zig real brush pens. They're getting rave reviews from everyone. Will have to try them. This whole series of My Favorite Crafty Things has been really helpful in looking at what we have and what we'd like to add to our "must have" list. THANKS! Looking forward to more inspiration in 2016.
Thank you for the video Jennifer - very useful as always. Appreciate the effort that has gone into this. So many of these products still on my list to try out so thank you for the reminder of what they do :)
Why do you think this is the "only one other marker that is similar?" There are tons of brush makers that are water based on the market.. kurtake fude's for example.. or brilliant brush markers.... Dick Blick for the best prices folks... save at least 25% per marker... enjoy!
Thanks for the video! I myself am using the Faber-Castell PITT artist pens. They contain india ink and work (blend) great on Canson Illustration paper or even Neenah solar white. I prefer those over copics, because they are much cheaper, great quality and give great results :) Maybe they will make it in one of your reviews some time ;)

I like Memento ink in general, forgot to tell you in the previous post.
U are really my favorite ...thank u for sharing😀
Thanks for all the info. Other than having a real brush tip, how are the Zig pens different from the Tim Holtz distress pens?
+Lynda K very different. the tip of the zig is a brush
New to paint, etc. What was the binder you had that had watercolors on each page to use in projects?
Great info! Thanks
what is the water brush you are using in the end the one with a yellow handle. thanks

+pesto12601 But do they have real brushes? Some are called brush markers, but they don't have flexible bristles like the Zig ones.
The fude's are real brush as well.. Akashiya Sai are high quality plastic bristles... Bienfang - the same. Enjoy!
Thank you :-)

+TheNilje i have them but found my tips didn't last. glad you like them! always good to find something that works for you!
you can pull them out, turn them around and put them back in. That way they last longer ;)
The ink swatch download link from your website says "page not found". I'd love to download this document if you still have it. Thank you !!!
+Suzy Whitten hmmmm... try this: www.jennifermcguireink.com/images/2015/05/Real-Color-Print.pdf
The link worked just fine. Thanks, Jennifer!
