It's kim sol for sure . His mother's death was ruled an accident and this explains his modus operandi , making the killings look like accidents. He is seeking revenge on the village people for failing to protect the mountain/their village and his mother.

Kim Sol is the mastermind and main killer. Kim Woong Soon is his accomplice. Ending is the two of them got arrested. Both Hyun Jo and Yi Gang survive and Hyun Jo goes back to being a ranger at Jirisan climbing mountain, Yi Gang stay at the ranger station/office too. Our two lead characters will continue to be the guardians of the mountain 🏔️
My guess would be Kim Sol was the killer and his helper was wongsoon. They met on the mountain in next ep, and one of them, it could be kim sol, who planned on killing yigang. But wongsoon might disagree with it. Then they have an argument. One of them got killed. If it was someone else 😂 Then my prediction goes to dr yoon su jin. She knows a lot on ecological system of jirisan. Seems like the killer was someone who are not afraid of snakes like in last ep and someone who can distract choi il nam thru snakes. I think the killer is Kim Sol. He has the most reasons and motive to do it. As a revenge to the cable car team and to the whole village that left his family alone, that (in his thought as a child) lead his father to do suicide. That's why the killer could make the same sign as hyun jo did, because yi gang and hyun jo told him about it and he also study it. The police officer might already knew about him, that's why he's investigating it secretly because Kim Sol is his childhood friend. And maybe, Dae Jin also had a suspicion towards Kim Sol, that's why he's also investigating it secretly (and maybe try to protect Kim Sol) because he feels guilty towards him because of his parents death. Hyun Jo keep informing Kim Sol about what he finds regarding the killer, that's why he's able to set a trap that would kill Hyun Jo and Yi gang on that day. I think hyun jo will not gonna die (pray to the lord, don't let him die 🥺😭), his spirit just weakened because he try to communicate with Yi gang. Hyun Jo will go back to his body once the killer is found and Yi gang will finally tell him the thing that she wants to tell the whole time (I think, it's that her grandma's death is not hyun jo faults).

I still think the culprit is Kim Sol. The person who eavesdropped Yi Gang and Hyun Jo is similar to him. He has all the motive to do it. I think Woong Soon's father who put the animal into the well and cause Kim Sol's mother's accident, because of settlement money. So Kim Sol took revenge. To all the village people that abandoned his father. I think the ending Hyun Jo will regain conciousness and recover. And him and Yi Gang still be rangers, with Hyun Jo helped the still paralyzed Yi Gang. Well at least that's the ending I want 😁.
Oh, and by the way this is the best bts so far, it shows how complicated to shoot this drama. The cast have to run, fall, drown, you need special studios with professionals etc. And people wonder about the budget.

My guess for the killers: year 1991, few villagers actually plotted the kidnap of the mayor’s wife and then the ghost lights which drove the mayor to his suicide, for blocking the cable car development deal. Then those kids (Sol, Yang Sun, Se Wook, Woon Soon, Hyeong Su) took revenge of those villagers when they grew up. For the ending, I think Yigang survived from the killer (the mastermind), Hyunjo probably just opened his eyes and is once again able to breathe in his own and we can deduce that he will wake up one fine day. Note: not my ideal ending but just writing to win the prize haha … Ideal ending is Hyunjo wakes up, Yigang is able to stand up and they live happily after at Mount Jirisan 🥰🥰🥰🥰
For me, Kim Sol is one of the killers but the one behind it is Jo Dae Jin. It is because the culprit of 1995 flood accident has not yet been revealed. Jo Dae Jin was already a young ranger at that time, so maybe he has something to do with it. But I don't know what his motive is. For the ending, I'm positive that Yi gang and Hyun jo will be alive. They will live happily ever after in Mount Jiri. I really like happy ending please.
The culprit is Kim Sol. He got the reason to kill people. He just pretend to be innocent because he knows Hyunjo investigating the killer. That’s why when he almost got caught by Hyun jo, he play dumb. Sol hold grudge toward the villager that seem does not agree with his father to protect the village. Woong soon is helping him. At the end, Hyunjo will open his eyes once the culprit are caught. Yi kang told hyunjo what she not able to tell him before.. I hope so.
For me, is either Kim Sol or dr. Yoon Soo-Jin. Actually, the one I am suspicious of the most is the ex-chief, because the black gloves person, already can be seen at the black bridge village death accident before the villagers were relocated, and in that year both Kim Sol and dr. Yoon were still a kid, but the bus accident made me scratch his name because he knew that Yang Geun-Tak was undergoing surgery and not riding the bus. So, maybe the serial killing events in 2018 were the continuation of one of the black bridge villager's death, but it's a different person, so somehow both preparator are connected For the ending, I assume that Hyun-Jo will wake up and return as a ranger again who will be active running on the mountain, while Yi-Gang is still a ranger too but only working at the office OR because she already saw Hyun-Jo spirit form, she will die and replacing Hyun-Jo on the mountain, and Hyun-Jo will be the one who will interprets her clue about what happens on the mountain, also somehow she will led the ranger or the people who lost while hiking on the mountain. I hope there's an explanation about who was banging the female dorm's door when Yi-Gang inside the room (ep.4)

