Ever since childhood, I have fluctuated in weight -- obesity- until my mid-teens where I explored various nutrition & exercise options to improve my quality of life as a teen. I never lost my need to battle the bulge inherited through my maternal side. Now at 55, after years of periodical cold press juice cleansing, low carb plans, tried and prefer an all plant-base nutrition regimen -- I remain not to inherit my family medical history of diabetes, high blood pressure, strokes, diet related cardiovascular issues. My mother passed at the age of 56 from a life with diabetes, clogged arteries, a pacemaker-functioning her heart to depart with a 3rd congested heart failure that led to cardiac arrest. Food can be a source of death. It was for my mother.

So, are you vegan? We do it for the animals. Correcting the health issues you mentioned is a nice bonus.
