When I was a kid Christmas meant friends, family, giving and receiving presents, but with every passing year there is less and less of everything so for me Christmas is just like any other day that comes and goes. That being said, to whom ever reads this I hope you have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Joyous Kwanzaa and for any that I left out, I wish you the warmest of Seasons Greetings.
I can relate to your boyfriend my aunt passed away around Christmas time from breast cancer we celebrate Christmas because my whole family gets to spend time together we don't really know how much time we have so we make the best of it. My aunt Karen was a very generous women she would always buy presents for everyone even tho she didn't have much money. This Christmas both my grandmothers are getting a special present from me I'm going to tell them I'm engaged to my boyfriend so this Christmas will be special.
I really love this Christmas series! This holiday means a lot to me, because it was my grandfathers favourite holiday. The beginning of november he started building a Christmas village in his living room (it really took about half the living room). He loved the lights, the small houses and the figurines. Sometimes he just watched it for hours and then you could see a sparkle in his eyes, he became a little kid again. I loved that about him. So I'm already crying.... don't get me wrong, I love thinking about him, but I miss him terribly. He was my best friend. And later when my grandmother also died, I felt like Christmas wasn't the same without them. And it really never became the same, but it also became a way to have them so very close to me. Everytime I walk somewhere and they also build a little village, I know he is watching this with me and I see the sparkle in his eyes again. That's why, although I miss a lot of people, I still love Christmas. It's my connection...
I love how Christmas brings families and loved ones together and getting to see all the beautiful decorations and lights....but ever since my parents got a divorce my once family of 5 is now just my mother and I so Christmas to me isn’t the same as it used to be when I was younger and seeing all my friends and my boyfriends family all get together for this holiday always makes me a little jealous. I still love this holiday tho, it just gets hard every once in awhile but I keep a happy face on for my mom cuz she means the world to me. Anyway I can’t wait to see the rest of this park, it looks so beautiful ☺️

