Hi Jeremy. I have an image of a wall with a sign. I would like to put a text on that sign. But it is in perspective, and i can't find any tutorials on that! Can you help? The perspective tool doesn't do the work! :/
@@andreschin Try using 3d effect in illustrator. Go to effect > 3D > Extruide/bevel. You could also skew the text to try and fit it with the sign or I would do it in photosohp.
@@JeremyMuradesign I was not clear sorry. do you just lock the photo on the art board or do you lock each step you do using the short cut CTRL 2. I am a real beginner here. Thank you so much. Your tutorial was really helpful for me.
@@annielimogespainting5524 It's just a fast way to lock images or objects while I'm working so I dont' accIdentally select something. You could instead create a separate layer and lock the layer hat's another way. To UNLOCK you just press CTRL + SHIFT +2 for PC if mac use CMD/OPT.

It's called Nickainely - free font.
When you said you locked something using the CTRL 2, did you do that after tool you you used?
No that is a default shortcut in AI :)

What was the need for art board then ?
For the sizing so you can save it out as a thumbnail for youtube or for your website after on.
