It was a grand time. Chicago is a great town to visit, I don’t think I could live there. It was so much fun to hang out with the Guncles, and the trip was some great memories. Happy Thanksgiving!
Great Haul there Craig. Erasure’s The Circus is so me and my best friend. We love that album! Also that Lisa Stansfield album is soo good. I hadn’t played it in ages and so gave it some love recently!
Hi Craig - lots of great finds there - wow your first Radiohead record - enjoy! I saw Rufus Wainright a few months ago at the Albert Hall. He played Want One and Want Two entirely - he was excellent. Cheers - D
@@CraigsVinylPlethora Nothing wrong with you - a nice new journey of discovery perhaps. It would be good to get the albums in the order they came out [you can skip Pablo Honey - they found their voice with the Bends].
Great video, Craig! And you scored so many great records. How's that New Order "Substance" reissue sound? PS. It was very sweet of Robert to bring you all gifts for your Guncles meetup. Extra kudos for also thinking of Shane and Daisy.
@CraigsVinylPlethora It's a phenomenal album. It sounds like you're a fan (I never knew your page existed until I happened to scroll past you holding up Animal Heart). If you haven't heard her other offering, A Camp, they are definitely worth checking out. Though I've never seen The Cardigans, I did get to see A Camp perform here in Chicago. Top 5 concert experience.
@@reverendB I Love A Camp. Pretty much anything to do with Nina I’m on board. That would’ve been amazing to see. I had tickets to see the Cardigans in the later 90’s (I think. It was so long ago) and something happened and I wasn’t able to go. Still very sad for me.
@@reverendB communication and stronger than Jesus are two of my favorite songs of all time. Oh and then there’s erase/rewind. I could go on & on & on……
You weren't overreacting to that traffic! When Chicago's interstates get really clogged they're the worst in the country... One time our Kennedy Expressway trip downtown took so long we could literally have walked there.
I give you a thumbs up just for Nina Persson, she's the best!
I absolutely adore her!
@@CraigsVinylPlethora I love the Cardigans and A Camp, Long Gone Before Daylight is one of my favorite albums. Animal Heart is awesome, too.

@@CraigsVinylPlethora Her voice is so heart-breaking. She moves me like no other singer.
Wow great selection of record ❤
If a dude is going to show a Nina Perssons lp I'm gonna watch!
She’s the absolute best!
So many good albums! The Cure, Simple Minds, Abba! Love the Dolly bag!
It’s pretty sweet, right?
Glad to hear the Depeche Mode show was great! Our record crawl was great fun. Excellent meeting you and Shane!
It was so great! It was epic! So great meeting you too!!

It’s always better with the Shane! Loving you!

Right? I’m a little late to the game with Radiohead. What’s wrong with me? That would be amazing to see Rufus. Especially those particular albums.

Substance is great! It’s a little quiet but other than that it’s wonderful. So nice to finally have it on vinyl.
The word you were looking for was recipient. And I’m sure that you could say it !
I saw Nina Persson, I clicked. Animal Heart is a great record!!
She’s so great and so happy to finally have Animal Heart on vinyl.

@CraigsVinylPlethora You and I are in the same boat! I'm showing my age, but I'd listen to her sing the phone book.
