I wish we could get these phones in the US. It would give Samsung, Google and Apple the kick in their pants they need to start innovating again. Or at the very least put this camera system on a "OnePlus 13 PRO" model.
Selling phones in USA is not interesting for chinese brands anymore. When more than 80-90% of teenagers use an iPhone and almost 60% of americans globally use an iPhone.
🤨 This year, Vivo X200 Pro has better cameras: better than iPhone, Galaxy, Xiaomi and Oppo. It does not mean Oppo cameras are bad, but they are not the best. There are tons and tons of review, all around the world which show that. X8 Pro burst shooting mode is great but overall, the phone doesn't have the best cameras.
I got the X8 Pro (the global version) in Europe. This thing is awesome. I still have an S23U and the Oppo beats the Samsung in every area. With one exception: the stylus. If you really want that, you have to stick with Samsung. My hobby has been photography for decades. And Hasselblad is not on the Oppo for fun. The image quality is very good day and night. The coloring is good. Shadows are allowed and not everything is mercilessly brightened. The zoom is incredibly good up to 30x (690 mm). Oppo has developed some clever algos. The performance in everyday use is also simply fun. Everything runs so smoothly again. I am not sponsored and do not receive any money or equipment from Oppo for this praise.
If camera quality, especially zoom, and battery life are paramount, the Vivo X200 Pro might be preferable. However, both phones share a parent company, so it's a win-win for the company. Also, the fact that we consumers are spoilt for choice is awesome. Can't go wrong with either. Awesome video as always Mark! 🎉
I’m using both, have now switched on over to the X200 Pro and honestly OS wise. OPPO is better. It feels more fluid overall but cameras are a toss up. Both are really good at certain things.
They aren't from the same parent company. OPPO and Vivo are completely separate companies. Separate staff, factories, research teams, separate technology and patents

The Oneplus 13 is only missing the 6x camera though. The rest of the camera hardware is the same

They’re both different in a way. Vivo is good at certain scenarios. OPPO X8 Pro is better at other scenarios. Can’t go wrong with either tbh.
Vivo telephoto is on another level. 2 telephoto doesn't mean it's better than one periscope. Besides Vivo's main sensor is bigger

Cooking up the video. Have to take more sample shots and really test its capabilities and shoot LOG video on it.
This phone is way better than upcoming S25 Ultra which is said to be come with a 10 MP telephoto lens from 2020.