I think both Kim sol and Woong soon are the culprits. They could have done it together. Otherwise the killer won't have the chance to escape every time.
Ngl ever since the moment kim sol appeared, I already suspected his character is going to play something later on, and as the episode passes by, he started to fit to the killer's criteria. He knows the signal that only yigang and hyunjo supposed to know. Not to mention, he, himself, has been very interested to the mountain, physically or spiritually. He appears at such unexpected moment and more importantly, he's a native from black bridge village where everything started. Also saw some hint that he have the exact mole particularly on the lower part of his right(?) ear, and is wearing the same watch as the person hyunjo seen on his visions. Woosoong, on the other side could be either an accomplice or he's conducting an investigation himself. Nevertheless, I just want hyunjo to wake up and for yigang to regain her strength then both of them will keep the mountain safe, like they always used to. They're always and forever be the needle and thread duo of jirisan. p.s. I hope they'll able to find yangsun at the end ;(
This killer is still a mystery until now, yes we’re suspecting Corporal Kim now but i believe that he’s not the main killer but only an accomplice. This main killer also knows everything about the mountain, community and rangers. The main killer has a motive because his mother dies and his father commited suicide. Hyun-jo trust the killer so much in the latest episode that hyun-jo tells everything to him (and will betray him in the end that make him comatose). Also, that day on the black bridge village, hyun-jo saw this man and i believe that he was there because he’s the one who texted the old lady to go there, but he’s just prepared to present an alibi to hyun-jo that’s why he’s not suspicious. And this killer is the kid from the flashbacks who saw his father comitted suicide, the main killer is KIM SOL… We’re near to the last two episodes 😢 the ending i want was - the revealed story of the black bridge village because there’s still a hidden story why Kim Sol was killing the people related to the cable car issue. (Like maybe they’re killing each other or kim sol’s parents) - I was also hoping that Yang-sun is alive somewhere because she doesn’t deserve to die 🥺 -I know that hyun-jo will be alive because he is a fighter! Please let him live, he need to save more people along with Yi-gang and other rangers. -I JUST WANT A HAPPY ENDING FOR THE RANGERS I LOVE THEM VERY MUCH That’s all 🥺
One thing for sure is, the killer knows too well about the mountain and know his way around the mountain, and know what the regular hikers/ villagers usually do at the mountain. So my guess the prime suspect will be Kim Sol, and the other 2 mentioned below might just be his accomplices. - Kim Sol: because he was raised in Black Bridge village, also he’s a ranger and he definitely knows too well about the mountain. He might kill the villagers just to have revenge for his parents and for disagreeing with his father’s decision to protect the village. - Woong Soon (corporal Kim): might just be the killer’s accomplice in terms of hiding data and false reports (usually clarifying them only as accidents instead of crime reports) - Dr. Yoon Soojin: as her character is a researcher of animals and nature and based from the snake scene from episode 13 (where the killer had placed the snake while stalking Yigang), so she may or may not be one of the accomplices too. Another possible clue is where Hyunjo stumbled upon Kim Sol at the Partisans cave (the same ep when they got paged for the rock falling accident), there were also some things (assumed those things belong to the victims) shown during Yigang & Hyunjo in the cave hiding from the bears, but those things were gone when Hyunjo tried to find them. Not sure either Kim Sol or Woong Soon cleared all those up though.
Ending wish: for Yigang, i want her to leave just like what Hyunjo told her. If she does, i hope she will leave earlier before the killer arrives (in case if the killer is at the station or somewhere near her). So she will be safe. Wish she can catch the real culprit with the help of Haejin, Gooyoung, Ilhae and possibly other rangers too. When it’s all over and the culprit finally get caught, hopefully she will visits Hyunjo at the hospital and tell everything that she wanted to tell him before, when Hyunjo regains full consciousness and in a better state. For Hyunjo, i hope the health care workers are aware of the ‘flat lines’ and able to bring him back to life so that he can meet Yigang as he has been waiting for her and desperately wanted to talk to her. Hopefully they can reunite in real life (not as ghost Hyunjo) with Yigang waiting outside of Hyunjo’s room when he wakes up, and they finally letting out all the unsaid things & feelings back when they were being apart from each other. So then they both will be comfortable again with each other and maybe have another happy moments together as the happy ending of the show. For Gooyoung, i hope other rangers and him able to find Yangsun, or Yangsun can make a ‘surprise! I’m back!’ to Gooyoung after she recovered, perhaps? Then catching up with what had happened to her, have a deep talks before continue living in their happy/ romantic relationship bubble. As for other rangers, I want them to help Yigang and Hyunjo to find and catch the real culprit. So then they can live their ‘happily relax without anymore criminal’ life. Generally i just want this show to have a happy ending, us viewers really deserve it as we’ve been through many unbearable pain and heartbreaks throughout all the episodes lol. Especially Yigang & Hyunjo, they really deserve happy ending since they both have been through a lot.

