I don't think we talk enough about how similar Keira Knightley and Rosamund Pike’s voices are, it’s such a subtle but perfect detail that adds to their casting as sisters. Their voices aren’t exactly the same, but they complement each other beautifully: Keira’s sharper, more expressive tone reflects Elizabeth's wit and fire, while Pike's calm, elegant voice captures Jane’s grace and warmth. It’s those little things that make their sisterly bond feel so authentic on screen. Truly one of the best casting decisions ever.
Edit : I should also note that even Carey Mulligan has a perfect combination of Keira's sharp expressive tone and Pike's calm and elegant voice. The casting is so perfect that I actually bought them as sisters had I didn't know who they are

Pride and Prejudice was one of my mom's favorite movies. I remember this one summer, she had the movie on repeat probably 500 times, and somewhere along the line, I started to slowly grow interested in the movie that I eventually sat down to watch it with her in the living room for the last 200. It grew so much on me that I learned almost the entire dialogue of the movie, and she would chuckle whenever I repeated some of them.
She passed away in 2018, and that summer watching Pride and Prejudice over and over again will forever be one of my most cherished memories with her.

Fun Fact: Among all the actresses that played the Bennet sisters, Keira, Pike, and Carey Mulligan have remained especially close. Keira and Carey went on to do Never Let Me Go together. Carey and Pike have done three films together, makes it better that they were even roommates when they auditioned for and filmed An Education. Keira and Pike were neighbors in London for quite a while and as she said in this video that she reached out to Pike after seeing I Care A Lot which is very sweet. Love when a film leads to real, lasting friendships. These three's chemistry off screen is what a Bennet sister would do in real life ❤

Wow, I’ve been in love with Keira since back then. It’s incredible how 20 years have already passed. She’s aged, and so have I-both of us exactly the same age. And it’s interesting how she admired the confidence and wisdom that Rosamund showed on the set of Pride and Prejudice because nowadays, she embodies exactly that. A person who knows how to express herself beautifully and has a big heart.

The closest we could've gotten was during the 2014/2015 award season where Keira was nominated for The Imitation Game and Pike was nominated for Gone Girl and yet these two didn't interact or we didn't get a photo of them together. How relief to see them finally in the same frame again
