to think that whole dragon attack scene was a means to an end in the overall story. the return of the house of the Dragon who want revenge against those who betrayed them and usurped their throne.

A Dragonborn is a Dragon in human/elf form, the same rules apply to him/her. Plus, the dragonborn ate a lot of dragon souls, more clues for madness.
Just to watch the acts of Tiber Septim, even if he built a "stable" Empire he was a Tyrant and he ate (as far as we know) no dragon soul... So a Dragonborn like the Last and Miraak ? They are nuclear bombs who just wait to be detonate.
Finaly to finish on my parralel with GOT : if the Dragonborn was in GOT, he/she would be a mad Targaryen. If Daenerys was in Elder Scrolls, she would be a very powerful Dragonborn.

Is it me or drogons flames was on another level from caraxes and the other dragons in hod
Since the Targaryen dragons were bred for different purposes, like Meleys, Rhaenys Dragon, is the fastest there is. Caraxes for mobility, while Dreamfyre and her brood might be bred for war.
Balerion's flame was able to melt steel. That's 1400° Celsius. But in the Crabfeeder episode, it shows Caraxes' flame literally disintegrating a person with nothing left but a foot, just from the flame itself. So i'd say Caraxes' flame is hotter if it's able to do that type of damage.
However, i think Balerion's subspecies is the same type as Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion. As we saw in the skull that Cersei shot. It's exactly the same patterns. So given that info, i believe Dreamfyre was also the same subspecies since it's theorized that she's the one that gave birth to Dany's dragons (and the show did show that she looked like them which could heavily imply that they support the theory). They seem to be the fastest growing species and they also seem to be the largest. They're not the fastest but they have speed. They're more muscular and more armored than any other species. And with the info we have from Balerion's flame, they're also able to melt steel. So they seem to be an all-rounder, like they're not the best at every category but they probably are a close second. Which means they're more or less the Alpha species since they're the most numerous. It's also rumored that The Cannibal is the same species as Balerion but i hope not because Vhagar's species looks hardier and more willing to eat other dragons. Or maybe even an unmutated version of Caraxes' subspecies would be best fitting for The Cannibal.
Anyway, in terms of speed, it's clear that Caraxes is faster, and the species of Meleys and Syrax are the fastest. But including Caraxes to any best of species list is a little bit of a cheat since the dragon itself is unique due to severe mutations.
Okay, so here's my theory on this. Caraxes was kept in the dragon pits, as were most of the dragons from HOTD. Whereas Drogon was always wild and free. I think that just made him more volatile and stronger and more lethal. He hunted his food, he kept strong by being able to fly.
He was Balerion reborn or so Danny thought in the books
Why is it so wrong for Daenerys to burn the majority of kings landing ? Didn't tywin also do that in robert rebellion? Who cares about the peasants anyway 😒

Don't get me wrong, I love the character. But he's undeniably evil. As are most characters in ASoIaF.

@@lisamarneta3005 That would have been nice. Rhaegal was just the child of Daenerys like Viserion but she only had a bond with Drogon.
I think Rhaegal and Jon would have been a good team because there was already a connection that unfortunately could never be developed.