I have no reason to love Christmas but I can't help but love it. I often had violent Christmas' as a youth and one of my worst memories was a christmas one. I think I just decided that this is the ONE thing that nobody, no matter what, can ruin for me and stubbornly have plodded through any negative thrown at me during the holidays. I love that life feels just a little bit different for a month..or even a week...Even if it were just for a day! I love the lights and glitz and that for one day people accept my over hyped mentality as just normal. My sister and I are just nuts about it and it helps keep our bond and sense of family! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROPER CRIMBO!!!
I’ve always loved Christmas. I enjoy making people happy through gifts or just helping them out in any way I can. I especially love Christmas now because I have two children. Waking them up on Christmas morning and seeing their faces when they see the gifts that Santa has brought them is truly magical. Christmas to me is about spending time with family, friends and relatives. - I've grown up with Christmas being a large event in our family, however, over the years my understanding of what others think of Christmas has changed, and has somewhat upset me deeply. - My father isn't much of a person who enjoys Christmas, so with him, its hard to fully decorate the house to how we want it, due to him being "ba-humbug". - Last Christmas was truly something devastating. - Due to us always celebrating with our family, we would have family from all around England come to our place for Christmas Day to eat, sing, drink, celebrate and watch fireworks in the night, this year, is not like that. - My granddad (my father's dad) unfortunately had a serious accident a year and a half ago while staying with us, since he's from Northern England, and we rarely got to see him. He had broke his leg, and was hospitalised for three weeks, which during that duration, he was struggling with infections, and mental issues. - He turned 89 in May this year, and he has been through a heck-load in his life, and is truly an amazing person and character. Since his accident, his life has turned around, and his mental health has been rapidly deteriorating, and has been in-and-out of hospital very frequently, more so just a couple days ago for a urinary infection. - This Christmas we're not going to be able to see him due to his health, and will definitely be something less at the dinner table. - My Grandma (my mother's mum) has also been deteriorating in health recently, as well as her brother who has to go into hospital every other day for dialysis, which again has chucked his life upside down. Fortunately my grandma and her brother are much closer than my granddad, so it is easier to go visit them once in a while, (especially since I am now driving!). I hope that this year they can come over, and celebrate with us, but this is all dependent on their health. - I still love Christmas, no matter what happens, and even if I don't believe in Santa! - But Christmas will never be the same without my family there, ever. - Nothing can beat it.
a lot of years i couldn enjoy christmas, because my mom died one week before christmas when i was 18. years later i love christmas, because the whole family comes together and we have a nice time :)
I love Christmas, it is usually a time to be with my family. But for the past 5 years, we've lived in Japan and have been away from my family. This year we are in Germany, again, away from family. But I still love Christmas, I love making the holiday cookies that I usually bake with my mom and sister and giving them to friends. I love creating new traditions with my kids and husband and new friends and learning traditions of other cultures and countries. The Christmas markets in Germany really help you get into that Christmas spirit and make it a little easier to be so far away from home.
I've been to the Christmas market in Berlin once.. really nice to go there indeed and get into a christmas spirit ❤ Super curious to hear from you what the big differences are experiencing it in Japan and Germany and where are you from yourself before you moved ?
That's super sweet lady! I love it. Christmas for us is spending time with family, play familygames and remember the people that are not among us annymore. This year is a very hard cristmas for us because it is the first christmas without our big red cat Rebel. So we light a candal and we know that he is with us. It is also a time to realise how lucky we are.
OMG yes! I was wondering if any of my favorite Planet Coaster creators would start a Christmas series this year, and you did! YES! For me, Christmas is my favorite holiday. And it's weird because I've never really done anything super festive (which I think is what it's all about). Like, I've been to Christmas markets, I've always had a tree (except for this year because I recently moved and couldn't bring it :'( and I'm also going to be in London for Christmas anyway, so), and I've done lights like a couple of times. Nothing ever super cool though. But like, I feel like even though i've missed some of the core aspects of Christmas like big family get togethers, CANDLES, house decorations, etc, I've still had some of the best times of my life during Christmas. It's just the feeling of it, like it's so hard to explain but it's just pure blissfulness. I LOVE snow, and I love being cold, and the winter landscapes are so beautiful and I feel so peaceful... Also when I was younger, I loved Christmas because of presents and getting up super early to see what Santa brought, and sharing everything with my brother. Even for the people who can't celebrate it as much as they could, for whatever reason, I feel like everyone has a place for it in their hearts from when they were younger. :) EDIT: Do you happen to remember the song you put at 10:43 ? it's really nice!
For me, Christmas has always been about the warm feelings we get because everyone around us seems to be nicer and happier and my only issue is that we cannot seem to maintain it through the year; such a shame we can't keep that with us all the time - to paraphrase an epic Christmas movie (Scrooged - Bill Murray) 'Christmas is the time where we become the people we have always wanted to be'. As an adult I enjoy the build up more than the actual day; choosing gifts for the people I love, buying and decorating the tree, writing and sending cards, Christmas movies whilst wrapping presents; but the last few years have been more special again on Christmas day and I think that is because I have two young nephews and seeing the wonder and excitement they have is infectious. One last note before I finish rambling, this year, whilst doing shopping trips, I have bought additional items and donated them to a local food bank via my workplace; it is a sad reality that there are a large proportion of people out there who don't have enough to make Christmas a celebration; heck, they barely have enough to get by, so I have purposely made sure that I do not forget that fact and do my small part, as best I can, in the hopes that it brings Christmas cheer to at least one other person who otherwise would not. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and happy New Year xx
This made my day today (The cherry on the Holiday Cake)! Its been a couple of really stressful days lately (its finals week and the struggle is real), and it already feels like break/christmas becuase its so close to break AND it also snowed today! It was only for a little bit but it was well worth it! I love the music choice and the building style you chose. It would be cool in the final cinematic video of this build to play either a whispered/hushed version of silent night and relaxing piano music to keep with the mood. I know Im going crazy over this right now but I just thought of giving some ideas! Keep up the fantastic work and Im looking forward to seeing the progress of this build.
I don't celebrate Christmas, but I understand what it means to those who celebrates it. Personally, I don't like holidays and celebrations. It feels like I am forced to be happy and full of joy on such days. But I do like to watch those who celebrates them. I may not be able to experience what it means to celebrate Christmas. But I can understand the warmth and joy, reflected in the eyes of those who celebrates it. And the happiness that radiates from them does make me happy. So, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone.

I think Christmass is awesome, but i can understand why some people dont like it. Stuff happens and if something happens that takes the yay-its-christmass-again feeling away that really sucks. But hey, always try to stay positive no matter what happens and maybe, even if you think its ruined forever for you, there may once come a time when you can forget the past and enjoy christmass again🤗merry christmass to y’all!

