I listened this song since it came out but never comment anything (didn't feel like it) But now I have something to say about this awesome song! This song is one of the best about the Cyberpunk games, and genre as a whole. How talks about the degradation of the self and this "I don't care anymore" style of life, how people live "style over substance" (buying pretty things like shinny augments and designer clothes but eating junk food and sleeping in the back of a car). How people talk about "democracy" but never think about how they being tricked into this false sense of "security" and "freedom". The propaganda, the "pride of the nation" (nationalism). How they live enslaved to a minimum salary while politicians eat away the money and blame the poor and downtrodden. How they promise with lies a "better tomorrow" for the masses, built in their sweat and broken bones (see what I did there? :P). Some realize this, the so-called "cyberpunks", and fight for a better tomorrow the way they can. Some, doing´ in the process a long-lasting change in history. And others a cathartic vengeance against this machine and everything in the way, in the worst case. So I say: FUCK YOUR KINGDOM AND FUCK YOUR REIGN I DON'T WANT TO BE A PART OF YOUR WAY FUCK YOUR STAGNATION FUCK YOUR DECAY FUCK YOUR DAMNATION THAT TURNS US INTO SLAVES These lines talk about so much in a "simple" way. You don't need to say everything, people already know what is wrong, that's why I think It's so good. Reminds me of Rage Against The Machine and their style of writing. "A right to choose A right to feel Don't mean a thing Unless they're coming from your mind" The "political" weigh of the song about a game, and the way we can see its reflection in our reality, it truly something special. Love and respect from Argentina.
