    Thank you for your tip. I have two brand new feeders in my garage I am fixing to set. I will be sure to pack them with grease to prevent those problems from occurring. I apprecoate your recommendation.

      I appreciate the comment. I had mine for about 3 years until it got destroyed by something. I’m assuming a deer was under it when it kicked on and it spooked it. It broke all the legs and the barrel.

    I have one of these feeders. Only problem i had was the original motar burn out after 3 months of use contacted the company wanted to charge me 50 bucks to replace it and make me pay shipping told them no so went to Walmart bought a new mortar and bottom set up installed it now 3 years no problems. Beisde them not honoring they 1 year warranty for a motar come to find out was messed up from factory not big fan of them for that but now feeder works and still flinging corn . Have to say the 5 gallon bucket feeds from moultrie work and haven't had any problems out of them so i highly recommend them over this feeder cheaper and also allows you to get 2 hanging feeders for the same price of this feeder and there customer support is top notch especially if you have ?'s about they products

      As you already know they are not the most expensive model out there and if you do a review search on them, there's is some negativity. However, we have 2 of them and as long as you set them up like this, you shouldn't have any issues. Ours have been running for 2 years flawlessly.

      My Dad has these on all four of his feeders. He's been running all these for over two years with no issues. I'm headed to the ranch now. Thanks again.

    The only issue i came across was using the analog control unit. The control unit is incredibly easy to use but the feeding dispenser has one speed, ultra fast. I just purchased a new control unit that has different settings so I can now adjust it.

    Hi I'm using a deer feeder for the first time it's the wildgame model #T6DC I can set it for 5,10,15 or 20 seconds. My question is how many pounds of corn will it throw for these time periods. Thanks

    I would recommend giving these to a friend and getting a good gravity feeder ;) I’ve experienced it spook mature bucks as well. My friend says his sounds like a dinner bell in his area.

    Suggestions use a 55gal. Drum feeder, also water will drip off plus it's heaver and won't blow over then you can put THE FEED SAVER inside of it . It is made of polyurethane a wonderful Inner liner with it's own overlapping lid, Condicated water will drip off of it. Suggestion dill five holes at the bottom of the drum so any will drip out. Then insert the feed saver And then you can also use all the different types of feed even proteins and have a better control of your feed and make a greater animal on timely manner. Watch our video so cool

    We have a wildgame innovations feeder and we’ve tried TWO new 6V batteries and the feeder won’t come on, there is a 6V solar panel on the feeder as well but the feeder doesn’t work. The fuse is good and I’m out of ideas of what could be wrong.

    I mixed some sweet feed with corn. Big mistake as the sweet feed takes on condensation and jams up. Use dry corn only

    How many days does this last you on the setting you mentioned. I have a ton of deer to feed and I have to drive an hour 1 way to check it. A give or take couple weeks to a month would be awesome to find. Out. This is my first feeder so I haven't the slightest idea.

    Would you recommend this for my first deer feeder?

    • @outdoorohiomike
      @outdoorohiomike  8 лет назад +1

      Well, it really depends. Mine lasted me 4 years until something knocked it over and destroyed it. If your finances allows you to get a better one that's what I would do. However these are not bad for the money.

    I have found success using powder graphite, spray silicone, or dry lubes instead of grease and wd-40. none of the products collect dust but lubricate as well as greasy or oil based lubes.

    Do the raccoons eat most of your corn ?

  • @tylerrsmith443
    @tylerrsmith443 5 лет назад +2

    40 sec feed? Are you a corn baron? That would eat through that barrel real quick. I'm more of a give em a taste and come back mentality, especially since we have hogs.

    YOU AINT GOT TO MEASURE SHIT, JUST LAY A BUBBLE LEVEL ON TOP OF THE CONTROL BOX . IN FACT INSTALL A PERMANENT BUBBLE LEVEL ON THE BOX .