He manipulated everything 😡 and I think kim woongsung just want to find out the mystery behind all of this and collect all the evidences secretly that kim sol is the killer,, the ending is kim sol is being arrested and hyunjo come back alive and rangers live happily after that and still keep going with their work as rangers who help others in mountain☺️
I think kim woong soon is the killer and hyunju may be getting severe until the last episode and then he may be getting normal miracally in last episode and yigang and hyunju will finish their duty succesfully as rangers while highlighting the valuable of the responsible rangers careerer.💜this is my opinion
I think the killer is both of them; Kim Sol and Woong Soon. They may collaborate to kill Black Bridge Village's resident. In my perspective, Kim Sol would take revenge to the resident because of his dad's suicide after so many tragedy happened. In another side, Woon Soon avenge his father to the resident to get money from the project. So, both of them collaborate to kill the resident. That's my perspective.
The killer and mastermind is Kim Sol, who is wreaking vengeance on the ex-residents of Black Bridge village who sabotaged the village and caused the deaths of his parents and Lee Se-wook's father, as well as on Yang Geun-tak whose cable car plans started the whole tragedy. Yi--gang and Hyun-jo will finally identify the killer and stop him in time, which will finally allow Hyun-jo's spirit to be free and return back to his physical body. I hope to see both of them recuperate and recover, and continue to protect the mountain they both love. Oh, and please let them go on a date at Sonbawi Rock in the closing scene, bringing them full circle back to Ep1, when Yi-gang scoffed at the couple who went on a hiking date there.

I think Kim Sol, Woong soon and Se Wook are the culprit. They had to kill Se Wook since his involvement had been known and they can't compromised the fact. I think these 3 people were suffered the most when they were young. Kim Sol had to live with relative and the experienced might not be good for him. Se Wook lost her dad and end up living with yang-sun grandfather and never really had any close friend and family. As for woong soon, I think his parents might face financial problem. In ep.14 Woong Soon had to cancel hiking up the mountain because he had other things to do and we can see he went to visit someone in nursing home. And for ep.15 preview, is that yang-sun grandfather in some sort of hospital? And who is the lady with cancer? I am glad that my prediction the killers are none of Yi-gang team was true... hopefully Hyun jo will regain his consciousness and help Yi Gang to build back her life. After all, she lost all of her family and if Hyun Jo died... i think that was too much for her to handle. To me Yi Gang character needs that peace and some happiness.

