This is a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like making shows right now while in quarantine! During the months of November and December, we had 2 huge projects: Wow Signal and VHS Christmas Carol!

Seriously, I LOVE this album so much. Clark made a masterpiece!!! And the project as a whole was SO FUN and SO SILLY even with technical difficulties. I love my friends and they're the most talented people in the world!! This BTS is just from Brian and my perspective, but remember, there were 12 other cast members doing almost all of the same stuff as us in this video, and Corey was of course doing it ALL!! So it's a limited BTS for sure. I wish we could have all been together!!

as a stage manager, i was so curious about the technical aspects of running vhscc, so this was a really cool video to watch! shoutout to obs and all its magical powers, but more importantly to corey and brian and the entire team for all of their hard work!
Aw, Meredith, my heart hurt every time you said “if there’s a technical problem.” And then you crying made ME cry! BUT! The show turned out AMAZING! I saw two of the livestream shows and I bought the digital ticket so I can watch it a few more times! Plus, I bought the album, which is so so so good and the songs are still constantly stuck in my head! All of you did such an incredible job and worked so hard! ❤️ AND I DIDN’T REALIZE YOU WERE ALL OF THE ALIENS IN WOW! SIGNAL!!! 🤯🤯🤯

All of the talent in this project is incredible, but holy cow, the editors deserve some kind of award for not only how beautiful it turned out, but how seamless. It was easy to forget that this was filmed in separate rooms and even in separate parts of the country because it came together so well! The behind the scenes look makes it all the more incredible!
Incredible. Never the same. Three Spirits is a bop. Tell Brian my sister loved the little coughs (even though that will probably mean nothing to him because he does not know me or my sister). In any case, iconic.
VHSCC was absolutely incredible, and seeing the amount of work and difficulty that went into it just makes me appreciate it even more! Thank you for creating one of the biggest blessings of the year.
Is it weird to just. listen to yourself sing? I’d get so tripped out by that and this is a wonderful video I love seeing behind the scenes

Okay but I'd like to say Tiny Tim was worth shaving the mustache for in the end. My mom and I got such a kick out of him and that whole scene. Hope Brian can grow the mustache back in though. Great work everyone. So much went into making it and its so fantastic!

VHS Christmas Carol was amazing! I was supposed to watch the first show, but then the technical difficulties stopped that. But I watched the second one, and it truly was amazing!
Wow, seeing all the struggles you had and all the work you put in makes me appreciate it even more! But it wouldn't really be a Starkid show without some last minute scrambling and trying to finish everything just before show time 😄

I don't think there's enough comments about Wow! Signal honestly. I really enjoyed watching the premiere and the chat was a bonus. Everyone should go check it out! Alien Drum Circle was my favorite. Also don't eat condensed matter pancakes.

Frankly I've always preferred Brian without the mustache, but the drama is real here! Very interesting content, I've always been interested to see how you guys work on set! And can I say something? I know there are the cameras and all, but you guys seem all so in control and relaxed even if exhausted, frustrated and annoyed by tech issues and averything. Admiring. I mean, it seems that Brian didn't even sleep for th whole thing, I would be very irritated! Props to you!

I loved VHS Christmas! I watched it live (the first Saturday show) and it was incredible! I'm so excited for what Starkid is going to come up with next.

I just bought the album! its amazing, I wish I had bought tickets to the show, but I imagine that it was amazing! you both sang beautifully, even though it is no longer Christmas I know I will be blasting my house with these songs all year round!

the show was amazing! It was one of my fave starkid shows that I've ever watched, and also the first one that I've ever been able to see live (obvs was prerecorded but seeing you on the chat and the little after show stuff :)) ). This video was super interesting to see how it got made and thank you so much for both this and AVHSCC! also the Jacob Marley costume was a LOOK. xx

Loved seeing the behind the scenes for this! VHS Christmas Carol has become one of my favourite favourite projects Starkid has done you all did an amazing job! I had tickets for the very first show and because I couldn't watch that one I ended up being able to watch it with my friend the next night which was so special!! I'm sorry for how stressful that first night was but it turned out amazing!!
VHS CC was SO good!! i constantly have the songs stuck in my head, you guys did great! also meredith, i would love to see some animal crossing content hehe
