    Question about setting this up for an event, as I'm offering a workshop gift. Since it's not a product but a single event, would I use the automations for the recipient offer when they add the code for the event, they are registered to the event. then the emails from the event go to the recipient? I'm just substituting an automation to register for the event instead of a product?

    • @rebeccaaustin
      @rebeccaaustin  Месяц назад +1

      With setting up gift certificates, I always recommend mapping out the process/journey on a whiteboard, mindmap software, or sheet of paper so you have a visual representation of each step and can keep all the elements straight in your mind. Yes, if not for a course but for an event, all the elements are the same, other than the recipient offer, where they enter the coupon code, would have automations set up to "register for event" to ensure they get on the event list and get the reminder emails. No matter what type of purchase (course, coaching, event, eBook, etc) the offer that the recipient uses to enroll will need to have all the necessary automations you require to facilitate the best possible client onboarding experience. The offer used to purchase the gift certificate will have automations and communications confirming the purchase and sending the coupon code. Does that make more sense and answer your question?

      @@rebeccaaustin thank you so much for your quick response. I love your Kajabi videos! they are very easy to understand and make a lot of sense. Yes, i do map out my journeys. I used to use a free app that is now quite expensive. do you have any suggestions other than my drawing it out in my notebook.

      @yehuditsteinberg thanks for the feedback and so glad to hear you are already mapping out your journeys! I use Miro.com for all our project mapping and team brainstorming. It IS a paid option and I can't remember to the top of my head what the rate is, but I started using it very early in my business journey, so I'm sure it's not crazy expensive. If you try it, let me know what you think!

      Great question! I don't have it in a step-by-step pdf, but we do share more comprehensive tips and tutorials for this and other aspects of Kajabi inside our Kajabi Mentorship program and Conversion Code program. I'm sure we could come up with something for you, though, if needed. Feel free to reach out through our website.

    Is it possible to do this but instead of this one being for one offer but to every offer we have?

    • @rebeccaaustin
      @rebeccaaustin  Месяц назад

      Great question and YES! Any coupon can be set up to work with as many offers as you would like to add in the coupon offer settings. And, you can add or remove offers at any time.

    Hi Rebecca! I am trying to set this all up and I’m just confused as to why we would add in the recipients name and email address in the recipient offer. Wouldn’t that be in the purchasers offer? So then that would pull into the email to the purchaser with the coupon code?

    • @rebeccaaustin
      @rebeccaaustin  27 дней назад

      When you're using the gift certificate settings as outlined in this video (rather than the new internal gifting option), the system is automatically generating a coupon code and sending it to the purchaser. That person can give that coupon code as a gift to whomever he or she wants, much like a prepaid gift card. We don't necessarily need the recipient's name at this point since it's the redemption of the coupon code that gets the recipient into your Kajabi system. Once the recipient redeems the code through the "recipient" offer, we DO need their email address (and preferably name) to facilitate their onboarding. Does that clear up your question? I know it can be confusing. I generally recommend mapping out the whole process/journey which gives you a visual of the full funnel/flow. Best wishes!

    Hi Rebecca! Thank you for this comprehensive tutorial. I've tested the purchase journey by creating 100% off coupon code. It worked perfectly but my upsell page for the gift offer doesn't appear. It also has a log in page. Is there any way to bypass the create a log in page for the purchaser of the gift certificate?

    • @rebeccaaustin
      @rebeccaaustin  Месяц назад +1

      Excellent question. Unfortunately, any offer in Kajabi will prompt the purchaser to create a password, so we can't remove this entirely, however you CAN add it to the checkout process instead of showing as a screen after purchase, simply by clicking the "additional settings" and click the box "collect password". That way it's just a part of the purchase and less disruptive. As for upsell, how exactly do you have it set up? On the original purchase or the recipient's purchase?

    • @Nicole_Balane
      @Nicole_Balane Месяц назад

      @@rebeccaaustin Thanks, adding the collect password is less disruptive. For the upsell, I added it to the offer page for the original purchaser. I was offering a buy this course for yourself in payment plans. It doesn't work. it just goes directly to "confirming purchase" and then the post purchase landing page.
