It seems that the card's most recent printing was in Legendary Collection 3: Yugi's World (LCYW), and so it's text would have been updated using Problem-Solving Card Text (PSCT), and is as follows: "Return 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls to the hand. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated." The card does not use the word "target", and so, will have no interaction with Cairngorgon, the Antilumiscent Knight.
Watching this , I think that deck isn't just infernity. It's a deck working on the connection between infernity and archfiends with infernity archfiend as it core. If some of you play duel arena, you know that you can play against the world champion's deck. I played against it around 7 times and managed to win but that is not important . If you banish the core of the deck makes it more easy for winning and also this deck has bad balance. Too much spells and only four trap cards.A jinzo deck will kill it in an instant. Just helping if someone is asking :-)!
I played with infernities 4 years ago and now I don't know most of the cards used on the deck :( I wanted to start playing again but now I can only have one inf archfiend according to the banned list... The frustration is medium hmm...
This deck is only this outstanding at worlds because the banlist there is a the tcg + the ocg list. They shouldn't use this results to create a new banlist, because the other decks like geargia HAT and mermail should be stronger with the normal banlist.
Chris Saur geargia was exactly the same as our current banlist , and mermail and hat aren't that much of a problem for infernity , if infernity wins the diceroll youve lost pretty much , if your hand is anything but godly , youve lost. and yes i might just be salty because i had a crappy opponent play infernity against me and he topdecked 2 fucking archfiends and a soul charge in that order..... to destroy my field every fucking time
+Jay Low Soul Charge to 1 and Infernity Archfiend to 1 didn't kill the deck. It made the deck tier 2 (synchro build). But then... overpowered decks were released (Nekroz, Shaddolls etc). So Infernity was tier 3. And to top it off... They banned Lavalval Chain, limit ROTA and banned Exciton Knight. ROTA was necessary though. Eventhough Infernity had won worlds.. they shouldn't hit the deck if they are releasing even more overpowered decks.. (except Soul Charge) This year Satellar is besides ROTA untouched.
+Tobi McBallz putting soul charge and arch fiend to one did not make the deck tier 2 get out of here, stop watching ygopro or devpro videos, ain't nobody do shit with that deck. Lavalval chain, rota, soul charge, all of the limited archfiend cards this deck is slaughtered

Also laviar isn't a problem for.A good trap card suport can do the work :-)
most of the better decks weren't playable due to the merging of two different banlists, infernities were the best option

this deck (especially side) is very similar to tomajkos..
Because they both play Infernity, they both expected to play against the same decks and Tomajkos was inspired by Sehabi's build.

From what I understand it's the lvl 3 of choice because it is a beast in case you need one for Diamond Dire (but I could be wrong about that).
