This is brilliant! I want to be minimal but the wisdom put out on RUclips seems to be all the stuff you should take "just in case", because "you never know" and you need to have something with you "in a pinch". And then take extra because you "might be able to help someone else out on the trail". I get suckered into the "what you should take with you" mindset. This is a like breath of fresh air - just the basics. I love this video. Thank you.

What kind of pants are you using for the long journey side? Anything special?

In the pics they are generic ADV trousers. But I can't find any of those to buy anymore. Also when I transitioned into dirt bikes, ADV trousers gets burnt on the exhaust.
Now I just use motocross trousers for everything. Brand FLY, as they appear to be the most breathable.
