Yeah, it is slow getting to the good part of the story, but that's because they had to set everything up related to Corey's story. But I found it all very creepy from the beginning. Let's not forget, the first Halloween was also very slow aside from the first kill.
I will say even if Halloween 4,5,6 isn’t canon for this movie. they are a bit similar. I still believe though, that it's not canon and these movies are not popular along with Halloween ends. I feel like it will still give you a better understanding.
Yeah, this film pissed off both fans and critics and they didn't know what to make of it, whether it was a good ending or a bad ending to the franchise.
What’s funny and make people extreme hypocrites is people say the first Halloween is a classic and it’s the best one. Which it is. But they give this movie shit cuz they explained how evil never dies it just takes a new form (Cory) and also people say oh Michael wasn’t in this movie that much. Michael was in the original movie a shorter amount of time than this. The first kill he did with mask on happened almost like 40min into the movie so it’s just funny to me when people say that’s why they don’t like the movie it’s kinda stupid tbh.
People keep saying they should have introduced him sooner in other two but I don't think he was around in other two cause of covid this one got pushed back and they reworked the story had a new idea they always said before all three would be on same night glad they didn't do that cause everyone would be in hospital and hurt love this story very fascinating its exploring michael evil and how it effects people they've been doing that and how it can pass to others been did that a couple times in franchise like with Jaime interesting how evil overtakes some people while others are able to fight it or is unaffected by it one person can grow up in bad childhood and become a serial killer while someone else has similar or worst childhood and they're messed up but they don't snap and kill people lol this has bunch of what inspires those people too like some people that does bad things they cite their inspiration was a previous shooter or serial killer so would they have still did what they did if that person didn't do that would they still have did it maybe had a different inspiration lol always loved the psychology in the Halloween movies this has bunch of that kind of like in Halloween two rob zombies how trauma can make you go bad Corey doing like Laurie did in that one funny too people whine about how little Michael is in this one there's A old interview with moutshpha akkad and he said the less you have Michael in the movie the more effective he is lots of people disagree with that you hear that moytshpha you don't know what you talking about love the evil change shape thing you can apply that to real life and other horror movies especially like possession movies and I was watching different horror movies and so many similarities maybe that's cause this is same evil or comes from same source lol

The Corey character was interesting to me, although I wouldn't have told his story in the last film of a trilogy. Putting Michael in the car grinder at the end was also very satisfying. I get where people's complaints are coming from but I like that Ends did something different.
Yall are missing out by skipping over 4,5&6 if nothing more then having the knowledge of the whole story … Jamie is awesome in 4-5 and then you get Paul Rudd in 6 for that alone they are worth your watch 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Maybe they're saying Michael is just a piece of a bigger puzzle like the caretaker in original said about Michael killing his sister this kind of thing happens in every town evil is everywhere I've heard people say that about original that's same here revisits that idea everyone so worried about Michael obsessed with him but he's not the one driving the franchise its his evil the evil that drives him obviously like you said about Halloween kills they trying to be Halloween two without saying it this one is trying to be like Halloween three without saying it lol this kept my attention more than Halloween three did lol plus more Michael and Corey way better than any character in three and dam Alison still my favorite protagonist in this trilogy lol
First viewing of this in theaters I was bored. I was like "WTF Micheal is in the sewers and some random guy just kills him? We hardly saw him! What a ripoff!" Some people actually left the movie before it was over. (We stayed till the end). As I left the theater I felt ripped off. But later as I thought about it I realized I can't fall into the "season of the witch trap " Many people hated that movie ONLY because they EXPECTED Micheal and except for his bar tv cameo he's not in that one. Nevertheless "season of the witch" is a excellent movie once you accept the madman we all love isn't there. So with all that in mind I rewatched part 3 at home streaming...and this time i enjoyed it. The idea of someone who always gets the bad end of things slowly becoming a Myers of his own is a very interesting idea and his transformation was very well done. Now I have to say it doesn't suck as I did that night at the theater. It was just different and there is nothing wrong with different.
