  • One of the strangest days iv ever had! I have phoned the police and they have no record of this event happening...... what do you guys think?
    RAF Rudloe Manor is known as "Britain's Area 51" since declassified secret files released at the National Archives indicated the site was the centre for UFO investigations in the 1950s.
    The wider site continued as both a communications hub and home of various administrative units. No.1 Signals Unit was established to manage all UK terrestrial communications infrastructure for the RAF. With the launch of the UK Satellite Communications System, Skynet, in the late 1960s, the site of Controller Defence Communications Network (CDCN) was established. A spacecraft operations centre was established by 1001 Signals Unit, the spacecraft operations organisation, on a small enclave within the site, known as Hawthorn.
    The headquarters of the RAF Provost and Security Service (P&SS) was established nearby, although on the closure of the station it moved to RAF Henlow.
    RAF Rudloe Manor was the location of Headquarters Southern Area Royal Observer Corps (ROC) from 1952 until 1980, when it was relocated to Lansdownnear Bath. Co-located with the ROC was Headquarters Southern Sector United Kingdom Warning and Monitoring Organisation, responsible for the now-defunct four-minute warning in the event of nuclear attack during the Cold War.
    The manor house, built in the late 17th century, was designated as Grade II* listed in 1985.
    The site was adjacent to Basil Hill Barracks, the Headquarters of No. 2 Signal Brigade, HMS Royal Arthur and the Royal Naval Stores Depot (RNSD) Copenacre.
    The station was closed in 2000. The Defence Communication Services Agency (DCSA) took responsibility for the sites, and was reorganised into the Information Systems & Services cluster in 2008.

      1. You were trespassing on private property. Were a lady was heard shouting her dogs nothing to do with security.
      2. The police know your car isn't the cloned one by the chassis number which is displayed in the corner of the windscreen which will match your number plate.
      3. Governments do sneaky beaky stuff to keep us safe, nothing to do with little green men.
      4. So if you trespass on private property, or look a bit dodgy around farms were believe me stuff is stolen alot! The police will check you out. Sorry guys, conspiracy theories are great fun but that is all they are. Putting 2 and 2 together and making 60.

      Bad idea - one of my mates who was actually a trained technician with MOD had to go there once to do some work on some wiring. When he went in, he had an armed escort and was told he was only allowed to go directly to the place he had to work and leave directly when finished, and the armed guard stayed with him all the time, and escorted him off the base at the end of the day.
      That place is no joke - don't try it.

    Here's what I think happened with the police incident...the guy you met earlier who took a photo of your car most likely called the police and gave them your reg plate saying you were acting suspicious, not locals, and due to local robbery he mentioned, the police ran your reg through the system. It's then they discovered it's cloned and there's two records for it, so they dispatched a team out to investigate. Purely coincidence nothing to do with the MOD site or an attempt to spook you. If that site had any value at all still for the MOD you wouldn't be able to get within a half a mile of it without encountering military. Why it's not demolished I'm not sure, probably due to all the vast underground complex and tunnels making that expensive and difficult. It will certainly never be sold as a private residence. Anyone who has been to an active MOD site will know how tight the security is with perimeters miles from sensitive sites with high wire fences layers of barbed wire ontop, cameras, warning signs 'MOD Property Do Not Enter' etc.

    • @kdlofty

      Undercover cops wouldn't do something that makes them stand out from the others and always finds a way that is much less confrontational, unlike that poor bloke in the SAAB

    • @emziilouuu
      @emziilouuu 9 месяцев назад +1

      They have soldiers posted to guard any building of significance to the MOD, but when they abandon said buildings, there's almost no security left there as they aren't going to fund that. They most definitely WONT leave any documentation behind without it being guarded, so your 'theory' is most likely the reality here. It's not so easy to access an active barracks, there's always guards you have to show ID and passes to, so somewhere with highly confidential information/documentation is going to be much more heavily guarded, with NO access around the entire perimeter, they would never lapse in maintaining that perimeter either.

