We live in Back Flagaman Pedro Plains. We haven't got any lights either, we are having the same issues. We don't even get water in our pipes, everyone has to buy water. Luckily, most of us have 14 feet deep tanks, and we have never ever protested. No government look after us, NONE. Waist of time.
Don't clear it is blocking roads make it better r let them restore light faster they not the only one out of light i've a pacemaker and use a monitor and i've to wait until my light restore to go back to my house
Jamaica and the Caribbean need to get the same organization that exists between the US states where crews from different states go to any state that has an emergency. We should be having crews from from Trinidad and Barbados etc out in Jamaica helping out and then we return the favor if they get hit and we do not. Also most of this is caused by trees falling on the wires, before the hurricane came Jamaica should have declared a national emergency holiday where they incentivize people to go out and prune trees and clear drains etc. The cost of that would have way less than the weeks of lost productivity suffered and the general reduction in people's well being.
What is Andrew hollness is doing about the situation if people don't have electricity for 5 weeks.... as a government of the country...Where is he ? Andrew where are you the citizens them need your help ..
