This was SO great to watch after months of following the podcast lessons. You guys are have done such an amazing job and to see these really human moments under duress...it's brave, educational, instructional, empowering...thank you both for the dedication and humility and intelligence. I watched the video three times only listening to the narrative,then the Portuguese subtitle and finally in English subtitle....it was fantastic..Joel, you give me hope as an American to sound as local as you do with so many of you and Rui videos...I like the visit to Rui grandmothers house as well...Muito obrigato!!!
These videos are very helpful! I am a beginner preparing for some long term visits to Portugal and hope to learn some Portuguese before I arrive. It helped me to slow the playback to 75% so I could follow along with the subtitles and link the sounds (or lack of sounds) to the subtitles. 🙏 Thanks!