They were ok with Laurie cause she finally subdued Michael and maybe killed him before he went into the crusher and they all wanted to make sure he was dead
@@jacquelinecallejas1390 It was a little disappointing because Michael didn't show up until a little bit before the middle of the movie but overall it was good
I didn’t like the movie really because Micheal just died so easily he’s usually very hard to kill and wouldn’t die easily and the fact that he got tackled to the ground by a high schooler is crazy But I would love if they made another Halloween movie called Halloween lives.
This Is Still The Weakest Halloween Movie in This Trilogy, Michael went From Being Absolutely Unstoppable, To Be Getting beat up by a Wannabe Copycat Corey and Getting Killed In Such a Lackluster Way..

She did tho, she literally says she remembered it as they were talking while the opening credits played. Shes seen all 3 but didn't really remember any of it. Before I got into horror, I saw Halloween 4 and 5 and was so confused (though entertained) and I didn't remember anything at all from them.
I hate this movie so much! It’s… outrageous! It could’ve been interesting if some key parts were changed. 1. introduce Cory in a previous movie 2. Halloween kills was an epic movie with an epic finale. They killed Karen and Laurie was like… therapy? She was a cool grandma? Like how! She had an encounter in 1978 and couldn’t get past it for 40years but she had a whole town butchered, even her own daughter and somehow the trauma healed? To me it should’ve been the opposite. 3. The Halloween kills ending implying that Michael transcends. Like he’s not human. Then we saw him down the sewers. Ok, I’m fine by that I loved it. But he “passes” evil? Seriously? When Jamie in Halloween 4 attacked her mother, she had been through shit so getting violent was understandable. Now Michael saw through Cory’s eyes and that was it? Cory won a fight with Michael? The beast? Sorry but if Cory’s storyline had been previously introduced that’d be ok, maybe for the 4th movie not the end of the trilogy! But to me, they pooped on it.
Cause the town came together to do that to Michael and they might have thought he would come back and it's beta lot of year's that Michael has killed people in the town
Yeah agree! definitely a flop! If they were trying to do a spin off movie without Myers It be whatever but as the ending of a trilogy with everything built up this was just stupid smh
Movie recommendation for you to react to: ALIEN (1979), An incredible classic science fiction horror, with intense and unexpected moments, and which introduced one of the most interesting sci-fi franchises in cinema, you're going to love it
My biggest issue with this movie was they marketed it as the epic final battle between Laurie and Michael and yeah we got it but 2 hours into the movie. There was so many lines and Shots from the different tv spots and trailers that didn’t even make it into the Final Cut. Still mad about it. There’s some parts I like but it just feels like a drag until the last 20 minutes. Could’ve been way better if they just stuck to the Michael vs Laurie storyline and not try to “be different” in their last movie, if they wanted to be different they should of done 2018 ended that storyline with Laurie then after that started doing the “anthology” series with all the Cory stuff. Not the best Halloween Movie in my opinion.
This is probably one of my least favorites, but I can respect that they tried something new ( people are always bitching how they keep doing the same thing and never thinking of anything ) but I wasn’t here for impotent Michael for whole movie except the last 10 min. But I loved the last Laurie V Michael 🤷🏻♂️
It's a Flop and this movie earned that Flop. How do you go from Halloween 2018 which was like driving at full speed to Halloween Ends being a sudden stop. Michael Myers was Invincible in Halloween Kills. They basically said he was supernatural. We get to Ends and he is not even in his own franchise for more than ten minutes. This would be like having a Spider-Man movie with Spider-Man being in the film for only ten minutes. Who wants to see that? Would you want to watch the Conjuring with Ed and Loraine in the movie for two scenes. Allison got on my nerves this whole movie. Her attraction to Corey and her angrer towards Laurie was ridiculous.
