the British library and library of congress are really about the same size when it comes to how many items they have. Both are crowning jewels of libraries and information.
If the government really cared about feeding the worlds hungry..these items could be auctioned off to those who really appreciate books and collectibles and use the money to help the world and end our country's dept!
I agree that we need to live the world put of poverty! It will make the entire world better. We have tons of existing wealth to be redistributed in a lopsided society and need to do so. Auctioning original works is questionable because it means they could disappear from the public eye. These documents need to be duplicated, protected & shared as world knowledge 🌏🌎🌍
