Hey Jeff! I was looking into this board and I really wanna buy it, but I don’t know if the rocker is a problem on steep drops and rip turns. Does the board preform like a shorty?
Yea I'd call it a Hybrid shortboard....a bit fatter, shorter & flatter than your standard HPSB. It carries speed really well in slow conditions...but if you're good enough to be doing critical turns and getting vertical (which I'm not) then it may not be quite what you're looking for. It's a blast for 90% of what I surf around SoCal though!

How do you recommend sizing for this board? I’m looking for a good sort of daily driver surfboard for so cal. I weight 142 pounds and am 5’4” I’ve been looking at a 5’8” 29 l board.
