  • In this video I will share with you the process of installing a heated towel rail. To do this we will need a heated towel rail, reflectors with American stripes, flax, paste and several tools. It is important to prepare the grounding in advance, since all heated towel rails must be grounded.
Next, I'll show you how to use reflectors with rubber bands for convenient and aesthetically pleasing ground placement. The process involves brushing the American paste, applying flax, and attaching the reflector.
An important point is to use only flax when connecting the heated towel rail. This ensures a reliable connection and prevents potential leaks in the future.
I then demonstrate the process of screwing on a heated towel rail, highlighting the importance of grounding. I explain that grounding not only ensures electrical safety, but also prevents corrosion of the heated towel rail.
At the end of the video I show the final result of the installation, emphasizing the importance of checking for drips and enjoying the safe and effective use of your heated towel rail.

So, to install a heated towel rail we will need: the heated towel rail itself, reflectors along with American ones, flax, paste, and several tools.
    0:00:09
An important point is grounding preparation. All heated towel rails must be grounded, so I will use two grounds for each American.
    0:00:24
Before starting the installation, I prepare special reflectors with rubber bands to hide the grounding. They look just great.
    0:00:43
Lubricate the American paste and apply flax. Next, we use a reflector with an elastic band and put it on the inch hole of the American one.
    0:01:05
We select flax, measure out approximately the required amount and begin to wind it along the thread.
    0:01:40
I do not recommend using fum tape, as it is an unreliable connection. Only flax in plumbing - only reliability.
    0:02:00
I apply flax along the threads, ensuring a reliable connection to the heated towel rail.
    0:02:17
The connection must be reliable, especially for the heated towel rail. Do not forget about grounding, as this is important for electrical safety.
    0:02:39
Grounding is mandatory to avoid corrosion of heated towel rails and possible leaks in the future.
    0:03:07
The twisting process begins. We put on the reflector, the grounding is ready. Tighten, paying attention to the inner nut.
    0:03:37
Don't forget to put the reflector on the American one before screwing it on.
    0:03:44
It is important to twist the thread along with the flax. I show you how to use a chisel for convenience.
    0:04:01
I tighten the internal thread, ensuring a secure connection.
    0:04:29
There remains metal for grounding, which we will screw on. First we wipe the place where the grounding will be.
    0:04:53
We tie the grounding like a lace knot and leave a sufficient length of copper wire to wrap around the American woman.
    0:05:08
We clamp the wire with pliers and tie a knot. Important for reliability.
    0:05:28
Everything is covered with a reflector with an elastic band, preventing scratches and providing an aesthetic appearance.
    0:05:40
The result is everything in your face, tight and beautiful. Checking the grounding.
    0:06:15
Move it aside and check the grounding condition. I use two grounding connections for more reliable contact.
    0:06:55
The American ones are installed, the grounding is hidden. Everything is tight and without looseness. Don't forget to put gaskets.
    0:07:39
Grounding is routed to the common level potential system in the PMC box. Everything is ready, let's check for leaks.
    0:07:59
We are enjoying the results of installing the heated towel rail. May the Lord be with you.
