I had the pleasure of visiting San Antonio and the great state of Texas on business last month. What a wonderful city and can’t wait to visit again next year! The Riverwalk, the Alamo and this super cool art installation light art show we happened upon one evening was just incredible. My new favorite breakfast spot in the country is Shilo’s (best breakfast sausage ever!). Also, finally found my cowgirl boots-authentic snakeskin-one of my 60th birthday presents to myself. I wore a different pair twice around my Mom & step Mom, both times they wanted to know where I got them. So I told each of them to pick a color and they both wanted the black! They love them. Waiting on the hot pink and other colors. A great transitional shoe for the seasons! I’m a huge fan of the xl heating pad! I sleep with mine and sit with it daily in AR. I have always equated driving shoes to old ladies. I’m 51 and my mom and her friends all started buying their Tod’s driving shoes when they were between 65-70. Now it’s a staple for my mom and her friends (they’re in their 80’s). Once I hit 65, only then will I consider Tod’s driving shoes.

I personally loved the look of the cropped scuba look alike with the leggings; I find the silhouette is very flattering! Then again, I’ve worn leggings as pants (😬) for years and years so I’m partial to the look 😂 As a personal “hack” for preventing any unsightly lines showjng down low, I use a thin panty liner and it smooths everything out (I prefer a thong liner because there’s no lines visible in the back lol).

No. 7 Stay Perfect mascara is my favorite tubing mascara. It doesn't pull the curl out of my lashes as much as most of the other ones do. I'm gonna try that Sky High mascara and see if it works for me. Have you tried any of Trish McEvoy's Tubing mascaras? She makes a curling tubing mascara that sounds very promising.
I haven't tried that one from No. 7 yet-I'm adding that to my list. I like the ones from Trish McEvoy too-I need to try them again because it's been awhile.

I have always equated driving shoes to old ladies. I’m 51 and my mom and her friends all started buying their Tod’s driving shoes when they were between 65-70. Now it’s a staple for my mom and her friends (they’re in their 80’s). Once I hit 65, only then will I consider Tod’s driving shoes.
Well, to each their own, but you're missing out. They're a staple of the Quiet Luxury trend, and I for one will not be waiting another 15 years before I get a pair!

Thrilled you finally tried and loved some of my favorites for years. Sometimes we older gals have a clue! Haha! Especially happy you fell for my fave, Givenchy Prisme Libre Powder I have loved for years. Also have loved the Laneige Glowy Balm. Looking forward to trying some of your great picks in the new year because even though I'm much older, I will always love learning and trying new things! I think that's part of what keeps us young at heart.

@MsGoldgirl So funny! I considered it at one time -- young at heart old couple travels the world and makeup/skin care. If I had retired from the airline earlier and thought of it when you all did, I would have seriously considered it. I love your channel and always learn a lot!
I personally loved the look of the cropped scuba look alike with the leggings; I find the silhouette is very flattering! Then again, I’ve worn leggings as pants (😬) for years and years so I’m partial to the look 😂 As a personal “hack” for preventing any unsightly lines showjng down low, I use a thin panty liner and it smooths everything out (I prefer a thong liner because there’s no lines visible in the back lol).
Cheers to 2024! Love driving shoes, got into them this year. My favorite pair is by Kate Spade. Cole Haan had some good ones too!

No. 7 Stay Perfect mascara is my favorite tubing mascara. It doesn't pull the curl out of my lashes as much as most of the other ones do. I'm gonna try that Sky High mascara and see if it works for me. Have you tried any of Trish McEvoy's Tubing mascaras? She makes a curling tubing mascara that sounds very promising.
I haven't tried that one from No. 7 yet-I'm adding that to my list. I like the ones from Trish McEvoy too-I need to try them again because it's been awhile.
