All DoF on mft is 2x full frame equivalent: so mft T2 DoF is equivalent to T4 DoF on ff. However the light let in on T2 on both ff and mft is equivalent; only the depth of field changes. So yes, ff T2 will have more toneh. I shoot mft and with the right lenses, I get plenty of toneh
Interesting. Many say the total amount of light captured is halved.. I thought the amount of light per squaremillimeter may be comparable, while the absolute amount of captured light of ff is 2x of m43. Also why a 12MP ff should be better for low light compared to a 12MP m43.

On my Fuji xt4, I just moved the white balance point one dot towards green to remove any tint. I guess some day I’ll get a color chart and do it proper. But the quick way is what I already did. Oh, and your Sony is way too green, IMO.
I rarely go that wide open unless it's a must because of light. The real difference is quality. @@cameraconspiracies Yeah Julian is the reference for sure, and I know we're talking dB logarithmic scale but MOTU is -129dB while the M-AUDIO is -131dB, it's not a huge difference, SPECIALLY on those levels which are already very faint. Just like ISO man, some noise is fine, and if you really hate preamp noise, just pass a simple noise filter, OBS RNNoise is awesome, NVIDIA Broadcast is unironically magical, but then it gets eerily quiet IMHO. And to drive my point home, the microphone self noise is usually MUCH, MUCH higher than ~-129dB. So when you crank up the gain, hear noise and think "wow, piece of shit interface", no, it's 99% likely it's just the microphone self noise being amplified by the additional gain, not the preamp noise itself. I'd argue as an overall package the lower end Motus are better, especially if you went for the ultralight mk5, but thats probably overkill for your needs. Personally I think you and all RUclipsrs should be using lav mics rather than having a microphone + stand in the shot, I think it's annoying and unprofessional, why do we want to see that? I don't think you can colour grade once and then apply it as a lut to everything. Different videos will have different colour casts depending on the lighting, the WB and the lens. You can use presets as a starting point but you always have to tweak them. The only time you get away with presets alone is with fixed studio lighting and locked WB.
@@cameraconspiracies Yeah, ok. I'm a bit fussy so I make a colour correction lut for each camera body and each lens, then I use a grey card and tweak the settings individually. I have yet to receive a medal for it.

If you want better conversion the SSL2 is better for that, but Audient has sligthly better preamp, wad did you get ? Also I got a lot of theses eyelid problem you got to sleep well, take really hot shower and it gonna go fast, drinking water also
If you bump up your interface budget you could grab a UAD Volt 276 for clean pres and nice headphone amp.
Every camera becomes the perfect camera when you embrace imperfection!
I also have the mom's folder but that's a completely different story
Need Super Slo Mo and a slo mo buffer, like Sony had in their camcorders, years ago.
Try RME audio products they are one of the best in the industry.
7:43 I'm going to put a screenshot of this on Flickr and get a million faves >:D
Is that a linen shirt? 🤔
Best lens for magic Nikon 200mm f2. But it's so dang heavy I barley use it . Just too heavy
is this microphone closer to what you sound in real life?
Gave you a like for the title alone! I watched though I swear
Check out the MOTU M2 or M4 audio interfaces - quiet preamps and separate headphone volume controls.
I second the Motu M2, not too much more expensive and has been flawlessly working for me for years without any glitches or issues
I also suffer from disappearing videos syndrome. It may be caused by bit rot
There's no consumer interface better than the MOTU M2 or M4 :) US company, sometimes made in USA, incredible headphone and mic amp, and sick sabre ADC and DAC. Also literally the best knobs in the bizz, knurled metal, so good
Motu has worse preamps than my dead Audient ID 14 lol. I'm not downgrading.
@@cameraconspiracies Odd, it goes against all measurements I've seen so far.
@@AstuteJoe What measurements? Give me some data that you've seen. I'm going off of Julian Kraus' tests ruclips.net/video/O_L86wNbzi0/видео.html
From the main himself, highly suggest peeping:

Also, get some nice ass XLR cables, helps tons if you're using shitty ones currently
@@cameraconspiracies Years ago I think Sound on Sound or some other pro audio publication did a blind preamp listening test for people to vote on and a cheap ass Mackie mixer consistently scored above higher end mic pres. Don't be blinded by fancy measurements and numbers that will net you nothing tangible in the real world, especially to buy an M-Audio interface. Lav or boom out of shot, no one needs to see a blue yeti or shure sm7b pointed at your face....rant over.
Btw I think you've gotten the best looking footage lately out of the Sony and the GoPro.
You really had no pants on :D
I don't think you can colour grade once and then apply it as a lut to everything. Different videos will have different colour casts depending on the lighting, the WB and the lens. You can use presets as a starting point but you always have to tweak them. The only time you get away with presets alone is with fixed studio lighting and locked WB.
Obviously you have to make minor tweaks... But the colour correction part remains the same, Sony oversaturating reds, blues being cyan etc.
@@cameraconspiracies Yeah, ok. I'm a bit fussy so I make a colour correction lut for each camera body and each lens, then I use a grey card and tweak the settings individually. I have yet to receive a medal for it.
I need Bigfoot's color grading course, so I might get the Zeiss 55. I don't think I'll be very keen on the A7SIII though, I've already got one. I poke around in Resolve with that and my other cameras but I need to learn something because I can make anyone look like Miss Piggy. Of interest, I tried a manual lens autofocus adapter on a Nikon with a vintage Meyer Optik Gorlitz lens. It sort of works. I'll leave a link for that and the miss Piggy skin tones, but hey could you could please recommend a color grading course? Bigfoot or otherwise.