So that making him lose his mother and father. Kim Sol's mother and Se Wook's father were killed by Kim Sol's father because Kim Sol's mother had an affair with Se Wook's father. Kim sol's father who keeps animal carcasses in the well, and made ghost light, so that the villagers go and not investigate the deaths of his wife and se wook's father and then he hanged oneself because his problem. But little kim sol thought differently, the departure of the villagers and Ya Gen Tak cable car problem, it was caused her mother to die and her father to commit suicide. Kim sol was injured and she became the perpetrator of revenge against the people who left the village and Ya gen tak cable car. Meanwhile, Hyun jo and Yi Gang are only targeted because they know something. Ending Hyunjo will wake up after yi gang catches the culprit, then he will always be side yi gang, because hyun jo knows and cares about yi gang who is alone without a family, and also likes her, as well as yi gang also needs hyun jo who always cares with all his heart . Hyun jo will take care of yi gang until she can walk again, and they end up being a solid and responsible ranger with their comrades. I think the killer is Kim Sol. He's been very suspicious. I think hes trying to kill everyone who left the village because of the trauma he experienced when he witness the death of his father. I think he's blaming the people who left the village for the death of his parents. And lastly, I believe that Kim woon soong is investigating the case and trying to uncover the killer. Yi gang will catch the killer and Hyunjoo will be able to go back and continue his life as a park ranger. 💪

the casts and staffs are really great. i mean, you could see it just by how they were able to create those serious scenes in a light and fun set.

My guess for the killers: year 1991, few villagers actually plotted the kidnap of the mayor’s wife and then the ghost lights which drove the mayor to his suicide, for blocking the cable car development deal. Then those kids (Sol, Yang Sun, Se Wook, Woon Soon, Hyeong Su) took revenge of those villagers when they grew up.
For the ending, I think Yigang survived from the killer (the mastermind), Hyunjo probably just opened his eyes and is once again able to breathe in his own and we can deduce that he will wake up one fine day. Note: not my ideal ending but just writing to win the prize haha …
Ideal ending is Hyunjo wakes up, Yigang is able to stand up and they live happily after at Mount Jirisan 🥰🥰🥰🥰

For me, Kim Sol is one of the killers but the one behind it is Jo Dae Jin. It is because the culprit of 1995 flood accident has not yet been revealed. Jo Dae Jin was already a young ranger at that time, so maybe he has something to do with it. But I don't know what his motive is. For the ending, I'm positive that Yi gang and Hyun jo will be alive. They will live happily ever after in Mount Jiri. I really like happy ending please.

The culprit is Kim Sol. He got the reason to kill people. He just pretend to be innocent because he knows Hyunjo investigating the killer. That’s why when he almost got caught by Hyun jo, he play dumb. Sol hold grudge toward the villager that seem does not agree with his father to protect the village. Woong soon is helping him.
At the end, Hyunjo will open his eyes once the culprit are caught. Yi kang told hyunjo what she not able to tell him before.. I hope so.
For me, is either Kim Sol or dr. Yoon Soo-Jin. Actually, the one I am suspicious of the most is the ex-chief, because the black gloves person, already can be seen at the black bridge village death accident before the villagers were relocated, and in that year both Kim Sol and dr. Yoon were still a kid, but the bus accident made me scratch his name because he knew that Yang Geun-Tak was undergoing surgery and not riding the bus. So, maybe the serial killing events in 2018 were the continuation of one of the black bridge villager's death, but it's a different person, so somehow both preparator are connected
For the ending, I assume that Hyun-Jo will wake up and return as a ranger again who will be active running on the mountain, while Yi-Gang is still a ranger too but only working at the office OR because she already saw Hyun-Jo spirit form, she will die and replacing Hyun-Jo on the mountain, and Hyun-Jo will be the one who will interprets her clue about what happens on the mountain, also somehow she will led the ranger or the people who lost while hiking on the mountain.

