Why doesn’t Kameme ever use leaf shield? I feel like that could be really effective for pressuring Rivers when he stands just out of grab range and shields then drops shield or short hops.
As a Mega main, I avoid leaf shields on Swordies or other characters with disjoints because they can easily hit you out of it, which let's you open to big damage, in particular with a character than can combo you like Chrom.
I've seen him use it in other fights, but like the guy above me said, it can be sketchy with people who can out range it. I think he should have used it though, would have given him a lot of the damage he was missing here. If you land it right or are good at jumping off from a shielded opponent, it's very good when being pressured
That up b murders little characters if they get caught by the ledge they get pulled the same distance as everyone else but cuz their bodies are so small they are off the stage like Mario would have survived cuz his bodies big enough so when he get knocked down part of him would be onstage and so he'll be hit onto the stage but little turtle just gets sent to the depths really tho it's on kememe for not spacing himself outside of chrom up b range like if you gonna challenge chroms up b best make sure there's no chance of you being hit
D-does this count as an upset? I don't think James/Rivers was on the PGR before yet...if he was he was definitely much lower in ranking than Kameme. A 3-0 on the record has to be huge for his next placement.

On this season's PGRU, Kameme was just ranked #11 while Rivers was unranked entirely. So during this season it's definitely an upset.
Rivers (after Mkleo) is definitely the most consistent player in Smash.
