Though I love cruising, A LOT, I would NOT like to retire on a cruise. Cruising is a very special event to me. Time with my friends, family and neighbors is too important to abandon them for a perpetual retirement cruise. Besides, cruising wouldn't be special anymore if I was always on a ship. JMO. ☮

Fun video as always but right off the bat I see that there is something YOU don't know. The Queen Mary 2 is not a cruise ship, it's an ocean liner, and yes there's a difference. I'll let you look that up but you hit on one of the main points. O ocean liners are designed differently than cruise ships and are capable of hitting speeds as high as 30 knots whereas a cruise ship generally does 20 to 22 knots. Ocean liners are used as a luxurious forms of transportation from London to New York and New York to London where as cruise ships do round trip itineraries to various ports.
Meanwhile I didn't know till just now that Titanic parts were still floating around. 🤯🤯🤯
And yes, Jack would've fit on the door.

@@TravelDetours I have faith in you. Have you done any behind the scenes tours on any ships? I did the Carnival Fantasy in 2019 and to this day one of the best excursions I've ever done.

@kennywalker4091 not as of yet, only saw one offering it and not sure if they would allow me to record. Next one we go on I will try to connect more with ship people and ask more questions

@@TravelDetours Most behind the scene tours do not allow photography or video of any kind, but you can take notes. It's utterly fascinating! I'm constantly trying to learn new stuff. I'll study the heck out of a port before we arrive, then read up again in it after we leave. I try to learn everything about the ship as well. Can't get enough!
