I adore this image, and I've been very tempted to get it... But after watching your video I'm happy I haven't ordered it. I didn't realise they made the boxes bigger, which will make shipping to South Africa even more expensive (DAC doesn't ship directly to us like other companies do, so we use parcel forwarding companies that charge a lot more than it would have been if we had just paid DAC or whatever diamond painting company for shipping). I guess that means no more new DAC paintings for me 😅 I'm not a fan of receiving toolkits with my diamond paintings in general (lots of unnecessary plastic waste), so the new one isn't a big deal for me - but I will say the tray definitely seems to be a big improvement.
The artwork is really gorgeous and well rendered! And so much potential for extra enhancement drills as well. This and Hades & Persephone by Margaret Morales have been the only ones that have tempted me in the past couple of months. I already have so many huge diamond paintings 😂 I'm a bit hesitant of buying more extra large ones at this stage, and that seems to be the popular size these days.
