great cover i'm impressed, i have listen to Van-Halen since 1978 and it's my favorite band with classic Yes and really had the tone and the playing.thanks for sharing
next to," im the one", this piece gave me the most trouble, timing is out the window, you play by the seat of your pants and try like hell. great job man. Hey, can i make $ putting this kind of stuff up?
Wow. Just wow! That's about all I've got. This has got to be the best cover of this song I have ever seen... and on the Tube. Bro... you absolutely CRUSHED this one. Amazing talent, and amazing vid. Congrats for being the player you are. And keep on rockin' !
Amazing cover played on a legendary Shark!! leads on the left side, just like on the original 1978 VH1, great work The only question i have, where did you find this On Fire backing track?
Remember when EVH was a band member and rock song writer? Remember when all the EVH magic orbited around a great rhythmic riff? Remember when Eddie was Eddie and not “Edward” as the way over the top fanboys just had to create this demigod myth that made sure he was treated as an equal to Bach? I, like so many others, got hit in the ears and the gut by VH’s sizzling debut. I knew instantly what he meant to music and, technically, to guitar playing. I gave him all the respect he deserved. With each subsequent album and chronic band shakeups, it became clear that Eddie has very real personal issues which resulted in him crawling into his own head and, sometimes up his own ass. So few can see Eddie for what he was (which was a rare and great thing) but the myth making didn’t elevate him. In fact, it weighed him down and impaired his raw creativity until he became the opposite of prolific, the opposite of a band member and the opposite of “organic” until he was recording and reassembling his work from moments of magic … resulting in far too much Cloistered Edward, The Brilliant and far too little of In-The-Moment Atomic Eddie, Rock ‘n Roller. All this is my opinion - and it’s certainly not mainstream but, FWIW, I do know the difference between Rockers and Rock Gods and I will die on the hill of “The Truly Great Are Both!”