Hi theladysigner I am from Malaysia how are you, i don't celebrate Christmas is because i am a Punjabi and i only celebrate deepavali but the one and only think i love about Christmas is the decorations. I love decorating the Christmas tree which i do have and I decorate it every year on the 1st of December till end of the year
I love the ice skating rink idea! Pity tourists don't actually go there. I hope they can put ice in the water area and have some rides on ice in the future dlc
I still love Christmas (my favoritrle season) but Christmas since my adulthood hasn't felt enjoyable as it was since my childhood. Growing up is part of it but I enjoyed spending time with Christmas with my cousins and I lost my closest cousin 8 years ago. I still love Christmas and I still get good presents but Christmas has felt different as an adult.
Christmas is about love. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son Christ Jesus" Our savior even though most of us know it's not his true birthday, it's the day we celebrate the birth of our King. we always having friends and family over for dinner play games and watch movies. Celebrating that the son of God is born. My wife and two dothers are very big fan of Christmas and we are building trees and littlte villages with lots of lichting and watch al home alone movies and the muppets christmas carol is one of the favorite. Its also a time that you mis your loved ones and think back to them. so christmas is in our family in portant en We wish all of you a merry christmas
Christmas for me this year will be extremely difficult; I lost my father this September and I have yet to fully process his passing. So my mom decided for Christmas and his birthday (in March), we will be leaving the country and going on a couple of family trips to keep my mind occupied. Have not even put up my tree and will not be doing presents. Hopefully next year, I will not be as much as a Scrooge.

Mmmmh, well since im a cook christmas in my mind means a lot of work for me and less its a time for family and friends. I like my job very much, making people happy with what i do, the only think i dislike is when some people think its normal for us not to be by our loved once and acting like they where suprised that we`re sometimes not happy when the days are going to get longer and longer because of lots of work.

What a wonderful lovely video, thank you deLady! :) And thank you for bringing a bit of happiness and "X-Mas spirit" to us, really wonderful thoughts! I used to absolutely love Christmas, and to the biggest part still do. But by that I mean X-Mas Day and Eve, not the whole run up to it... Like many others I really can't stand the whole commercialism around it, that X-Mas pretty much starts in September or October already, that all the shops start pumping out so much Christmas crap for months, it's horrendous (plus, like someone else mentioned: god I hate the X-Mas music, it is the worst!! :) ). And then everyone rushing off to buy each other the most expensive stuff and thinking that's how they have to show how much they love each other... To me, that's just sad! That's why me and my girlfriend have decided a few years ago already to have a max. budget of €15 for presents to each other! This makes it so much more fun to find creative fun little presents within that budget for each other, you actually think about what to get the other instead of just spending lots of money! We also always try to do a shoe-box appeal or something, maybe this year we even might go volunteering in town for a homeless shelter or something, if there actually is such a thing... The one thing that I am sad about is that I won't be able to see any of my friends and family as I live in a different country (all of them are in Switzerland with me living in Ireland)... To keep things fair me and my girlfriend spend one year in Ireland and the next in Switzerland, and this year I'll be in Ireland, so while I love spending the holidays with my girlfriend (and her family) it's still a bit sad I won't get to see my folks. But then again I know I'll see them next X-Mas again and it's all fair and good then! :) In any case, I would want to wish everyone in the little deLady PlanCo Family here wonderful holidays at all! Whether you celebrate it or not, just have a wonderful time, be good to each other and yourself! I love the idea of Christmas. The wholesome nature of it, and families, and the general sentiment of joy to all. However, it's hard nowadays to look past the extremely excessive commercialization... and the god damn music.

Its been a couple of really stressful days lately (its finals week and the struggle is real), and it already feels like break/christmas becuase its so close to break AND it also snowed today! It was only for a little bit but it was well worth it! I love the music choice and the building style you chose. It would be cool in the final cinematic video of this build to play either a whispered/hushed version of silent night and relaxing piano music to keep with the mood. I know Im going crazy over this right now but I just thought of giving some ideas! Keep up the fantastic work and Im looking forward to seeing the progress of this build.

My favorite part about Christmas is nutcrackers. Me and my family decorate our mantle with over 30 nutcrackers every year.
I don't celebrate Christmas, but I understand what it means to those who celebrates it. Personally, I don't like holidays and celebrations. It feels like I am forced to be happy and full of joy on such days. But I do like to watch those who celebrates them. I may not be able to experience what it means to celebrate Christmas. But I can understand the warmth and joy, reflected in the eyes of those who celebrates it. And the happiness that radiates from them does make me happy. So, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone.
IT is a shame that the park attendees didn't dress for the season. Hopefully you will provide enough first aid stations to treat hypothermia... Seriously, this is a real treat. Thanks for doing it.