I hope that in time people will come around to not hating this movie. Yes I admit it had flaws. They should have introduced Cory earlier or omitted that part of the story however I still liked it and felt awesome with the town finally getting to see this guy put down. I want Laurie to go visit Japan with the cop. She deserves to have peace while alive. I also honestly feel that had the lore been tweaked a little, this would have been excellent. I think Cory was slowly turning into Michael and when he grabbed the mask it weakened Michael further so upon killing Cory and regaining his mask Michael should have recharged and been his usual very big threat and had the final battle with Laurie shown that, it would have been great. I think I would have had Karen survive Kills and then it take the 3 Strode women to put him down for the last time , and THEN the car shredder to make him stay dead. Still at least 2018 was a masterpiece.
This movie was such a disappointment. I could care less about Corey. They made Michael too weak & died to easily. It didn’t feel like it even belonged in the trilogy. ☹️
Corey should have been introduced in Halloween 2018 and turn him into the new Michael Meyers over time. This movie was garbage. The dialogue was awkward at times… “you’re dead too!” Who tf says that.
An interesting idea that would’ve been more effective as the start of a new trilogy instead of the finale of a trilogy. I don’t hate it but I don’t like the movie it had some things I liked but when you make your horror icon pathetic who gets easily taken down after having him being a killing machine the previous movie makes the watch so hard.
This was a flop to me as well. I get what they were trying to do and I enjoy some of the scenes but I think it's executed very poorly. Also the misleading marketing is just a punch in the face for Halloween fans. It was the first movie in this trilogy I was actually very hyped for and I left the theatre very dissapointed. I don't think it's the worst in the franchise but the worst of the new trilogy for me. One thing that's been great about this movie and the entire new trilogy though is the soundtrack. I still listen to the music every few days because I love it so much.
The worst in the franchise is and will always be Resurrection. I don't think anything could change my mind. I think they'd have to do a movie where MM combs his hair for 2 hours to make a worse film and even that wouldn't make me rage as much as Resurrection. That being said I agree Ends was flawed. Just nowhere near AS flawed.
@@ScorpioRising13 yeah you can say that... halloween 6 was also confusing..I will not spoil the movie for them but still like what's the point of adding such a confusing paranormal cult twist
@@leedaley3404 by giving just an idea doesn't change anything...i didn't say what will happen or how it will end...I just gave a gist that too many movies gives in their trailer
I don't want to bag on this movie too much because it's too easy. You already pointed out some of the obvious flaws, and most of us feel the same. * Laurie's daughter was just killed in the last movie, she's now acting like Martha Stewart * Laurie in 2018 was pretty much Ripley from Aliens and now look at her, she's living happily in the same town where her daughter was killed and Myers was never caught, I'll repeat that, living in the same town... * Corey, had he been introduced in one of the previous movies, give him a little context, this movie might have made more sense * Corey near the end of the movie tells Laurie that if he can't have Allyson, then no one will, then sticks himself in the neck Those are some of the obvious flaws, there's plenty more. If their intent was to turn Corey into a killer for future movies, that would have made more sense, nope, kill him off, then Myers. The trailers for this movie, along with the poster art clearly imply something that it wasn't, why, because they knew it wouldn't sell. As a stand alone film, this is a decent movie, but contextually it made no sense. Even introducing Corey at the beginning of this movie to off the little rugrat, then have Michael kill Corey would have been better. I'll give the writers of this movie credit though, they tried something different and I'll leave it at that. Both of your reactions during the movie and final ratings are right on par with what most of us thought.
This movie was such a disappointment. The build up to what was supposed to be Laurie's and Michael's finale and having that turn into like a romantic horror featuring the introduction of a new main character felt so bizarre and out of nowhere. Especially coming out of Halloween Kills. The lack of Michael and Laurie just resulted in waiting for them to show up the whole time and being bored with the Corey and Alyson storyline. Michael randomly being old and decrepit with the emphasis on him now suddenly being seen as just a man was out of nowhere, literally ending Kills with him being the strongest yet after killing how many people. Laurie having a whole monologue at the end of Kills about how Michael isn't mortal, can't be killed with brute force, and transcending with every kill, just to come into this one with Michael withering away in a tunnel and getting his mask stolen by some kid like come on lol. There is such a disconnect between 2018 and Kills to this one and idk why, just a complete left turn
This is a terrible Halloween film, and an even worse ending of a trilogy. I think It would've been an interesting stand alone project, however, if you are following the story of "H 2018 and H Kills", this film feels really out of place. It's like all the characters from the previous entries are just added in just because David Gordon Green is contractually obligated to finish the trilogy. And I feel sorry for Andi Matichak. I think they screwed her over the most. "H 2018" was Laurie's film, "H Kills" was Michael's film, and I think "H Ends" should've been about her character and the aftermath of "Kills". Instead, she is relegated to "love interest" for a new main character.
