neither of them are pronouncing the name right
As per Maggie, Capcom preferred they go with the way it was pronounced in the game rather than the actual correct pronunciation (Dimitrescu is Romanian so you pronounce it the way you see it). It's why they didn't have accents in the game despite being set in Eastern Europe, Capcom decided not to go with it (which was better because accents are very hit or miss).
@@cainyourkids agree with the accents, but (to me personally) wrong pronunciations to that extent, especially names (may or may not have personal experience with having my name said wrong constantly lol), is a hard miss 😅
Someone needs to ask the voice actress of Dimitrescu to record herself saying "Markiplier" like how she says Ethan Winters in the game.
Also I don't blame him, when I played the game and saw her. I questioned if I was even straight anymore.
