GOOD question! In total honesty, I didn’t have much guidance or a peer group with similar goals to feel a rush to take the exam. Always did have an inclination to go for it but somehow always ended up postponing it. And half the time I also doubted whether it would be worth the risk. One of the reasons I went for sharing my journey on youtube is because I figured there must be people like me, who in their medical college are not exposed to real guidance regarding MLE :)
@@MuskanGupta-es1cu hi :) , yes I have seen them and they’re indeed good sources of guidance and support. Many other blog forums out there as well with similar goals. In my opinion though, nothing beats having an actual peer group around to be candid with about routine problems & doubts. Thanks for sharing and watching the video :) much love!

Wandering Soul. That's what you are. (Excuse me for passing the judgement). Soul journeys are too "BUMPY". Who knows even after achieving what we intend to, will we find peace or the journey will just be the journey. Anyways best wishes to your MLE pursuit.
Awesome views! Not just praising usmle like others do. If you r going to us for the money, please do a reality check and ask an ATTENDING or a Fellow ( not even a resident) about finances and difficulties. Don't believe in sugercoated misinformation. Love this view btw
Is it convenient to do USMLE after post graduation in india in a subject of choice? Does having post graduation degree help to match in the same program after MLE exam in US? I heard IMGs generally get primary care subjects like internal med, family med, emergency med, paeds after MLE, but i want to do PG in dermat here in india and try for MLE
It’s not an absolute advantage I’d say but yes in terms of preparation time & confidence & also your expertise, your chances do increase since you are more secure and confident after PG. For matching in derma or surgery though, chances still remain low even after pg since most positions are filled by non imgs only. However it certainly shouldn’t stop you from trying. Many imgs also do get matches despite all this
Planning to make a video on this very soon. The importance of cv is sometimes ignored by imgs and they focus more on marks, so cv building is an understated gem here. Will be posting strategies soon
I have question If I am an Indian MBBS student, preparing for USMLE. If I feel like returning to India, is it better/important that I get a PG degree in India first?
Di if we did mbbs from normal college still we can go for usmle like is it important to be in prestigious college like aiims mamc lhmc ? Any govt college in india is acceptable ?
Great video, As NEXT is implemented in India by NMC where NEXT 2 must be taken after 1 year of internship . So, will it be possible to take break in internship to do electives in usa?
@@MansiSingal You know Manik madan he was preparing for usmle only still he got 4k in one of the neet exam, usmle steps is ur advantage so only All the best 👍
I have a 2 years gap for preparing for NEET PG, will be joining residency in surgery this year. Though I did JRship for 4 months in between. Will these gap years affect my chances of matching if I plan now to prepare for MLE with or after residency?
Hello ma'am I have completed pg in paediatrics from India . I want to take USMLE and want to work in USA. Is this possible that at this stage I can crack usmle and residency match. I am already 33 year old.
Create a cost benefit analysis. You are way ahead in India. Already an MD. Usmle is a cruel 3-4 yrs journey with very SUBJECTIVE counselling system. There is a 46-47% chance that after all these, u won't get anything. Do a serious analysis over 1-2 months and then decide. DON'T GO THERE FOR THE MONEY.
Mansi whether it is possible for a student from normal government colleges to crack usmle?? Whether we need to join any coaching seperately?? How you are preparing??

Yes
Yes bhai.... 16-17 lakh waste if u attempted and you couldn't grab
Bhai risk tho lena padhega
Agar nikal gye tho 3cr se upar ki salary

Risk hai tho ishq h....
@@deveshgupta3627 3cr above yes..but u have to consider their high tax + insurance u need to take + rent and living expense.

Do u pay the tuition fees for the university while doing pg in the US ?? If yes,how much it would be (roughly) please reply mam......🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