Ngl ever since the moment kim sol appeared, I already suspected his character is going to play something later on, and as the episode passes by, he started to fit to the killer's criteria. He knows the signal that only yigang and hyunjo supposed to know. Not to mention, he, himself, has been very interested to the mountain, physically or spiritually. He appears at such unexpected moment and more importantly, he's a native from black bridge village where everything started. Also saw some hint that he have the exact mole particularly on the lower part of his right(?) ear, and is wearing the same watch as the person hyunjo seen on his visions. Woosoong, on the other side could be either an accomplice or he's conducting an investigation himself. Nevertheless, I just want hyunjo to wake up and for yigang to regain her strength then both of them will keep the mountain safe, like they always used to. They're always and forever be the needle and thread duo of jirisan.
p.s. I hope they'll able to find yangsun at the end ;(
This killer is still a mystery until now, yes we’re suspecting Corporal Kim now but i believe that he’s not the main killer but only an accomplice. This main killer also knows everything about the mountain, community and rangers. The main killer has a motive because his mother dies and his father commited suicide. Hyun-jo trust the killer so much in the latest episode that hyun-jo tells everything to him (and will betray him in the end that make him comatose). Also, that day on the black bridge village, hyun-jo saw this man and i believe that he was there because he’s the one who texted the old lady to go there, but he’s just prepared to present an alibi to hyun-jo that’s why he’s not suspicious.
And this killer is the kid from the flashbacks who saw his father comitted suicide, the main killer is KIM SOL…
We’re near to the last two episodes 😢 the ending i want was
- the revealed story of the black bridge village because there’s still a hidden story why Kim Sol was killing the people related to the cable car issue. (Like maybe they’re killing each other or kim sol’s parents)
- I was also hoping that Yang-sun is alive somewhere because she doesn’t deserve to die 🥺
-I know that hyun-jo will be alive because he is a fighter! Please let him live, he need to save more people along with Yi-gang and other rangers.
-I JUST WANT A HAPPY ENDING FOR THE RANGERS I LOVE THEM VERY MUCH

One thing for sure is, the killer knows too well about the mountain and know his way around the mountain, and know what the regular hikers/ villagers usually do at the mountain. So my guess the prime suspect will be Kim Sol, and the other 2 mentioned below might just be his accomplices.
- Kim Sol: because he was raised in Black Bridge village, also he’s a ranger and he definitely knows too well about the mountain. He might kill the villagers just to have revenge for his parents and for disagreeing with his father’s decision to protect the village.
- Woong Soon (corporal Kim): might just be the killer’s accomplice in terms of hiding data and false reports (usually clarifying them only as accidents instead of crime reports)
- Dr. Yoon Soojin: as her character is a researcher of animals and nature and based from the snake scene from episode 13 (where the killer had placed the snake while stalking Yigang), so she may or may not be one of the accomplices too.
Another possible clue is where Hyunjo stumbled upon Kim Sol at the Partisans cave (the same ep when they got paged for the rock falling accident), there were also some things (assumed those things belong to the victims) shown during Yigang & Hyunjo in the cave hiding from the bears, but those things were gone when Hyunjo tried to find them. Not sure either Kim Sol or Woong Soon cleared all those up though.
Ending wish: for Yigang, i want her to leave just like what Hyunjo told her. If she does, i hope she will leave earlier before the killer arrives (in case if the killer is at the station or somewhere near her). So she will be safe. Wish she can catch the real culprit with the help of Haejin, Gooyoung, Ilhae and possibly other rangers too. When it’s all over and the culprit finally get caught, hopefully she will visits Hyunjo at the hospital and tell everything that she wanted to tell him before, when Hyunjo regains full consciousness and in a better state.
For Hyunjo, i hope the health care workers are aware of the ‘flat lines’ and able to bring him back to life so that he can meet Yigang as he has been waiting for her and desperately wanted to talk to her. Hopefully they can reunite in real life (not as ghost Hyunjo) with Yigang waiting outside of Hyunjo’s room when he wakes up, and they finally letting out all the unsaid things & feelings back when they were being apart from each other. So then they both will be comfortable again with each other and maybe have another happy moments together as the happy ending of the show.
For Gooyoung, i hope other rangers and him able to find Yangsun, or Yangsun can make a ‘surprise! I’m back!’ to Gooyoung after she recovered, perhaps? Then catching up with what had happened to her, have a deep talks before continue living in their happy/ romantic relationship bubble.
As for other rangers, I want them to help Yigang and Hyunjo to find and catch the real culprit. So then they can live their ‘happily relax without anymore criminal’ life.
Generally i just want this show to have a happy ending, us viewers really deserve it as we’ve been through many unbearable pain and heartbreaks throughout all the episodes lol. Especially Yigang & Hyunjo, they really deserve happy ending since they both have been through a lot.

