I’m from the UK, my boyfriend is from Australia. When I went over to his in the British summer time, I was like ‘Oh, it’s going to be lovely, being 18-24 degrees most of the time! NOPE! His house is so surrounded by trees and bushes and there’s no insulation, so I had to wear a blanket all the time haha. Still nicer than the UK

we only survive because it happens for a few days to a week at a time, and only around 90 degrees perhaps 3-4 times a year - if it was more frequent or for longer I think we'd need it 💀 theres only sweet relief in grocery stores

im not sure if im just some anomaly or just a masochist, but whenever i go outside i generally wear a *black frickin hoodie*, no idea how im not dead(or barely feeling the heat either), but i spend quite a bit of time indoors so yeah having an AC is nice

I feel like seasons are only bearable during the transitionary phases. Like summer into fall is a nice change, you get some cool air (until you gotta rake up all those pesky leaves). First snowfall is always fun, but shoveling heaping tons of snow during February is pain. I'm always excited to see the spring melt... until I gotta deal with the mud. And as for summer? June and the first weeks of July are perfect, August can go die.
Also does your little scrimblo (the cat featured in your animations) have a name? Are they also named Owie (in the sense that it's just your avatar) or do you consider them to be their own character?
the cat started as being me, and I'd still see it as that, although a much more confident and dramatic version !! I currently go by owie online - I'll probably say my actual name eventually :)

I've had to explain the summer thing with houses keeping heat IN to non-Brits too many times. Also this Summer was so bad why is it only hot in September.

Whenever people complain about the heat I always like to bring up that I ended up going to a summer camp during the hottest week of summer and literally had to walk around in 113 F heat, man texas summers hit different

Here in Paraguay, in winter (currently), we have 5-10°C by the morning, 30°C in the afternoon and then 15° at night. It's very messy and we like to joke about how we have every season in one day.
Also we don't have snow and very rarely do you get less than 5°. Our winters are very hot and humid somehow
I like how the UK is just Ohio from the United States but Europe.
I work 15 mins from where I live, and there's a 20 degree (F) temp change between locations

As an Finn, I feel everysingle thing you just stated. The Summers are so unbearable with no AC, and the winters just bring me depression and fear, since we get SO MUCH SNOW, since we live so high up in the North and the ice ALWAYS SOMEHOW is under that soft snow which makes you slip. Like I love living here but the weather is so weird, but May and like September to October are nice. And the thing about October is that, WE DONT CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN!! 😫😫

Here in the Philippines its drown or heatstroke, the only cold season we experience is when it doesnt stop raining for a full month
Its always pleasant to hear people talk about weather because it boosts my ego lol. I was born in Siberia in the coldest city on earth which is not exaggeration and summer is still hot and gets to 30-35 celsius for a few weeks. I feel lukewarm (haha) about all seasons except winter which I love (even if its -50 outside).
edit:I recently got tested and i have severe vitamin D deficancy lol
I'm from the center of Alberta in Canada (just at the cusp of the great Boreal Forest), and it seems our experiences are quite similar in regards to weather. Except I really don't like winter.

As a brit, I can confirm this is true. The summers are hot and wet, the winters are wet and chilling, the autumns are wet and chilling, and the springs are wet and chilling.

as an irish fella, this video pretty much sums up ireland too. its september and were having a heatwave.
it is actually difficult to survive a fully day of school with no AC and no wind going through the windows, and then getting piles of homework just to rub it in lol.

As someone from western Washington State aside from the AC thing i understand your pain. We have rainy season, rainy season, FIRE FIRE FIRE, and rainy season.
As someone who's unfortunate enough to live in Scotland, summer is actually the MOST pleasant season for me because in spring and autumn it isn't uncommon to have ENTIRE MONTHS where it doesn't stop raining ONCE and in winter and autumn again it gets syo cold that I start hallucinating bugs flying about and landing on me, a sensation only shared with one thing (the song Fun Escape from the Human Flesh Forest by Kikuo, aka my least favourite song of all time (even though Kikuo is usually one of my fav artists and the album that song is on is one of my favourite albums when I ignyore that it's on it) for that reason).
Alsyo it's the only one where the temperature is consistently above 10 degrees
i hate having to wear 3 layers to schewwll in this weather. people are nearly / LITERALLY fainting in the classes. GRAAHH!!

living in a humid climate after living in a dry climate is hell. i can wear a hoodie in 35c-dry and be fine. anything above ~7c in humid weather is just hell.

I fell in love with ur channel instantly when i found it the character the voice the humor everything i literally love u and my favorite season has to be early spring bc its a balance of cold and warm but i hate the really hot day of summer bc i have really frizzy hair so i have to put 50 different hair products just to keep it a little less frizzy and winter is a bit too cold and fall is also pretty cool i like the middle seasons bc they r in the middle of warm and cold

Winter is nice but it can get cold, summer is always too hot, spring it’s getting too hot and autumn is the perfect temperature, it’s cooling down and the non native trees look all funky

I honestly think I'd like to live somewhere that's warm/hot all year round. Last year I went on vacation with my parents over the summer and got a nasty sunburn-- if you don't know, sunburns like that actually give you chills, because your body has to rush more blood up to your skin to heal the burn. What's more though, is that my dad has terrible heat tolerance, and we all shared a room, meaning that on top of my chills, we also had the AC blasting when I was trying to sleep. I was shivering in the tropics. During _summer-_
I don't think it's a stretch to say that that incident did something to my own heat tolerance, because for the rest of the summer I didn't turn the AC on once, which I normally use every day-

Over here in middle Australia the seasons go somewhat like so:
Winter: 25° low if you are lucky, go outside the sun will be nicer to you.
Spring: Summer but tame
Summer: Don’t go outside, the sun will burn you. The sun will also burn the entire country.
Autumn: calm. Sike, winter but tame.

