I had a feeling that Kyra’s baby was for Maurice the whole time, and not gonna lie, feeling pretty bad for Kirk right about now. I honestly don’t see him sticking around. Also I really want Janelle to have a girl too! Can’t wait for the Winterfest episode!
Kyra isn’t going to let a good( $$$) thing slip through her fingers. Wouldn’t be surprised if she was in their trying to get started on baby number 2. I can’t see Kirk just up and leaving but slowly working more and coming home less until he finally ends it. I feel like Maurice is going to be the last one to see what Kyras baby looks like. I can see Jake picking up Janelles phone ( not snooping ) and being like “ why do you have a baby picture of Maurice?? Maybe Martin is also stressing about finances because he knows it’s a matter of time before Jake is going to move out.
I think that a girl would help Jake get out of the crime life, but I think it would be cool that whenever Jake gets out of crime, he enters into the music industry. A lot of rappers make music about their experience in crime and facing adveristy and music might be a healthy way for him to remember and learn from his experiences! This would also open up the opportunity to move away from San Myshuno and perhaps fame could present its own issues (wandering eyes, jealousy, no time for janelle, etc.) Exploring fame would also create a completely different dynamic with the brothers and could be a reason why Maurice maybe isn't close to Jake after he becomes homeless since Jake doesn't have time for family after he reaches peak stardom
Also, I was thinking about how Martin is in the military career. Perhaps down the line, Martin dies in action and the family becomes further separated because Jake and Maurice grieve for so long that they grow apart. Especially if Jake becomes famous with the music thing I was talking about, it would be easy for him to grow apart from maurice and ignore his brother entirely because he hyperfocuses on his career to forget about Martin dying.
I could see Kirk fighting for custody, but that would mean Kyra is kind of negligent. Idk… maybe Maurice will find out and step in. Regardless, Kirk deserves better.
lol i don’t feel bad for kirk at all like he started sneaking around with kyra knowing she was with maurice so obviously based on the timeline alone it would make sense that there would be a question of paternity like hello! and since kirk had no regards for maurice and his feelings (smiling in maurice’s face knowing what was going on behind the scenes) why should we have any for him being played by kyra?
