@@jesstodryk agreed. Not saying give up. Just that deep Autumn beauties shine best in matte. But glitters are fun. If you like it then why not. It's not always about "looking good" (which we all are) it's more about having fun
Love your final makeup look!!!! I am also a deep autumn and I noticed your hair looks jet black on camera. I think a dark brown or a black that is less harsh would look more flattering on deep autumns
I know it has been a bit since you made the video. I just discovered I’m a dark autumn and trying to get my color palettes to fit that. You’re so gorgeous. It’s a personal preference, I’m sure but I really loved your look before any foundation. I felt like a lighter, more natural look would really suit you. Super helpful to see autumn shades.
I recently learnt about colour analysis and found out I'm a deep autumn so I've been looking for different makeup inspiration for the palette and your video is by far my favourite yet! Absolutely love the look and can't get over the fact that you're almost 36, I legit thought you're 25, max 28! You have such a lovely vibe and I thoroughly enjoyed watching this, thank you for the inspo, can't wait to try this look :)
I am a subscriber to the dominant features theory - basically a loose version of the seasonal theory. Basically, yes we all have many features to us - warm or cool, clear or muted, dark or light - but these features aren’t equal. For most of us, there is something that stands out, and if that’ something to is honored, the rest is less important. For example, I have very yellowed coloring to my skin but have clear, non-dimensional almost black hair and eyes. Both warm Gold jewelry and cool blue clothing can make my skin look dull and jaundice-like because my temperature is almost neutral. My dominant feature is depth, as long as a color is a deep shade, it looks good on me. On the other hand if the color is too light it doesn’t matter what temperature it is, it looks off. I think dark autumn is great for you, but also recommend focusing on your dominant trait and not a category
That is a super interesting take and I’d love to read up more on that! I guess I’m not sure what my”dominant” feature would be haha! But thank you for your thoughts! I’m very intrigued
@@jesstodryk hi. I think your dominant feature would be deep/ dark. So in that dominant theory, as long as you wear deep colors, it will look good on you. If you translate it to the 12 season system, you should be able to wear the deep/ dark colors in DA & DW. (but that's true in the 12 season system anyway - as a DA, you can borrow colors from DW, which is your sister season.)
I think I’m a light deep autumn not a true deep autumn because some colors are too muted and heavy for me. I can even go over to the warm spring colors.
It’s suggested for deep autumn to avoid shimmers dewy looks and glosses. Matte and bronze is best suited.
You’re very beautiful by the way.
Thanks! But I’m never giving up glitter gloss and dewy looks haha ! Should still do what makes you feel best! Thank you for the compliment!

Agree ❤️
Just discovered I’m a deep autumn too. Now I need to go through my make up and see what colors are best. Great vid! Will try tape trick too.
Oh that’s awesome!!!! I love the richness of this season!!! I’ll def do more makeup videos around the deep autumn! Thanks for watching❤️

Ohhh there’s some beautiful colors in ur palette! If you ever get the chance to have yourself analyzed, do it! It was sooo eye opening!
@@jesstodryk I’m really thinking about that. I’d love someone professional to really break it down!
Who would have thought about the purple kinda matched your nails. You look beautiful but that’s a lot makeup to wear everyday.
I thought I was deep autumn but I am not sure anymore. Someone help me please 😭
Highly suggest reaching out to @createdcolorful on Instagram! She can help!