Believe me. When you compared the results, Lut vs Colour corrected 9:00 , i immediately thought the same conclusion as you saiid at 9:13 "or you Just go for like a Canon camera".
I’m wondering if the Canadian government did something to the environment to attack the skin. Both you and Mark Bennett are having major skin reactions this summer.
That's a very good question. Some have claimed that the plastics from buildings that burned in the wildfires were responsible for the weird chemical smells. The smoke could also have been a perfect cover to dispense other chemicals. One thing's for sure it's vitally important to stay healthy, and keep detoxing the body.
Get the Motu M4
Red, I know you’re watching, please send Kacey a Komodo so he can find the flaws. We need to know you’re not perfect.
How you doing Kasey.
Phantom luts is the only correct answer.
Only if Zeiss decide to make a wildlife lens. That is the only time Leica would be challenged.
Back before I became a geezer Fuji film was always a bit magenta. Maybe it’s cultural.
Get an apogee audio interface and love your life
Loved the blue and red hair 😂
best video camera - OG Blackmagic, so what's the best Photo camera.
How do I stop myself from wanting the S5iix because it is blacked out?
I archive my files with a bald Star Trek character actor that saves it all in a space/time continuum on a planet at the end of time.
Summery; (SONY should create an extention unit for Sony A 7S iii) hey bro, I am a huge fan of you, love your take on speaking to your audience, I am not a good fan, because I don't even know your name and never have I tried to find out and still will not ask, because your content is f******ing amazing and entertaining. I have a question for a7siii owners. Wouldn't be nice if sony could develop an extention box that would fit the back of the a7siii and make it look cool with additional functions like recording pro ress from the 16 bit RAW output they have and they can ad a v-mount to the back of it, just like the extention unit for the FX 9 (Sony XDCA-FX9 Extension Unit for PXW-FX9) YAYYYYY ask them for it, they would listen to you.......you f******ing alien.
If I were you I wouldn't have the backup drives permanantly attached to the computer, or have a cloud solution like google drive. If your pc happen to be hacked (eg. data hostage) you'd be screwed.
Scarlet 2i2
Noisy lav mic hurts the brain a tat bit. Buy a Universal Audio and be done for the next ten years. Bit boring maybe but better for our ears.
Admit, there at 12:25 comes the best question you've ever got. But you wouldn't be as genial as you are had you not used it the way you did... to your advantage. Excellent!
P. S. Please do not sell your Pana Leica 200 mm prime, you'll be sorry. Besides, you won't be able to show us the full potential of MFT-bodies to come your way.
However, I'll only buy the 50-200 mm Leica for me. For more general usage, it's far more universal and applicable. If I was only into wildlife I would of course go with the 200 mm prime instead. In theory... In reality, it costs so much that only Russian oligarchs can buy it.
Ralph CC Lauren
Yeah the Leica 200mm is so good that you want to sell it ;) Jokes aside, it is probably the best telephoto lens for m43, apart from the 150-400 pro zoom from Olympus but that one costs 7000$.
We got free feet to see today POG
sorry, I couldn't pay attention. I just kept staring at your glasses once I realized you weren't wearing pants..
Get another XT4, I know you want to.
The X-S20 is better
Buy a GD Steinberg/yamaha or focusrite audio interface. Just sayin
Your eye problems most definitely come from getting you face smashed by the Canon cripple hammer.
Raid stack is called a NAS.
did you know that the X3000 was the perfect camera when you first bought it ?
Rodecaster pro 2. Youre welcome
The Perfect Camera... we're all looking for it
Everyone is thinking to a different tool/price but ok, we're all in a quest.
my Perfect camera idea was a EOS RP-pricetag-camera but delivering Fullframe & 4k60fps with a small crop like 1.3, with a dynamic range which is not constantly burning the clouds.
After watching CC now I am not sure, I want more!
@@jimthrowaway I think CC is the Casey's best channel. Even because the Camera brands are doing so bad in the low to mid part of the market that there's a lot to rant&parody about.
It's 2023 and Canon didn't released a EOS RP mkII but instead a lot of APS-C crippled cameras
Get MOTU man.
It.used to be 10,.you getting lazy
SSD, from my understanding, doesn't last anywhere near as long as a HDD.
