    Very interesting, and a reasonable price, pity about the door sensor not fitting, isn't that going to be a problem with all caravan/motorhomes with a fly screen? Looking at the website, maybe a pressure mat would be a better option.

      Hi Bob Thanks. Yes it was a shame. They do make pressure mats ( good idea). They are aware maybe a pressure mat could added for Caravan and Motorhome users. Thanks for watching Phil👍😀

    Interesting bit of kit. Shame about the door sensor, that would have been handy. Thanks for sharing Phil 🙂

    Great way to protect ones mobile space and maybe home too , like the way it alerts to text and phone , hopefully it would make someone think twice before doing anything ! So if the alarm goes do you need to attend the caravan to reset or can you do it remotely and would the alarm keep going until you can attend ?
    Great gadget thanks G&Z

    Well done Phil, very interesting, my last caravan ( Compass) had a factory fitted alarm which was audible only, the text facility on this alarm is a much better application 👍

    Great review Phil, a great product liking the idea of turning off the alarm sound and just getting a text message, shame about the door sensor not fitting due to the fly screen.
    Best wishes

    That’s a canny device that. I could see that selling well. I think maybe under 150 would sell a bit better. Good review and think a lot of people would get one. I think budget model vans and own upgrades are probably the way forward.

      Hi Paul. I get what your saying but they do other similar alarms at a lower cost price. I think the cheapest is around £80.00. Thanks Phil 😀👍

    Good review of a useful product Phil, thank you sir! It is not as pricey as some and seems to be aimed at the DIY installer at that level. Cheers, Rog... ✅ 👍🏻 🐍

    hi, can you please help ? i 've set it up following the manual. few days ago i received a message from the alarm : ALERT BATTERY -30% , does it means the battery level is at 30 % or at 70% ? , i m confused by the - sign. thanks

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  2 года назад

      Hi Good Question. I understand there is 70 percent left. Have you used good batteries. Cheap ones are no use. This battery warning is also for the Phone Box and not the sensor. They last much longer in the sensor. Hope this helps. Phil.

    hi could you tell me what type of sim is used is it just a ordinary phone sim you would need to take a contract out or ? the website offers a sim @£12 but doesn't say how long or whatever it lasts ?

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  4 года назад +1

      Hi Rob. I bought a top up sim only from Tesco. I put £5.00 on it which will last quite a while bearing in mind it only reduces money when the alarm is activated and that will not be much. We have only had one false activation since using it fully in our Van and that was due to a comb web. Hope this helps. Phil🙂
