Batman as a character has a particular purity to him, where he doesn't compromise. He's not something who would be easy to "be with", but, there are certainly women who admire and even love him, and who genuinely know him for who he is. Those women tend to exist in the penumbra of his world, they need to know who he is for a start. Ra's Al Ghul worked who batman was quite early, and wanted Bruce to be his successor, Talia fell in love with him and of course she knew who he was. But batman and her could never really see eye to eye, she had too much of her father in her. Andrea, well, she falls into the classic pattern of batman "villains", where they are often sympathetic and reflect something important about Batman himself, and often have a theme of duality. She shared his tragedy, but while she lost her mother young her father died violently when she was an adult, her desire for revenge was much closer for her, much more recent, much more raw. Bruce with Alfred as a surrogate father managed to internalise the need to restrain his desire for revenge, but she never did, never could. In the end, could they have been together despite it all? Possibly, but . . It's a case of Macbeth, "I am in blood so far stepped" where she feels she's already too far down that path for them to be together, like her actions have already made it impossible. Catwoman, and in the animated series even wonder woman have been paired with him as well. Catwoman of course is an antivillain generally, sometimes an antihero, and it's very tenuous. The truth is, Batman doesn't allow distractions from his mission, and he doesn't compromise on his values, and he's not easy to be with. He's someone you can admire from afar, but trying to be with him would mangle you, one way or another. But that's also the actual romance of the character. A gothic romance, to be sure. But he is unable to find happiness, and unable to make others happy, it's the nobility of who he is, his incorruptibility, his drive to protect others from what happened to him, it's the qualities that create a sense of romance that he is sacrificing any chance of happiness because he can't let go of his mission, his remorseless drive to protect Gotham, and later, the world. People that extreme rarely exist in reality, but they are polarising by their nature, people love them or hate them, and when it's a fictional character they mostly love them, because they don't have to deal with the consequences of a person like that existing in reality. As you'll note, the "bat family", the people closest to Bruce? They have to deal with him, and they love him but they find him impossible most of the time. Even nightwing, who is generally extremely tolerant of batman had a real falling out with him in the past. Extreme personalities rarely have particularly fruitful love lives, they need someone who matches them extremely well, and is growing in the same direction, someone who can share their direction of travel in life. There just isn't anyone precisely like that for Batman, even in a fictional context.
Julie, That was a fantastic reaction of Son of Batman. Also, Bruce and Damon were amazing as father and Son. Also, Keep up the good work on the reactions of Batman.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
There's something really cool in following a journey of someone who really doesn't know much about this universe! Seeing your raw takes back in the Red Hood one to know understanding better Batman's code it's really, really fun! You are lovely and your reactions are extremely entertaining to me, so keep being brilliant! Can't wait to see what is to come!
It’s really cool seeing you react from such a fresh perspective of Batman. Since Batman has been around so long there’s been a lot of versions of the characters. So Deathstroke here and the one in Arrow are the same character but changed to fit their universe story. Same for everyone else but usually the essence of the character is kept the same. Deathstroke still remains this threatening assassin bad guy, and same for any other characters you’ll end up seeing in future movies. Hope you keep enjoying the dive into the world of Batman
the "guy" from the beginning is killer croc. He s usually half man/ half croc but thanks to langstrom serum that he took, lets say his animalistic half became dominant(that s why he sprouted a tail). Unfortunately like batman said he was unstable after taking it
Damian Wayne was an absolute little shit when he debuted. But he would go on to prove himself worthy of the mantle of Robin. One of his best storylines in the comics has him getting captured by Darkseid and taken to Apokalypse (I know I've butchered the DC spelling of it). But Jason Todd (Red Hood) leads the Teen Titans on a rescue mission to save Damian. And to Damian's absolute shock, ALL of them are wearing ROBIN uniforms, to show him they all feel he's proven himself to be a true Robin.
hi beautiful how are you doing today? it's the same Slade Wilson but a different take on the character sweetie.😙💖💐 PS YOU'RE NOT A BAD REACTOR THE REACTION WAS GREAT. the next movie is called batman vs robin
This is the Robin that will be the DCU Batman Brave and the Bold. Damien is son of both Talia Al Ghul and Bruce Wayne. He is also grandson Ras Al Ghul. Damien has much of his grandfather in him.
As far as I remember one day I found out Batman didn't know he had a son because he was raped by Talia. He was drugged or something and she took advantage of him to make another successor for her father to someday lead the assassins and Batman refused it so... Yeah, she is evil haha
That was based on *one* writer misremembering the story line where Damien was conceived. Whether they stick with it has varied from writer to writer ever since. When the actually story line with the conception took place Talia was a little more neutral and arguably only wasn't full on good because of loyalty to her father.
Dick Grayson is my favourite of the entire Bat family.
As he should be, your taste is impeccable 😌👌🏾
the golden boy.

My favorite part of this movie is when Nightwing fights Damian. Nightwing is a former circus acrobat. He knows how to fight.
Got this movie on Blu-ray
3 movies in and your missing out on secret post credit scenes for these DCAMU movies

can't wait to see a live action version of Damian Wayne in the new DCU movie...

Basides Batman, his lesbian cousin Kate Kane aka Batwoman is my top favorite member of the batfamily.

Batman doesn’t kill, because if he did he would be no different from the man who killed his parents
Damn, that was dark
I enjoyed your reaction

The introduction of the most annoying character in this universe
