Fucking being near Chicago must just be cursed at this point. Haven't had any decent amount of snow in years now. You would think that with the lake, the winters would bring a lot of snow, but we're dry.
@ Always rough. We got 13 inches of snow here in central IL. Then it turned into ice. That's always fun. Especially when work calls with "Leave early, we're still open. D:!"
@@StylesEste heard about that. Our snow came and almost immediately melted away up here. Now we are just left with the miserable negative temps and all the melted snow that is turning to ice
@@crossfire2045 Yeah.. The draw back of winter. The ice roads. And the bosses that tell us to leave early 'cause we're still working. xD I got friends in Texas, and it's wild to me that they get the day off with an inch of snow. 🤣
You put this out and project winter is one of my fav games to watch you play and coincidentally I'm now watching this at work to bring in my birthday 🎂 🥳
30:40 I think this is very funny because they're trying to gauge what feels normal between measurement systems with someone whose temperature meter is incredibly outta wack. I'm Australian, so more acclimated to heat than most, and 25C is a nice sunny day. absolutely not jumper weather. 30C is sweating on a short walk weather, beach day weather. definitely not what to set a thermostat to, wtf!!! and they can't call that out for being crazy wacko bc of measurement translation 😭😭😭
Bro Apple is British and so am i NO WAY she is saying she gets cold at 20 Celsius that is a warm day on average in summer. Like how does she cope for winter when it is around 0 - 7 C.
So whilst I think the numerical range of Fahrenheit might lend itself to a large country with extremely varied weather, do we really need that many points of measurement when, most of the time, we just talk about feeling cold, comfortable or hot? Comparatively - yes, we rarely see temperatures over 30°C in the UK, but that just keeps it pretty straightforward to communicate. And having 0°C be freezing means it's really easy to just communicate where it's cold enough to expect icy conditions (i.e. "it went below zero overnight"). The bigger benefit is that Celsius lends itself so well to other uses of temperature, such as medical, engineering, cooking, etc., that using it for weather then gives a really good base knowledge and point of comparison. Also: as a Brit, 30°C indoors is insane, and I have no idea what Apple is on 😅 Most people probably fall in the 17-23°C range for heating in buildings or vehicles.
@Billybobjoe_151 Think you misread. The "more numbers" was in my first paragraph. My second paragraph is about Celsius, and the part you were reading was starts "The bigger benefit is Celsius lends itself..." Basically - Chilled agreed that Celsius made sense in other usage, but Fahrenheit worked for weather. I was both doubting that was true AND saying that using the same method of measuring temperature for all instances gave a good point of comparison... so just use Celsius for everything if it works for most.
Chilled keeps catching Ls with women, he kicked a female cancer patent, got himself precanceled in march for what he said he was going to do the first few days, I going to see if that shovel gets him out or in deeper!
On the Pokemon card thing, cant you Doordash kids meals? Also, not sure if still possible, but I thought McDonalds would let you buy just the toy.(Probably not the entire stock but 1 or 2)🤔🍹
Fahrenheit vs Celsius for weather makes absolutely no difference, it's literally just something you get used to very early on in your life and that's what makes sense for you. 0 being very cold and 100 being very hot makes no sense to me. Make it make sense for anyone using Celsius why 32F and below is icy outside. You can't, but it's something that has very little impact on your day to day life as you get used to it before you even learn to write
Chilly, I know you're trying to be nice and to let everyone have a good time, but please. You keep letting obvious baddies live and then you waste 30 minutes just to lose. Running around fixing sabotages for 15 minutes is neither fun to watch or fun to play. Project Winter used to be my favorite game to watch but it isn't anymore as EVERY SESSION is the same. At this point I'd rather watch any other social deception game, even Amogus (which I haven't watched or played since 2021)
To be fair, the balancing in that game kind of looks like garbage to begin with. It's why they have house rules in place just to make it less of a problem.
@@Cheshipuss It's not garbage, they're just fucking off to do their own thing and spend 10 minutes trying to make a backpack instead of cooperating to fix the objectives. When you combine the survivors' lack of willingness to do the objectives with leniency towards the traitors, you get 30 minute games where the traitors win almost every time. They have house rules because they're content creators and it's not fun dying in the first 5 minutes because your ADHD brain followed strangely cooperating 2 people far north to get killed instead of cooperating to fix the objective. Even the hardest 1st objectives in the game should be finished in the first 10 to 15 minutes, but sometimes they don't even finish it after 20 minutes. Same with the "hard" maps, they're hard because they're fucking off solo to die to wilderness instead of cooperating. They also operate on weird misconceptions, can't think of one in the Project Winter rn but for example the idiotic "using the radio bugs your audio in Death Note game" (which they mentioned in this stream) even though more often than not it was the investigators getting the bug
I can see why project winter is fun to play, but can someone who enjoys watching it please explain the draw compared to among us and town of salem? No hate or anything, I'm not saying you're wrong for liking it, I just want to know what I'm not seeing in it.
project winter is actually a challenging game trying to complete the objectives before the time limit while two people unknown to the crewmates work against the group trying to sabotage things without being found out where as among us is more of a fast paced kinda mindless game where it doesn't actually matter what you do round to round its either be killed or pay attention in the meetings and vote right so imo project winter is more enjoyable to watch because it demands strategy and forethought from those playing it to be good and win
It's an actual game with stakes unlike ToS and and among us they dont just screw around until the time runs out or the bad guys win. It's the best game chilled plays.
I am still laughing y’all. Thanks everyone for being so sweet!
"Who taught junkyard glizzy? Which one of you do I have to ban?" 😂
Setting your thermostat to 30°C is insane. I would be marinating in my own sweat

I didn't get to watch this live, but since Chilled asked- in Michigan we have a wind chill forecast of -19F a few hours from now.
D: bundle up
In Chicago, we had -3F with chills down to -27F. Too dang cold.
This was awesome. Made my day. Great job chilled. Kicking cancer patients in 2025. I see you 😂😂😂
