There doesn't seem to be too many videos of Les Paul Customs. This one is shot great with the perfect lighting and angle to really highlight the beauty of the guitar. And your playing is on point! The sounds, both clean and dirty, are phenomenal. Good stuff!
Nice! I have an original 1968 and this one sounds good on the clean playing stuff - almost 'acoustic' in character. Would love to try this one and see how it feels compared to my own. Local stockist has a Murphy Lab 1959 Standard that is absolutely beautiful so high expectations!
I don't know why people pay extra to have their guitar destroyed haha. I'd rather pay less and do the damage myself and see all the history that I had put into it over the years.
They don't do it to just "make" it look old. They also "make" the guitar "play" like it's older. That is an art in itself. When you pick up a vintage guitar you can feel the difference. That is what Murphy captures with his guitars. Not an easy thing to do.
Your playing in all of your videos is just phenomenal. I love everything you play from the jazzier stuff to the heavy stuff, but other than Hey Joe, I don't recognize the songs. Would you be able to list out the songs in your videos, or provide a link to a list of the songs? Thanks so much for making these videos.
For the most clean stuff I'm just copy Mateus Asato‘s pieces from his old video clip. If you never heard of him you should really check it out. His really a great player.
I have seen a Gibson Les Paul Custom a few days ago in a tiny small guitar shop a few days ago, very bad condition, still 5000 pounds. But very nice guitar, a bit heavy.
@@taoofmetal9722 - Ever try one of the regular/non-historic customs? Wondering how they compare - guess you do think its worth the step up to a reissue! Appreciate the reply.
You play that the way it would have been played in 1968 and it sounds wonderful!
Wow thanks man.

Thanks man, you really get it.
Perfectly out of tune like any fine les Paul as well.
Yes it’s a rare video beautifully shot of this black beauty . Totally agreed ✌️
Awesome LP Custom! Super transparent chords, great definition tones, great finishing production video! All the Best from Brazil!

Great guitar and a great player. Nice, very nice 😎🎸

Me 2. Even i foynd myself getting Murphy Lab heavy aged 2 weeks ago.
Me too. Not a fan of aged guitar. But I have to say the Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging finish looks very cool.
“destroyed” you can still play it dumb dumb
@@Ottophil Obviously you lack the intelligence to grasp the concept of my comment.

What a beautiful guitar...
how are your tone knobs set (or knob I should say) for that clean tone with the neck pickup?
nice and bright, that is a nice guitar...
How does this guitar compare to the normal Les Paul custom?

The pickups are a bit dark, but the playing is very nice ! Beautiful guitar... not too heavy ? Cheers
just funky!
Nice playing! Are the finger board edges rolled off compared to the non-aged version? Also, what is the weight on yours?
Muito bom de ouvir.
Love it - sounds great! How do you think it compares to the '57? How do the neck carves differ?
Didn't feel too much differences between these two neck carves. Both feels very thick to me. The ‘57 is a very heavy guitar.

differences between this and the 1957?
1957 is all mahogany, 68 has a maple top, pickups, knobs, neck profile
bocchi's guitar
Nope it’s her dad‘s guitar 😉
@@Eli-mx8lzYou're right, bocchi's personal guitar is the yamaha pacifica 611 VFM (on EP12). The gibson 1968 reissue ebony belongs to her dad.
@@TheAverage-3122 yeah your absolutely right. 👍👍 by the way your profile picture looks Amazing did you made it yourself?
@@Eli-mx8lz Haha thanks! I didnt made that pfp. It's from the episode where Bocchi meets the drunk bassist Kikuri Hiroi.
@@TheAverage-3122 ooh ok thank you.
Beautiful guitar, shame about all the scratches in the paintwork :(
😂Actually these scratches are made by some one.
Its on purpose, lol, you sound dumb when you act like its not
Не звучит!!!Но игрок хорош!!!
I’ll take my 1968 in perfect condition with yellow amber clear coat enough of this artificial poser crap
Sounds like most Gibsons. Kind of out of tune and intonated poorly
what are you doing here if you're just selling nonsense?
@@bogarbill6331 I'm selling the truth
That was great!!
