I want to make sure if what I have is magnificum. But my petiole is not square... it hacms only one straight side and the other is curve. (If you get what I mean)... but the leaf looks like your magnificum
Your plants are all so stunning 😍😍😍 Welcome down-under, I hope you enjoy your stay. I hope you are staying in the north half of the country, as we are in the beginning of spring and the weather is all over the place.
Aw thank you! I’m in Sydney at the moment and the weather is stunning! I’d love to get further north too if I can, see more of the beautiful tropical plants! 🌱🌱
I hope you do get to see some great plants while you are here, but I think you will notice that what is on offer here is pretty pitiful. Our darn quarantine laws stops us for getting any plants from anywhere overseas, and having house plants is fairly "new" and popular so plants are ridiculously expensive for what you get. I'm spoiled growing up in Sweden, every home had house plants and only now can I have my home filled with indoor plants again (thank goodness for IG 😉) I hope you really enjoy your trip and that you have a fantastic time dowunder💚
The easiest way to tell the apart is by looking at the petiole - on the magnificum it has four ridges (square) and the crystallinum is smooth! Hope that helps!
Hello there loved the video I just order an anthurium crystallinum coming in spag moss from Indonesia! Do u have any advice on hot to rehab it? Should I put it in water to help the root system recover? Or keep it in the moss until it recovers? Help 😭
Ive just watered them well, put them in a greenhouse and told my housemate to refill the humidifier and water a couple of them halfway through my trip! I’m only away for 2 weeks so they’ll all be fine - some of them I don’t normally water more than that anyway!
@@JamesArmstrongPlants Oh okay thanks for your reply! I thought maybe you had some kind of system of automatic watering with hydro spikes or something else as I'm looking for a better way of watering my plants when I'm traveling.
Love your Anthurium collection. My favourite has to be the corragatum and will definitely be looking to add one of these to my collection. Great video and thoroughly enjoyed it. 🙂🙂
I love sphagnum - it’s easy to control what nutrients you give the plants and also easy to check on the plant’s roots. I do use a chunkier aroid mix for my philodendrons once they have an established root system but to begin with I always use sphagnum 🙌🌱
@@JamesArmstrongPlants its because how leafs are shaped and the way they are growing upward . Well not an expert just wat i observed. Must say i loved ur collection and i also enjoy to see my plants growing rather buying huge specimens.
Ive just put them in the best setup I can - high humidity etc and my housemate will water them halfway through - but I’m only gone for two weeks so they’ll all be fine!
The lobes of the regale in mature form are my favorite thing about him 😍
Very nice collection
You have a good set of anthuriums. It's nice you love plants as a hobby keep it up 👍😀
How did you make sure they were okay while you were away?

Beautiful anthuriums! I can’t wait to see updates 😍

Maybe you can do a video of your greenhouse set up?
For sure I can - I’ll get on it when I’m back from holiday!
We definitely need an anthurium potting video about your potting mix!
No worries! I’m on it 💪🌱
Can you tell what the diffrence between anthurium crystallinum and anthurium magnificum? They look similar.
The easiest way to tell the apart is by looking at the petiole - on the magnificum it has four ridges (square) and the crystallinum is smooth! Hope that helps!
I love that consept to grow gorgeous plants from the more little size and younger plants. Absolute fan of those long leave anthuriums!
Me too! I love them - some of the most beautiful plants imo!
James Armstrong Absolutely - been searching and its starting to be more or less Philodendron Billietiae! Same aestethic, I think!

Hallo
Sehat selalu,sukses,salam dari indonesia
Dude, what an awesome anthurium collection!! You have yours in all moss too right? Cheers!
Hai legend of monstera
Did u grow your anthurium only on moss?
Some of them yes, most of them no - I’ll do a video on it at some point!
Wow thanks for the video James!! Are you coming to Melbourne?
I didn’t make it this time, but next time I’m over i will for sure! 🙌
Watching your videos from the future 😂
I love magnificum at the moment
Hey do you plant any of your plants in Soil?
I make mixes for all of them depending on the health of their root systems and how they would naturally grow - so a bit of everything haha 🌱🌱
Beautiful collection! Do you use plant spikes when you're gone or what do you do? I always find it hard to leave … :-)

Off to google A Regale. I hope you haven’t just added something irresistible and expensive to my wish list! 🤨

It’s such a great plant! Definitely get hold of one of you can 🙌🙌🌱
In my place called kuping gajah
Can you tell us why you grow everything in spagnum? I have a gloriousum in soil and not transferring to spagnum because that’s what’s all your are in

I'm new to the plant kingdom so don't know a lot about anthuriums but I will definitely get one!
They’re amazing! Definitely some of my favourites 😊🌱
Regala is my absolute wish!
Ahh it’s so wonderful - I’ve wanted one for such a long time! Really happy with it 🌱🌱 I hope you can find one! 🙌💪
Where did you get the seeds from?
From a (very generous 😂) friend of mine!
@@JamesArmstrongPlants That friend needs a nice bottle of wine as a thank you gift! :)
Very nice collection! Perhaps you can show your g/h?
cutest Superbum leaf I've ever seen!
I can say the names in my head but they don’t come out my mouth the same 😄🙈💕🌱.
Haha same - they get tangled up on the way out 😬😂
King anthurium seems a hybrid not the actual one
It's way too young to be able to tell that 🌱 what makes you say that from this size?

Beautiful collection!! But I wished your audio quality was better :)

For sure! When I get back 🙌💪
I hv that anthurium 😂😂😍😍
Can you do an anthurium potting vid?
Yes absolutely! I’ll do it in the next couple of weeks 😊🌱
Hey James, can you do an update on your antherium seedlings, please?
I’ll do one soon! They’re doing well for now 😍🌱
OMG who is taking care of your plants? I'm off to west coast US in April for a month and shitting bricks about who can take care of my plants.
Ive just put them in the best setup I can - high humidity etc and my housemate will water them halfway through - but I’m only gone for two weeks so they’ll all be fine!