Here in south africa, near the coast it's extremely humid and in summer it is INCREDIBLY hot. Literally just today, it clocked in at 45 degrees celsius. Feels like being boiled alive, even in my house. This is why we wear shorts. All of us... They don't even help sometimes.
Living in the American South is so fun because we get four seasons
1) Three months of 100F (38C) heat and humidity
2) Either a ton of rain or another three months of heat
3) Usually pretty nice, but a week or two of extreme cold
4) Tornado hell
My air conditioning has broken the last two summers and yes it is hell. I had three fans set up in my room all pointing at me and I was still constantly sweating. I could not imagine having to deal with that every summer for the entire summer. (Btw the problem was that a bug touched a wire, got zapped, and died. A small bug messed up the entire air conditioning system…

I live in Northeastern Brazil, and... We only have two seasons. A monsoon season and a wet season. (I live at the beachside. Rest of the region doesn't get monsoons.)
In the month of July, it rains so much that if the town I live in wasn't in direct succession to the beachside, it would flood.

Just checked back on that music video i saw a while back, holy shit it blew up. It seems like this channel is getting somewhat popular and i love it so much this is great man. Its like the british accent plus this comment its great.
I'm from the center of Alberta. By the time the first leaves on the trees start budding in spring, it gets to 30° and even higher, and _it is_ muggy here because of all the marshes. And not only that, but in the winter, which is nearly half of the entire year, it can also get down to -50°. Britain has lovely weather in comparison.

As a texan its the worst here, you get 6 months of just blazing hot sun 3 months feel like the whole city is gonna flood with pouring rain and there like 3-ish months of just pure dry cold

i live in wisconsin, and it is the perfect representation of the seasons. bright, lush, and perfect temperatures. Summer has been super humid and 80F the last few years but thats only slightly above normal. Fall is the ideal stereotype of fall, and winter is bitter cold, everything is frozen, and more snow than you can imagine!! (i love winter a lil too much)
note i should say i live on an island in wisconsin (not saying which lol) so my weather might be a tad different than everyone else bc of the water lol

Super humid too, one time it was so humid and the air pressure was so low that I felt like I was breathing under a blanket it felt so weird

The brazilian weather (especially in the northwest region where I am) is much worse.
Basically two types: summer (hot and rainy) and winter (hot and dry).
there is something in the way you deliver that combines humor and sophistication, for some reason?? it might be because i'm not a native english speaker myself (and i do watch around a dozen of content creators and shows from britain so your british-ness might not be the reason xD), and maybe the among the content creators i watch you're more eloquent than most.
At least your winters are only rainy. In northeast America, from Pennsylvania all the way up to Maine it's like snow becomes sentient and goes out of its way to emotionally (and sometimes physically) harm you.
As an south Italian, not many people complain about the weather here!
It sucks.
We went from a whopping 40C+ in the summer, stayed to about 35C in September and early October, then dipped to 20C in late October, AND SUDDENLY ONE NIGHT IT'S JUST 0C AND NEXT MORNING ITS 9C!
I haven't seen snow since 2019. Haven't seen hail since like, December 2022. Subject to change though.
It rains almost every day in autumn and winter, and in the SUMMER IT DIDNT RAIN FOR A MONTH STRAIGHT.

I live in the northern parts of the U.S., and winter for me is like having that one job that you hate, but tolerate because you need it. Most of our precipitation comes from snow, so we’re kinda screwed if we didn’t get it, though it sticks around for roughly 5-6 months

autumn: man i hate the cold

spring: temperature is a gamble
summer: wait its actually hot wtf
its also incredibly humid, so your sweat doesn't diffuse as fast so you barely cool down as well
I love the winter, but not when I'm forced to be in it by being in school and stand outside in lines waiting to go in
I can understand pretty much everything for a specific reason, here in Argentina, it depends a lot on the region (north, "center," and south-far south). The climate varies greatly in each season, but well...speaking of Buenos Aires, the summer is hot, but it's an uncomfortable heat because it's a "humid heat," which makes it suffocating in every way. Winters are cold and quite gray, and if you add the decay of the structures (buildings), you have a rather... distinctive atmosphere. There isn't much to highlight about spring and autumn either, overall, those are the most stable seasons of the year.
On the other hand, in Ushuaia (the southernmost part of the country), where I'm currently living, there is only one season, winter, and a "milder winter" lol. In winter, temperatures range from 2-4 to 9 degrees Celsius, and in summer, the temperatures range from 12 to 16 degrees (and from 4 to 2 in the nights).