    As someone clued up on police things i can tell you there's millions of ANPR cameras all over the UK, city centres, motorways, reading number plates constantly and capturing images of the plates the car and occupants, all uploading to databases constantly.
    When a vehicles been used in crime a marker is placed on PNC (police national computer)
    and where a cloned number plate is suspected, a marker is usually to stop the vehicle and obtain keeper details and those of other occupants inside.
    Because thieves try to steal number plates off similar cars or copy the plate and make their own and then put them on the dodgy vehicles.
    Say for instance the car with false plates is a blue 3 series BMW , the plates might pass a quick radio check by police but if it was stopped, unless they knew who you are, where you live etc they'd get lifted.
    There's bound to be slight variations in the source car ie special editions, dents, alloy wheels or even the air freshener hanging off your mirror. The police will hopefully have been provided with this description and know what to look for as there's bound to be slight variations in the car ie special editions, sports packages with alloy wheels etc, even the air freshener hanging off your mirror. The pictures captured by ANPR often show the driver and occupants who in this instance may have clearly not been white guys with beards, but they still have to check.
    The vehicle that's been cloned may have been dumped or be still at large, so by checking these details and noting any modifications it's easier to spot the clone, which will help you with any possible tickets or RTC claims
    I heard someone saying you're entitled to not open the door?
    This isn't the states, traffic law in the UK means you can be stopped at anytime and you are required by law to provide your driving licence, insurance certificate and vehicle registration when asked to do so by a police officer, failure to do so is an offence. But as most people don't carry all these items with them you can be given a notice to produce these documents, at a police station of your choosing, within seven days from midnight on the day the notice is given.
    A little advice, don't take the I know my rights stance or be a dick with the cops, it won't go down well at all.That officer could have just come back from delivering a death message to a family or a serious traffic accident and might be having a really shit day.
    Also consider what you're wearing as it sends a message that can be taken the wrong way, for instance your mates hoodie with sea shepherd on it says I like whales to me but might say animal rights activist, ALF/terrorist to someone else, when you're talking about Portland down because that's where the deadly viruses get tested unfortunately on animals (or so I've heard)
    ed probably most importantLASTLY, you don't know why you've been stopped, if it's under the terrorism act, which is very likely when sniffing round old military sitts or government facilities then you've got no rights. Polite and co-operative is the way to go.
    And one last thing, if you can digitise or just don't film any of your number plates then it'll stop scrotes from cloning it straight from RUclips.

      ALKUKES - "jbss7382 anpr its for stolen cars as fare as i know it will not trigger them of .... I could be wrong"
      ANPR is just Automatic Number Plate Recognition.
      Every car that goes past a Police car is scanned, and their plate checked against the PNC. If there is anything "untoward" (no insurance, no tax, no MOT, flagged for a stop, wanted driver or vehicle, known for drugs etc) then it will be displayed on the in car screen, and the Police will be able to act upon it.
      Same goes for Traffic camera's fitted with ANPR on trunk roads and the likes - they will pass information to the control room to send to local officers.
      Same also goes for petrol stations with ANPR - they recognise all number plates and store the data for any potential later use - they don't have access to the PNC though, so won't get driver information etc.

    • @LAPGOCHINSTRUCTOR
      @LAPGOCHINSTRUCTOR 6 лет назад +14

      The ANPR system in the cop car is not linked to the PNC. At the start of the Police Officers shift they download the latest database info of stolen vehicles, cars with no tax, MOT or Insurance and cars relating to drug. burglaries activity etc onto a memory card that is them placed in the on board computer [usually installed in the car boot] Vehicles passing the ANPR equipped Police vehicle [I don't believe the unmarked Police vehicle was equipped with ANPR - hence her story about cloning is false] are monitored by the external CCTV camera and checked against the database in the Police vehicle computer. To have ANPR connected to the PNC - the response time to cars passing the Police Vehicles CCTV and doing the number check would be too long.
      If the cloned story was true and it wasn't they would have taken you into custody until you could provide ID [driving licence] and proof of vehicle ownership. They didn't do either - the credit card is not an official means of ID. You were just being check out as having been in a restricted area

    • @the_mad_ratter
      @the_mad_ratter 6 лет назад +32

      Um...no. If the clone story was true they'd just check the VIN of the car to see if it's the original vehicle or the clone...
      That's what the cop was doing looking through the front window - checking the VIN at the bottom of the window/back of dash.
      If it was a check due to a restricted area, then the Identification required would be a legal form of Identification - as it was just to confirm the the Registered Keeper of the vehicle, anything with the Registered Keepers name on would have been fine - as long as the vehicle had not been reported stolen.
      The NPIAA regulate what is put onto the ANPR system, but it comes from the PNC :)
      The driver/accompanying Officer will then confirm the information with Control over their "radio".

