This is just how I feel. For 40 years, I was loved by someone that meant the world to me. I thank GOD for creating him for me. I was so very lucky. We were a knockout couple. Heads turned every time we entered a room. The memories are still clear. I had it all and I knew it ! You wouldn't think so to see me now....but, "I was loved once". You wouldn't think so to see me now, but "someone" really cared. Thanks, Dale 💙

Classic! Very soft, nostalgic and brings out a mood of dream. When I first listened to it, I was a junior secondary student. And now I've passed through the second year of my undergraduate degree. Time flies. Thanks for sharing (because it's quite difficult to find this song)

I'm so happy to rediscover Rod McQuen after 50 years. I am sorry he was so sad in his later years and was so disrespect by critiques during his life and after. They didn't recognize his brilliance and soulfulness as many of us did and do!

Thank you so much for posting. There was a time when this song meant a great deal to me, and to someone long gone...indeed, many summers ago.

I WAS INTRODUCED TO THE POETRY/SONGS OF MR. MCKUEN MANY DECADES AGO, BY A WOMAN NAMED NOLA! SHE HAD BEEN MY NURSE WHEN I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL & WE BECAME BELOVED FRIENDS! I WAS LONELY, ABUSED BY MY MOTHER & OTHERS! SHE GAVE ME REFUGE AT HER HOME! WE ARE STILL BELOVED FRIENDS, THOUGH MILES APART! SHE IS A GRANDMOTHER, AS AM I, THE YEARS SWIFTLY FLOWED BY! I AM SO GRATEFUL ,THAT SHE INTRODUCED TO A LONELY TEENAGER THE POETRY/MUSIC AND HER TIME SPENT LETTING ME KNOW, THAT I WAS NOT ALL ALONE! XXOO