It's a Flop and this movie earned that Flop. How do you go from Halloween 2018 which was like driving at full speed to Halloween Ends being a sudden stop. The town were relieved after Michael went in the crusher
I want to write that my name is Josh Tate and i'm writing that Halloween Ends will return to the streaming service Peacock in December 2023. I also want to write that i was reading online that there might not be a 14th Halloween film released in theatres until October 2025 or October 2026.
It’s crazy how many people hated this movie when it came out. I honestly wasn’t a fan of the first 2 in the remake series and I almost didn’t go to see this but I had amc a list so it was free. Left the movie thinking it was a great time and deep movie. And that’s coming from someone who didn’t care for this remake franchise at all
People forget Laurie in this timeline has the obsession with Michael. We still don’t know how he got free, we got a tease that she was there at his transfer and she did say she wish he’d get out😏 blame Laurie’s azzz
It was Dr. Sartain, who planned the crash to study Michael's movement and act in the wild, literally.
@@Good_Scarez they literally showed us that in 2018 idk why people still think it was Laurie😂if she did it she wouldn’t have went crazy once he escaped
Watch sinister it's great and there is a lot of jumpscares
Yeah, it is slow getting to the good part of the story, but that's because they had to set everything up related to Corey's story. But I found it all very creepy from the beginning. Let's not forget, the first Halloween was also very slow aside from the first kill.
2:44 he also killed the lil boy Lumpy in Halloween 2018
Hi Guys To Let You Know There's Gonna Be A Halloween TV Series Coming Get Ready !
Unpopular opinion: That kid in the beginning deserved it. (Taylor Swift's voice): You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
The fat guy isn’t Corey’s dad, it’s his STEP FATHER
If they made the film like the novel then the film would have been a lot better in my opinion.
Hell yeah and I love this movie but damn they might as well gone full novel mode
What novel? Was it written before the first movie or is this something written recently? Who is it by?
Evil/ the shape> Michael if you get this you know
The final Halloween
Do 4 5 6 as well I love you both
The final one in this trilogy!!! A tv show and new movie in 2024 from what I hear…
I felt high asf watching this one, well I was but still weird film😂
I will say even if Halloween 4,5,6 isn’t canon for this movie. they are a bit similar. I still believe though, that it's not canon and these movies are not popular along with Halloween ends. I feel like it will still give you a better understanding.
Yeah, this film pissed off both fans and critics and they didn't know what to make of it, whether it was a good ending or a bad ending to the franchise.
You forrgot Halloween reserection in your rank list 👍👉
What’s funny and make people extreme hypocrites is people say the first Halloween is a classic and it’s the best one. Which it is. But they give this movie shit cuz they explained how evil never dies it just takes a new form (Cory) and also people say oh Michael wasn’t in this movie that much. Michael was in the original movie a shorter amount of time than this. The first kill he did with mask on happened almost like 40min into the movie so it’s just funny to me when people say that’s why they don’t like the movie it’s kinda stupid tbh.
Can u guys do the scream tv series????!!!!!
Can you guys react to Halloween 4 and 5
Can you please react to th super mario bros. Movie
I love ur reactions and i would just love to see it on the super mario bros. Movie
Keep up the good work and please react to the super mario bros. Movie ❤❤❤
Please react to Halloween 4, 5 and 6 (The Thorn Trilogy Timeline)
Halloween 1 (78) then halloween 2 (81) then halloween 2018 and halloween kills then halloween h20
Team Corey muthaa fuckazzz 😈
Michael was his mentor and Corey his student and Corey was angry and had evil in him like Michael cause he was angry a lot cause he was bullied
They were ok with Laurie cause she finally subdued Michael and maybe killed him before he went into the crusher and they all wanted to make sure he was dead
I saw it in theaters
Did that make it better or worse for you? BTW I am in the camp that thinks Ends wasn't great but still liked it.