He manipulated everything 😡 and I think kim woongsung just want to find out the mystery behind all of this and collect all the evidences secretly that kim sol is the killer,, the ending is kim sol is being arrested and hyunjo come back alive and rangers live happily after that and still keep going with their work as rangers who help others in mountain☺️
I think kim woong soon is the killer and hyunju may be getting severe until the last episode and then he may be getting normal miracally in last episode and yigang and hyunju will finish their duty succesfully as rangers while highlighting the valuable of the responsible rangers careerer.💜this is my opinion
I think the killer is both of them; Kim Sol and Woong Soon. They may collaborate to kill Black Bridge Village's resident.
In my perspective, Kim Sol would take revenge to the resident because of his dad's suicide after so many tragedy happened. In another side, Woon Soon avenge his father to the resident to get money from the project.
So, both of them collaborate to kill the resident. That's my perspective.

The killer and mastermind is Kim Sol, who is wreaking vengeance on the ex-residents of Black Bridge village who sabotaged the village and caused the deaths of his parents and Lee Se-wook's father, as well as on Yang Geun-tak whose cable car plans started the whole tragedy.
Yi--gang and Hyun-jo will finally identify the killer and stop him in time, which will finally allow Hyun-jo's spirit to be free and return back to his physical body. I hope to see both of them recuperate and recover, and continue to protect the mountain they both love. Oh, and please let them go on a date at Sonbawi Rock in the closing scene, bringing them full circle back to Ep1, when Yi-gang scoffed at the couple who went on a hiking date there.

I think Kim Sol, Woong soon and Se Wook are the culprit. They had to kill Se Wook since his involvement had been known and they can't compromised the fact. I think these 3 people were suffered the most when they were young. Kim Sol had to live with relative and the experienced might not be good for him. Se Wook lost her dad and end up living with yang-sun grandfather and never really had any close friend and family. As for woong soon, I think his parents might face financial problem. In ep.14 Woong Soon had to cancel hiking up the mountain because he had other things to do and we can see he went to visit someone in nursing home. And for ep.15 preview, is that yang-sun grandfather in some sort of hospital? And who is the lady with cancer? I am glad that my prediction the killers are none of Yi-gang team was true... hopefully Hyun jo will regain his consciousness and help Yi Gang to build back her life. After all, she lost all of her family and if Hyun Jo died... i think that was too much for her to handle. To me Yi Gang character needs that peace and some happiness.
My prediction
The main culprit is Kim Sol, then He influences and involves See Wook who then he kills too ( the police only accused)
ONLY Kim Sol has a very strong MOTIVATION for revenge, due to all the villagers leaving unfaithful to his father who is the village head. So that making him lose his mother and father.
Kim Sol's mother and Se Wook's father were killed by Kim Sol's father because Kim Sol's mother had an affair with Se Wook's father.
Kim sol's father who keeps animal carcasses in the well, and made ghost light, so that the villagers go and not investigate the deaths of his wife and se wook's father and then he hanged oneself because his problem.
But little kim sol thought differently, the departure of the villagers and Ya Gen Tak cable car problem, it was caused her mother to die and her father to commit suicide.
Kim sol was injured and she became the perpetrator of revenge against the people who left the village and Ya gen tak cable car.
Meanwhile, Hyun jo and Yi Gang are only targeted because they know something.
Ending
Hyunjo will wake up after yi gang catches the culprit, then he will always be side yi gang, because hyun jo knows and cares about yi gang who is alone without a family, and also likes her, as well as yi gang also needs hyun jo who always cares with all his heart .
Hyun jo will take care of yi gang until she can walk again, and they end up being a solid and responsible ranger with their comrades.

I think the killer is Kim Sol. He's been very suspicious. I think hes trying to kill everyone who left the village because of the trauma he experienced when he witness the death of his father. I think he's blaming the people who left the village for the death of his parents. And lastly, I believe that Kim woon soong is investigating the case and trying to uncover the killer.