I think Christmass is awesome, but i can understand why some people dont like it. Stuff happens and if something happens that takes the yay-its-christmass-again feeling away that really sucks. But hey, always try to stay positive no matter what happens and maybe, even if you think its ruined forever for you, there may once come a time when you can forget the past and enjoy christmass again🤗merry christmass to y’all!

Hi theladysigner I am from Malaysia how are you, i don't celebrate Christmas is because i am a Punjabi and i only celebrate deepavali but the one and only think i love about Christmas is the decorations. I love decorating the Christmas tree which i do have and I decorate it every year on the 1st of December till end of the year
I love the ice skating rink idea! Pity tourists don't actually go there. I hope they can put ice in the water area and have some rides on ice in the future dlc
You should make a ski/snowboard run with the railings, like on the roof of the train station
I still love Christmas (my favoritrle season) but Christmas since my adulthood hasn't felt enjoyable as it was since my childhood. Growing up is part of it but I enjoyed spending time with Christmas with my cousins and I lost my closest cousin 8 years ago. I still love Christmas and I still get good presents but Christmas has felt different as an adult.

My wife and two dothers are very big fan of Christmas and we are building trees and littlte villages with lots of lichting and watch al home alone movies and the muppets christmas carol is one of the favorite. Its also a time that you mis your loved ones and think back to them. so christmas is in our family in portant en We wish all of you a merry christmas
Christmas for me this year will be extremely difficult; I lost my father this September and I have yet to fully process his passing. So my mom decided for Christmas and his birthday (in March), we will be leaving the country and going on a couple of family trips to keep my mind occupied.
Have not even put up my tree and will not be doing presents. Hopefully next year, I will not be as much as a Scrooge.

Mmmmh, well since im a cook christmas in my mind means a lot of work for me and less its a time for family and friends. I like my job very much, making people happy with what i do, the only think i dislike is when some people think its normal for us not to be by our loved once and acting like they where suprised that we`re sometimes not happy when the days are going to get longer and longer because of lots of work.

I used to absolutely love Christmas, and to the biggest part still do. But by that I mean X-Mas Day and Eve, not the whole run up to it... Like many others I really can't stand the whole commercialism around it, that X-Mas pretty much starts in September or October already, that all the shops start pumping out so much Christmas crap for months, it's horrendous (plus, like someone else mentioned: god I hate the X-Mas music, it is the worst!! :) ). And then everyone rushing off to buy each other the most expensive stuff and thinking that's how they have to show how much they love each other... To me, that's just sad! That's why me and my girlfriend have decided a few years ago already to have a max. budget of €15 for presents to each other! This makes it so much more fun to find creative fun little presents within that budget for each other, you actually think about what to get the other instead of just spending lots of money! We also always try to do a shoe-box appeal or something, maybe this year we even might go volunteering in town for a homeless shelter or something, if there actually is such a thing...
The one thing that I am sad about is that I won't be able to see any of my friends and family as I live in a different country (all of them are in Switzerland with me living in Ireland)... To keep things fair me and my girlfriend spend one year in Ireland and the next in Switzerland, and this year I'll be in Ireland, so while I love spending the holidays with my girlfriend (and her family) it's still a bit sad I won't get to see my folks. But then again I know I'll see them next X-Mas again and it's all fair and good then! :)
In any case, I would want to wish everyone in the little deLady PlanCo Family here wonderful holidays at all! Whether you celebrate it or not, just have a wonderful time, be good to each other and yourself! It's good to be part of this lovely little community here, so again, thank you deLady, for bringing us all together and of course for creating awesome videos for us! :)

Die schaatsbaan is een supertof idee. Hopelijk ga je verder in dit park het huisje van de Kerstman bouwen en de carrousel (oude carrousels vindt je vaak op een kerstmarkt).
Carrousel komt er sowieso aan ;) !

I love the idea of Christmas. The wholesome nature of it, and families, and the general sentiment of joy to all. However, it's hard nowadays to look past the extremely excessive commercialization... and the god damn music.

Those are flat roof pieces :) put a whole bunch of them together and lower them to the ground that they cover your paths as if it looks your peeps walk over them :)