What has Alison got to do with Michael from another film do you mean you did not like Alison liking Corey cause Corey was like Michael
Poor James Jaime and her stunt person were bruised all over after this kitchen scene and worn out people complaining why they just fighting at the end the whole movie should have been them fighting dam imagine the shape they'd be if they did that just after this one scene they're bruised and worn out imagine how'd they be if it was whole movie I always thought Michael was like one of those cursed objects in the Warren museum Michael is regular dude but the evil in him is the supernatural edge and can affect others just like those curse objects and they don't destroy those objects cause it releases the evil just like it should with Michael lol Michael knows how to drive but not how to use blow torch he knows how to answer cell phone but not blow torch lol they mention Laurie got help she was obsessed for so long thought it was all about her lost her daughter due to this obsession and she said you can't beat evil with brute strength funny she does in this one but leading into beginning of this one its been a time jump other two back to back the town got to see him executed how did that help the town cause then they knew he's dead they didn't know otherwise no closure Laurie tried to get closure its been four years she's already been obsessed for forty years costed her everything and there's A deleted scene in twenty eighteen one where she was going to be committing s if wasn't for podcasters she was in rough shape she was heading down same road they tried to find him couldn't so then what do what she did in twenty eighteen wait for whenever he comes back if he comes back she already wasted so much of her life I don't blame her for trying to put it behind her just like I Dont blame Corey for being so thirsty for Alison he'll yeah this one is a pop for me lol
Had Denise already seen this? I can’t buy her not having a reaction to the beginning
She did tho, she literally says she remembered it as they were talking while the opening credits played. Shes seen all 3 but didn't really remember any of it. Before I got into horror, I saw Halloween 4 and 5 and was so confused (though entertained) and I didn't remember anything at all from them.
@@JessieDee13 oh ok I missed that. Was wondering how she didn’t have an omg reaction
I hate this movie so much! It’s… outrageous! It could’ve been interesting if some key parts were changed. 1. introduce Cory in a previous movie
Not enough Michael, don't like Corey, am okay with the ending.
A movie to react to is “ma0
I hate this movie. I literally try to act like it doesn't exist, such a disappointing conclusion to this trilogy.
He was still very old even when he put on the mask from Corey it made sense that he was not his old self
This movie was such a disappointment. I could care less about Corey. They made Michael too weak & died to easily. It didn’t feel like it even belonged in the trilogy. ☹️
Awful.
It was the most boring and worst movie of halloween till date after resurrection 🙄🙄🙄except the last fight
No need to react on Halloween 3... It is not related with Michael Myers..it is definitely out of the concept...so just react on halloween 4,5 and 6

@@BorenyaRSaikia Halloween 6 isn’t confusing, it’s just stupid.
I don't want to bag on this movie too much because it's too easy. You already pointed out some of the obvious flaws, and most of us feel the same.
* Laurie's daughter was just killed in the last movie, she's now acting like Martha Stewart
* Laurie in 2018 was pretty much Ripley from Aliens and now look at her, she's living happily in the same town where her daughter was killed and Myers was never caught, I'll repeat that, living in the same town...
* Corey, had he been introduced in one of the previous movies, give him a little context, this movie might have made more sense
* Corey near the end of the movie tells Laurie that if he can't have Allyson, then no one will, then sticks himself in the neck
Those are some of the obvious flaws, there's plenty more.
Double flop!
I agree I was disappointed by all that as well, that we had to watch boring Cory rather than Laurie and Michael.
I meant annoying Corey.
I love that this movie made all the infantile Halloween fans (with bad taste) cry. It makes me love it even more.
@@ScorpioRising13 well at least someone liked it I guess lol
other than RZ H2,this movie was the worst in the franchise......dumpster fire!!
I'm sure your brain is just protecting you by making you forget the existence of Resurrection, because that is even worse than Rz H2
