- Early look at the new Roxas forms Black Hole and Magic Hour (over Oathkeeper Keyblade).
Thx to Chris Shade for making the nobody sigils for the light pillar in Black Hole form and to Dh for the KH2 Roxas animations.
Form HUD Logo was done by Mr. Puzzles as usual :)
Since most people have decided for longer previews I'm uploading this shorter one now and the longer gameplay this weekend on saturday :)

Black Hole being almost like a recreation of Roxas' Limit Break from 358/2 Days is such a nice touch

Well , theres 2 DDD forms left (Waverider and Rising Wing) and the rest of the forms will be custom pretty much or character inspired (mostly guardians though cause I wanna save bad guys for my YX mod later on)
I can’t wait to this mod to release and keep the work because this is the best mod for me

Jokes aside, I like the idea of Riku having forme changes where he mimics the other keyblade weilders. It feels like he's hit the peak of his character arc and understands that he's in a Disney game and that the power of friendship is a thing.
This is really well done but also doesn't really feel like a Riku form, I hope you'll consider replacing this with something more thematic and keeping the work you've done for perhaps a Roxas mod in the future
Initially I didn’t even plan on editing oathkeeper at all honestly 😅 So this is like a bonus form I just felt like doing since I had already added Axels weapons to fire raid aswell.
Yeah I hope he does, Roxas can’t be replaced!
We've already got plenty of thematic forms for Riku going on in this update of the mod. Like Kura said, Oathkeeper wasn't even part of the original plan. It wasn't until we looked at Grand Chef/Fire Raid that we decided to turn it into a bit of an Axel-themed Formchange, since his Keyblade was deemed more appropriate/satisfactory for the moveset. - Zay
To be fair Riku is a Keyblade master
Who understands the darkness and the light better than the others
Who also has fought and bested Roxas
I think between Sora, and Roxas
Riku fits the theme of duality better than anyone
And would make another great addition to the cast who can dual wield as I imagine not everyone can dual wield keyblades (and those who can are highly skilled advanced Keyblade users)
then dont use it if it bothers you so much cuz it doesnt "fit" riku lol, its just a mod and was clearly just a bonus form for oathkeeper.

Ngl I kinda wanna see riku use two become one, could have that be the base keyblade then have it "split" so to speak and have oathkeeper and oblivion come out for magic hour. That's just an idea though, this looks dope as hell just like the other forms. Keep it up.
Hearing Riku say "Light" was so badass during the finisher. So used to him saying "Darkness" most of the time.

Your updates for the mod makes me realise how much i want a Riku game with his own formchanges and abilities.But this will tide me over until that day comes.

Square Enix needs to hire you, you've been doing amazing things and so smartly too. Like you've used animations from past KH games in this mod etc, yet Square couldn't even do that for Riku when he has so much to work with. You are such a master at this I swear.
man I appreciate the love but Im really just a moveset modder at the core and I get a lot of help to make the finished forms what you see in the videos :D
@@therecusant All the same it's still amazing work even as a moveset modder. Like you and your teams work is being implemented so well that it looks 100%. I'm actually convinced Square doesn't really know how to do what you've done. you know using assets from the previous games that are from different engines. you and your team has been doing this in a very timely manner. love it, keep it up bro I'm so looking forward to the Riku love.

Sorry if this one is not specific to the video, but there really is nothing else to say then what othwrs have said! And watching your updates always lighten the day they get uploaded, no matter how bad it was before :D

i don't even have the pc version of KH3 but your awesome mods are seriously making me consider purchasing it for real! all your mods are absolutely mindblowing to me and can't wait to play them hopefully someday soon!
PC version is a must get, especially since the console versions dont have a next gen update.
Id say it’s definitely worth it. Not even just for KH3 but all the other games you can mod aswell.
Detail I noticed:the light beams have the nobody insignia on top of them like Roxas's as opposed to the crown like xions.
Meaning that these are(to my knowledge) custom beams.
Will this mod ever cease to amaze?! I mean seriously! The more I see the less patient I get!!
Yeah I basically took the Xion beams , removed the crown and slapped the nobody sigil on there 😅

Riku going TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROOOOOOOOOOOOL ! Actually the more I see your project the more I'm sad that's not a Sora remaster, cause it feels like Riku has only a few lines and seems to repeat the same things in each attacks.
Anyway the best KH3 mod I have ever seen so far.
Can't wait for it to be released.
I actually switched it up a bit recently for this form and some older form so I hope itll be a little bit more diverse for release :D

Oooh, I wouldn't have expected riku to go roxas mode(With axel as well, but for some reason it felt less off with him maybe it's the fighting style that's conflicting a bit) but the overall result is incredible! I'm specially interested in the choice for the names of both forms since i would NOT have thought of that lmao.
Also the triple finisher while on black hole is actually kind of funny, is that due to the way the base form is coded or was this just a choice of yours?

the names are Roxas' days limits and triple finishers are because i wanted to simulate how Roxas days limit worked on the DS . In this mod you can either mash x and do the triple finisher or you just press it once and do 1 instead :)
I wonder if Unbound will be featured. I imagine the formchange could be Flowmotion attacks made into a combo moveset.
It definitely won’t be cause I hate it 😅 The only DDD keys I like are Dive Wing and End of pain.

I spy multiple KH2 effects, making this even more legitimate than people know considering they weren't in the game to begin with.
You probably mean animations ? :D The fx are all KH3 stuff but I did use some KH2 animations
@@therecusant oh really? the giant symbol that appears over your head in the finisher comes from boss roxas's pak/effect file, must have transferred over with another animation. Either way looks fantastic, truly fitting.
@@joshuasweat7596 oh right 😂 yeah the texture is from KH2 but the effect is still the KH3 one . Its an effect retexture basically haha
@@therecusant had no idea you could edit the textures on effects. I'll have to dm you about that.

Have access to two keyblades. Riku KH3 new + his old one. Both same moveset but 1 has punisher form. I’m not able to see ANY of these keyblades you show cased nor do I see the keyblades from other videos as well that I see on YT. What gives?
Sounds like an incompatibility. I’m gonna need a modlist. Also, LvD is only compatible if you choose the cosmetic stuff only. Most mechanics will not work and NO anims from LvD will work correctly either.
Also, you need to unlock the other keys if you started a new game.
Should be obvious but new players might not know that. At the start of the game you only have 2 keyblades unlocked