      @@2112jonr All it takes is a little bit of respect and it goes a long way, I was pulled over while out for a drive with my friend he was the driver on this day and admittedly was driving far too fast breaking the speed limit. Once the officer saw us going too fast he flashed us and promptly pulled us over and asked us both to step out the car, once we had stepped out the car the two officers asked why we where driving like "complete bellends" my friend was a little too shaken to speak he was afraid he was going to get an instant ban (his own fault if he did as he chose to drive fast) so I instantly just replied with "because he is a dick" and the officer laughed agreed and said right lads you are clearly enjoying a night drive and its clearly a very nice car you have so it would be a shame to lose it all for the sake of one small mistake. at witch point he let us off and just told us to drive safe and slow it down a bit or next time my pal wouldn't just be getting a instant ban for driving too fast but would be getting his car not only seized and crushed but more than likely wrote of the road by a X6 or similar for speeding passed the police ! luckily this run in was enough to make my friend realize how important his license was to keep. TLDR: Got pulled over officer was polite and we where polite in return and got let off and sent on our way within minutes.

    • @Sifar_Secure
      @Sifar_Secure 5 лет назад +3

      Skynet is the name for the UK military satellite communications. The first Skynet satellites were launched in 1969, which predates the first Terminator movie by 15 years. 'Skynet' may be indelibly associated with robots from the future, but it's just a name appropriated by James Cameron.
      I'm not a UFO conspiracy theorist, and there's a lot of groundless speculation in this video, but the Skynet part is true.

    What I think will have happened is that the police ANPR camera tagged your vehicle as potentially being a 'clone' after their systems found your car in two places in a very short timespan, then they followed you until they could safely co-ordinate a stop for you car and then check out your ID, insurance etc. at 21:50 you can see a guy come up to the windshield of the car, likely checking out the VIN number of your vehicle to try and trace back when it was registered, you likely came back as the 'clean' car so they let up and let you on your way.

    • @deadinteresting8905
      @deadinteresting8905 6 лет назад +1

      yeah but where did the police come from, was Dans car seen on a camera, then followed? more like that fella in beginning rang the cops and then they came out looking for you.. possibly cos of the cloning, idk, but all seems a bit odd.

  • @TheRemixedProduction

    It's done via time frames. A crime may have been committed in London whilst you were in Chippenham, the next step would be to identify the vehicle in question and record the registration in order to have it logged on the Police National Database (PNDB) as standard practice, (the information could have been obtained through CCTV, eye witness etc) and will have been crossed referenced via the PNDB.
    The ANPR is not the only means to identify registered drivers particularly when it comes to incident logging, once the registration had been established in London, the registration in Chippenham may have also been flagged due to the registered details being in two places at once, this will have given the Police reasonable suspicion to question you to identify the correct named driver against the PNDB and the current details they have. They wouldn't necessarily have to have the car impounded as you describe in the video, nor would it mean the ANPR is the only tool at the disposal of the Police, however you may have been flagged due to being in two places at once and being around MOD buildings will have given further reasonable suspicion for the Police to stop you.
    I hope this helps and can shed some light on your questions.

    If it was cloned, you'll get loads of tickets through the post (which you'll probably have to go to court and state under oath that it wasn't you). If all the tickets come through on the same day.. then the cloning has probably been fabricated, as an excuse to check you out. If no fines or tickets arrive, then they've totally made it up to check you out.

    Reminiscent of the classic Dad's Army 'don't tell them your name Pike'. What's your name? "David Dixon". Amazing how a stroppy anti-police 'I know my rights' militant who won't even be civil and wind down his window comes around when he finds out the officers are in actual fact revealing his car has been cloned by the bad guys. Quote "Tell you what, I'll get out so you don't have to talk down..." And suddenly he's the policemens' best friend. Now why couldn't you have started off being polite...

    They know which vehicle was the cloned ones due to static and mobile cameras dotted around the whole of the UK which give vehicle details. You're the owner, therefore your name is the name used for the registered owner. That's why they didn't want formal ID, just ID that confirmed your name to make sure it matches that of the registered keeper. If it didn't, they'd know that you were the ones in the cloned car, however that wasn't the case.
    To ensure that you were the correct owners, they checked ID against the name of the registered keeper.

    Most MOD land in Wiltshire is supported by numerous hidden security cameras ... That's how they knew you were there. They were already aware of you before you turned up and had a look round. They were waiting for you to leave so they could pull you over. And they never send just one car, always multiple, just in case you turn out to be a danger to them or the general public. Good show, lads, keep up the great work.

  • @alexvickers257
    @alexvickers257 6 лет назад +13

    They'd know it was cloned by matching ANPR locations and if they were inconsistent it would look cloned. They knew you were the real one because of your name matching with insurance.

    • @alexvickers257
      @alexvickers257 6 лет назад +2

      You're tracked everywhere you go, if locations were within 10 mins but like 50 miles of each other, youd be suspect of being one of the cloned vehicles
