This case is so scary because my boyfriend was a child growing up about an hour away from Matamoros when this happened. This case is so chilling since I know most of the places referenced in it.
A group of us nurses went to Matamoros to look around since we were at the border updating immigration stuff. We asked the U.S. side of the border crossing where was the safest place for us to stay overnight. We were told at least 2 hours away north from Brownsville into Texas.

The victims weren't chosen at random, they chose them cause they had something that Constanzo wanted. Intelligence, strength, etc. By una living them and throw them at the cauldron they "got" that trait for them. I am a physician and a skeptic, but as a fellow Latina can say truly horror things hapen here.. Not only Palo Mayombe but we see people that are believers in Palo Cristiano, Santeria AND catholicism that make me question life. There is one expresion in my Country that goes "Está rezado" meaning that someone has been bound and protected from death: I myself have seen 3 patients that are just inexplicable for me.. 1. A guy that got shot in the back with a pellet gun, I treated him and saw how bad injured he was but not even one of the pellet got into his vital organs, just flesh wounds. 2. A man with 4 gunshots, one each leg, one in his arm and the last one in his throat.. just flesh wounds, not even a vein or artery affected. 3. This third one still gives me the chills... A man came 1st of january this year, ANGRY and demanding something for his pain as he was shot in the head. He had been in a fight, shot 5 times and only one bullet got in, it has entered trough his jaw and was lodged by his 4th cervical vertebrae. He wasn't even bleeding at all! Seeing that X-ray just makes me question everything that I believe in. If you ever want to make a deep dive in this stuff just look for "sicarios" and their way to be guarded against bullets. As a fellow Latina I do not believe this stuff but as a ER Doctor I have seen some weird stuff only magic can explain.

I worked extensively in Mexico as well as in Haiti for a spell and the regular people on the streets "the sadly, uneducated and easily led faithful" have a deeply ingrained belief in what can only be called "witch doctors", it is rife.... I live in Brownsville, which borders with Matamoros Mex. Our city is actually very safe, but you do have to be careful when going into Mexico. Kilroy stood out as a non local spring breaker, but now, drug cartels will abduct someone for a ransom. There's actually a travel warning to Matamoros.

Oh wow, I feel like I've read about this case for decades. It was the one thing that terrified me as a kid in the 80s because Mark's face was all over the news. (I grew up an hour from Brownsville) This was really well done and I learned details I'd never heard before. Phenomenal job.

This will sound weird but, I can tell you how he (most likely) got an eye into a chickens egg. I have had many chicken eggs not make it all the way to developed. About 4 or 5 days in it mostly looks like a giant eyeball in there. If he was to boil the egg it could look a lot like an human eye I'd imagine. There's veins all the way through it at that point. Gross as all get out but this guy clearly wasn't above such things. No I absolutely have not tried this, nor will I be trying it. But I could see how it could be pulled off pretty easily

I've watched hundreds of crime videos, I thought id already learned about the most vile human beings and the most twisted disturbing cases, but this one absolutely takes the cake. I just cannot even fathom the evil and depravity of this case. Mark Kilroy's murder is literally one of the most scary and horrific things I've ever heard (I couldn't even look at the screen when she was describing what happened - it's caused literal nausea) . That poor young lad, he would have been so terrified - being dragged into a shack by an insane murderous cult and tortured to death. It's like a far fetched horror movie. I feel so deeply for all those poor victims - truly horrific. Seriously, this Adolfo guy is a literal evil entity incarnated on earth - and the fact he was that way as a child too. I am seriously disturbed.

A group of us nurses went to Matamoros to look around since we were at the border updating immigration stuff. We asked the U.S. side of the border crossing where was the safest place for us to stay overnight. We were told at least 2 hours away north from Brownsville into Texas.

The victims weren't chosen at random, they chose them cause they had something that Constanzo wanted. Intelligence, strength, etc. By una living them and throw them at the cauldron they "got" that trait for them. There is one expresion in my Country that goes "Está rezado" meaning that someone has been bound and protected from death: I myself have seen 3 patients that are just inexplicable for me..
1. A guy that got shot in the back with a pellet gun, I treated him and saw how bad injured he was but not even one of the pellet got into his vital organs, just flesh wounds.
2. A man with 4 gunshots, one each leg, one in his arm and the last one in his throat.. just flesh wounds, not even a vein or artery affected.
3. This third one still gives me the chills... A man came 1st of january this year, ANGRY and demanding something for his pain as he was shot in the head. He had been in a fight, shot 5 times and only one bullet got in, it has entered trough his jaw and was lodged by his 4th cervical vertebrae. He wasn't even bleeding at all! Seeing that X-ray just makes me question everything that I believe in.
If you ever want to make a deep dive in this stuff just look for "sicarios" and their way to be guarded against bullets. As a fellow Latina I do not believe this stuff but as a ER Doctor I have seen some weird stuff only magic can explain.

I'm a General Practicioner in Colombia and we see weird and heinous stuff here, even though things have gotten "better" (meaning we no longer have to do full necropsies on beheaded or chopped up corpses and there is not as much violence as it was before, at least bombs and mass murders have gotten less and less prevalent).

I worked extensively in Mexico as well as in Haiti for a spell and the regular people on the streets "the sadly, uneducated and easily led faithful" have a deeply ingrained belief in what can only be called "witch doctors", it is rife.... I live in Brownsville, which borders with Matamoros Mex. Our city is actually very safe, but you do have to be careful when going into Mexico. Kilroy stood out as a non local spring breaker, but now, drug cartels will abduct someone for a ransom. There's actually a travel warning to Matamoros.

It can sometimes be fascinating hearing about true crime cases around the world and how they differ to North American, British, or generally any other 'western' area. The cultures are so different that every aspects of the crimes and events surrounding the crimes are so different. And can also be so much more horrific. The Mexican ones have to be some of the worst of the worst of the worst.

This will sound weird but, I can tell you how he (most likely) got an eye into a chickens egg. I have had many chicken eggs not make it all the way to developed. About 4 or 5 days in it mostly looks like a giant eyeball in there. If he was to boil the egg it could look a lot like an human eye I'd imagine. There's veins all the way through it at that point. Gross as all get out but this guy clearly wasn't above such things. No I absolutely have not tried this, nor will I be trying it. But I could see how it could be pulled off pretty easily

I've watched hundreds of crime videos, I thought id already learned about the most vile human beings and the most twisted disturbing cases, but this one absolutely takes the cake. I just cannot even fathom the evil and depravity of this case. Mark Kilroy's murder is literally one of the most scary and horrific things I've ever heard (I couldn't even look at the screen when she was describing what happened - it's caused literal nausea) . That poor young lad, he would have been so terrified - being dragged into a shack by an insane murderous cult and tortured to death. It's like a far fetched horror movie. I feel so deeply for all those poor victims - truly horrific.
Seriously, this Adolfo guy is a literal evil entity incarnated on earth - and the fact he was that way as a child too. I am seriously disturbed.
I appreciate the warning about mentions of harm to animals. That is one thing that haunts me above all. Though I will not watch this video, I will be watching more by you
