I don't think he noticed that the revolver looked like it was shooting explosive rounds. I'm no gun expert, but would a revolver even be able to hold a bullet that causes that big of an explosion though to blow away a shield that easily?
The interior volume of a .410 slug probably at most carries enough explosive to make a small firecracker, and thus probably won't actually do anything. From sheer momentum perspective, for a gun to be able to knock down someone like that, it would do the same thing to the user of the firearm. To knock down a crouched man bracing against a metal shield like that, it would probably shatter the user's wrist and throw the user backwards as well, especially considering the weight of the gun versus the weight of the shield. That being said, in real life, there are some pretty extreme revolvers that hit harder than full powered rifle cartridges, so it's not inconceivable there may exist some revolver that can have that effect. Even then it's pretty unlikely. Payday 2 is a fictional game though, so for balance reasons it's somewhat expected. (I mean there's a guy who undoes bullet wounds by drinking shots)
I wouldn't be surprised if someone made such a thing, but a .410 slug is honestly quite small and you wouldn't get much benefit of making it a high explosive. Assuming both are made of solid lead, a 9x19mm bullet and a 410 slug are around the same weight and probably of similar volume. By contrast, a 12 gauge slug is about 5 times the weight and volume of a .410 slug, but still probably won't pack enough explosive to have that effect you see in the game. On almost all counts, the Judge in Payday 2 makes no sense, it would be vastly weaker than any of the 12 gauge shotguns in real life, but in game it's one of the most damaging shotguns.

Payday universe FBI seal, "Federal Bureau of Intervention." Ex-FBI agent, "I love how realistic the FBI seal is!" Me, who paused at the right moment, "Heh."
I'll give some slack considering not many people know the in-depth parts of PayDay 2, for example the handgun that was shot against the body bunker was actually a shotgun using HE rounds. I still don't know quite how realistic the HE rounds are, but it's more than just a handgun firing like .357 rounds or 9mm. This is also the case for the gun in the next part when they're trying to be silent, the Judge Shotgun. And with the command room comment he had made, it may have actually been staffed realistically. One of the most notorious criminals in all of crime history (as far as PD2 lore goes) was just broken out of prison and were rampaging down the streets with an armored vehicle and 4 other notorious criminals from the same crime gang. Each one of those criminals having ties to Bain which could lead to them his location and shutdown the entire PayDay Gang and CRIME.NET. I don't personally see it being too far fetched to have every station manned during an event like this. Of course, I'm not trying to discredit anything, just throwing in my two cents on how I saw a couple things mentioned in the video. Like I said at the top, he probably wouldn't know why so many resources are being spent on trying to stop your heists unless you know how long and how prominent they are in the world of PD2. They're essentially the Yakuza of the East coast of the US.
There is a system where the swat backoff for some time. Letting you do your objectives and set up a camp spot so you and your team can get somewhere to hide if things get messy Edit: The cops will try to trade a hostage for one of your teammates
If you know the story, Payday 2 may have bank robbers but they aren’t the bad guys this time. The story is about robbing corrupt police so technically you are robbing corruption
To all the people who wonder what gun that was in firstarter day 2 that was the "judge" secondary shotgun. People who run stealth build use this gun because It propels bodies into a room or wall away from a camera.
In context of the command room being staffed if there's an event; in-universe, a high-end criminal gang broke one of their members out of prison. That's why the command room is staffed
And also that someone had explained the appearance of the Bulldozer. He properly ID'd the bomb disposal suit but was confused about why they'd use one in a tactical scenario, the answer being that Bulldozers are a special unit that was commissioned in response to the threat of the Payday gang
@Matriones ye same with gta but gta is a lot better because for me I find myself getting bored every few months with gta because they update it every fucking 6 months
That silencer on the revolver is actually one of the better silencers in the game and in reality that is actually a makeshift silencer that is made out of an oil filter like what you would find on the bottom of the engine of your car
For the body bunker part. The revolver is the Judge Revolver. It's a shotgun technically and he was using HE rounds. Ofc he went flying! The damage is ASS but the knockback on them is AMAZING!
The power cutting in this game really is insane. The FBI office is one thing, and I kinda get cutting lights in some heists, but they also somehow know how to cut power to any specific device in any random place they've never been to before. From high-end senator apartments to bases of criminal organizations, once you've touched a device they'll immediately run over to the nearest power box and disable only that device.
It's also kinda funny that it's just a single large blue switch. You're telling me you have a power box for just one specific thing in a building? (Excluding Cook Off of course, those switches just turn off the whole house)
Messing with electrical switchgear can be just as dangerous, if not more so, than getting into a firefight. This is a role best left to qualified electrical technicians.
"He wouldn't have been knocked over by a handgun...I wish that was realistic", a handgun with explosive rounds will definitely knock over a swat officer with a riot shield.

The gun in the second section of the video (Firestarter Day 2) is called The Judge, it's a shotgun that's been shrunk down to the size of a pistol and is hands down one of the best weapons for a stealth job like Firestarter Day 2.
Reacting a game were you can kill a FBI agent with a fat stack of cash. 🤣🤣🤣

He had explosive rounds, not sure how that fits in with that weapon but it was just explosives.
3:15 so you’re saying real FBI agents wouldn’t just run in single file into a hail of bullets?
they would find a way to take down the criminals tactically.
@@creeperzombie6996 push tear gas in then burn down the whole building
This guy should review Firewall: Zero Hour. It’s basically vr siege but I feel like he could have fun with it
we should have an fbi agent and bank robber react to something together i think that would be really cool
Really appreciate the commentary, its great. Thanks guys!
There is a system where the swat backoff for some time. Letting you do your objectives and set up a camp spot so you and your team can get somewhere to hide if things get messy

That's why the command room is staffed
i wanna see a video with this dude, chris the cop and that retired criminal that robbed places and reacted to gta heists in one video.
SWAT, FBI and Criminal, the chaotic combo
I like the fact that he’s so down to earth.
1:52 he was using HE rounds so it blew up on him so that’s why he died if he was using a normal bullet it wouldn’t have done anything.
I know this is fictional and you can't really silence revolvers but I wish someone would've told him that the Taurus is a shotgun.
And also that someone had explained the appearance of the Bulldozer. He properly ID'd the bomb disposal suit but was confused about why they'd use one in a tactical scenario, the answer being that Bulldozers are a special unit that was commissioned in response to the threat of the Payday gang
The pistol he shot the shield with was explosive, so it detonates on impact, therefore doesn’t ricochet, next time pay more attention
This game started to get a bit boring tbh due to the similar mission structure and no real point to the game
@Matriones ye same with gta but gta is a lot better because for me I find myself getting bored every few months with gta because they update it every fucking 6 months

@@sunnyomori337 well yeah sure but its not very dependent on the mission and more you being a fan of the series
That silencer on the revolver is actually one of the better silencers in the game and in reality that is actually a makeshift silencer that is made out of an oil filter like what you would find on the bottom of the engine of your car

This is a role best left to qualified electrical technicians.
the sound coming from the mics would suggest that they went loud, but they didnt want to show the public that they cant stealth lol
"He wouldn't have been knocked over by a handgun...I wish that was realistic", a handgun with explosive rounds will definitely knock over a swat officer with a riot shield.
The guy with the handgun in the Body bunker clip was wielding a shotgun revolver (Taurus judge iirc) loaded with HE shells
1:55 that is not a pistol, it's a shotgun, and it was firing a high explosive slug not just a regular handgun round or shotgun shell.
