Wondering why FPO hasn't seen the explosion of talent that we've seen on MPO side. In Europe there seem to be a number of seriously talented new golfers, but in the U.S. the ranks of actual contenders has been very thin for several years now.
James Satchwill I think it was more of a Mental thing here. The wind was constant over 15mph so I can understand the first miss and putting it on hyzer to fight the wind. She just needed to take the next putts more seriously
It looks like she changes it a lot, and if she misses a gimme, it's likely going to be 2 more. Most of the game is played between your ears and she definitely can struggle
King Hyzer bold statement to think if she made all her putts no female would have a chance. When Paige Pierce is playing at her best she is the only other player to ALWAYS have a chance.
I've heard a lot of players say when they miss a putt that's a tap in, their brain sometimes goes "Well, this round is irrelevant now" and they stop caring. Almost as a way to protect yourself from the disappointment of that moment and the overall score of your round. Maybe that's happening to her.
I have a Page Pierce First Run Undertaker. A bit overstable for me but good in the wind. I like the black Get Freaky Zone she’s throwing. Too bad Brodie had to drop out.
Ive watched FPO before and have never seen literally (besides page) the entire field over par after a round. They probably are rusty from off season and the wind. I dont think many of these players practiced at all in the off season
Not to take anything away, they are amazing players on this card, but we need more badass women! Only 1 birdie on 10?? Seems like more of them should have been able to but that hole
The international female players are at home unfortunately. We need the europeans: Kristin Tattar, Evelina Salonen and Hanna Blomroos. Pierce will be running away from her competitors. I do love watching her play though, she really put a sweet round together.
