Nice fish well dpne, been out on boat for a week fishing caught a big zero fish. Even resorted to a pellet feeder caught zilch. Iam starting to believe theres not many big fish left in thames, was expecting a plague of bream but they never showed .
Oh no that’s not good… Thames has been hard fishing this year not much coming out. But I’m not moving around I’m only fishing in my garden. Thought you would have had better luck out on the boat. ! What stretch of the Thames was you on ?
@@totalanglinguk8563 Hi yes went up to old windsor weir channel did two nights halfway down channel out of the way of fdaa swims no luck, then went back to doyle carte island and tied to broken tree had a take at midnight fish threw the hook. Then moved forward to fav conker tree in front absolutely nothing. I also fished one night in sunbury weir channel tied to tree in front no luck even with pellet feeder.went past your house about eleven o clock tthis morning. Now back on mooring opp ravens ait.my parrot is relieved to be going home, its supposed to be my lucky talisman but my catches are getting worse . Mind you their is a seal on the loose near hampton court. Apparently some good catches coming from near taggs island, my boat is just a little large to squeeze in trees sometimes. Being a 32 ft marine projects boat
@@johnh5660 Hi thanks for your comments, iam starting to believe there are four things at play causing big fish to be few and far between , you have got a seal roving eating 15kg of fish everyday, you then have eastern europeans who keep every fish they catch, then you have the river dwellers who are fishing and also consuming the fish and then there are sewage disposals going into river. I dont think it will ever recover. The only place i have seen carp this year is in molesey weir channel by willow tree and they werent feeding and the seal at present is in molesey to teddington reach slowly clearing it of fish.since anglers pay for licences i feel environment agency has a duty to maintain the fishery and should net seal and relocate it to the outer herbrides. Or failing that southend.
Great spot that! hope you popped over to the swan for a beer to celebrate after! :)
