I think I burnt myself out trying to finish the song. I've written myself into a corner and have banging my head against it for the past few months over and over until I got tired of it. I still want to finish the song, I haven't given up on it. I've just taken a break, focusing on other stuff and trying to clear my head so I can return to the problem with a fresh mind.
