I agree the game is tough, but the game has always been pretty tough. You don’t get used to the movement & strategy right away. & like Aculite says it always takes some getting used to when your coming back from another game. But PUBG has always been this way. My best advice to new players is to never give up, cause when you start doing good it’s pretty rewarding

A long-time friend of mine told me about this game, as I never really got into it as I am a CoD and Forza player, but over the past 3 weeks or so, I've been playing it nonstop. The first few days I was learning how the game worked and how people play, and tbh, I am loving this game! It's so easy and fun to play that I should of got started sooner rather than later.
I never really got used to the controls on console but it's funny because I was mainly a Forza and cod player like 4 years ago or so and I started to play on pubg mobile lmao, now THAT was easy and very fun to play for me

I came back to PUBG recently and after slogging through most of the bot lobbies, the dudes who play this game religiously can be freakin' terrifying. Had a game where I was fighting someone across the street in the house and after like 3 seconds of holding him with a sniper after I dinged him with an AR, he just pixel leaned and BAPPED me with an AWM. My response was just, "Well damn." Like one of them Shroud leans, its great but hard to play this game. Its fun :D
Gone are the days of 2017 when this game was new and you could get wins as a half decent player. Basically everyone who plays this game currently has like 3000 hours. I miss those days. Casual playing with friends is just overall more fun.
I don't mind the idea of the delay, its like a punishment for getting yourself killed and your teammate can use the time to find you some gear. It's just a little too punishing for the surviving teammates imo. The chip thing needs to change, at least make it so only the teammates can pick it up or it pings on the map and marks enemy carriers or something. It should be a challenge to revive to some extent but as it is, it a seems too high risk in a lot of scenarios.
I dont get why they don't drop the ego and just do it like apex. They screwed up being this late to the party they should have the decency to just own it and stop trying to do their own thing on something they clearly dont understand. Do it like apex and shut up pubg.

If they are making the chip this precious, then the enemy team that takes the chip is marked on the map and becomes the bounty. And the one who has the chip is marked specifically. Or simply change the whole thing as it's too complicated for normal mode. Just make the chip a lootable item found in the world.

I totally get where you're coming from. I played pubg back when it came out watching your videos, then off and on throughout the years but only recently have my friends been playing in earnest, so I came back yet again, but boy has it been rough reacclimating to it all. Lately my vice has been the Intense Battle Royale game mode which has been a breath of fresh air when we can't get any good games in, though it is unfortunately only out for about another 16 days or so. I hope you see this comment so that maybe you and potentially the others can get a couple of games in it too.

Me and my wife play duos everynight since 2018 and we still get destroyed every other game. We average around 10 to 15 wins a season. We usually go for high kill games vs just camping it out so we feel your pain
At this point, this game is slowly becoming from a slow paced to a fast paced game, which is what a lot of players want. This is the same for New State Mobile(by Krafton) where many players quit after the game first came out. Updates kept coming in making it more reasonable to play again, and overall, it became a fast paced game.

I think a good update would be to allow anyone to still pickup a person's "chip" but if an enemy loads it, it locates that person on map at all times or something for the squad. So the squad can still bring their player back easier.

I got temporarily banned in my 2nd account (Steam, main account was Epic), and since it is temporarily they said why: hacks/cheats. So, my conclusion is that SoundLock is now forbidden. PUBG could definetively be better at communicating changes like this, and not having us discovering them in the worst way possible.
I'm not the greatest PUBG player by far, but the skill gaps are crazy. Trying to get new players in the game is nearly impossible. Even the casual mode has sweats in it (probably to boost their stats), PUBG is bleeding players bad.
Skill gap is way to high in PUBG. I know that SBMM is not possible but said that, PUBG really needs some kind of SBMM. A less aggressive SBMM could be a thing.

Yeah sometimes you can have these streaks in this game . But other times you can breeze through on lucky sutuations as well. High variance game

Your aim gives you a big boost in the easy department. Once you get familiar with the maps again, the placement, positioning, and timing will come.
