I’m with you concerning snow - love the snow and it’s beautiful but not on the road. Take care and glad you made it safely to your destination Trucker Josh.
Even seeing some snow is a reminder of winter, and it may be that when on Thursday Eastern Time I head out for a semi-annual dental appointment there’ll be snow on the ground but hopefully not on any road. Toronto proper often is one of the last parts of Canada to get snow during a given Northern Hemisphere winter, and this winter that was in December; in some past years Toronto has gotten, as early as November, snow that has stuck to the ground for more than just melting on contact.
I love your videos, Josh. Bless you and your family and keep on truckin' ! You help keep the world turnin' with your hard work and long hours. I can relate to that.
Was on the interstate in Oregon yesterday, lightly snowing, road took a turn, someone else’s car didn’t. Thank goodness for a thicket of small trees, people getting out of wrecked car as 4 other cars had stopped to render assistance. No need to be in a hurry during bad conditions. When people fly past me, I always hope to not be involved in their accident.
Hi Josh and Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁 8:098:09 I lived in Port Huron , Michigan. If you go North on M-2, aka Gratiot Avenue on there is a Golden Coral Buffet & a Walmart. Walmart was on the edge of Fort Gratiot (on the left when you drive north). I parked my semi and ate at the Golden Coral Buffett or bought groceries at Walmart. If you go West on I-69 , there are two truck stops ( fuel, park, and / or eat). If you turn right , travel a short distance distance there is a truck stop. If you turn left , there is a Sunoco truck stop on your left ( fuel, park, & ?? Eat). Stay warm, and 8:09 stay safe …. God bless you and your family… 😀🙏🎄
Dang you had them wash the trailer too......nice. It's nice to park at the customer but not for 24+ hours. Well at least you had a clean truck for a day. If you caught a guy like that you would need bail $$ Making coffee in the truck is a pain. Stay safe
Hello from Montreal, enjoy your videos, keeeeeep them coming. Lot of respect for truckers. Had a chance to become one. My nephew owned 5 trucks, and offered me a job. As much as i respected him for offering, i had to refuse because of all the crazy drivers oñ the road. Being a salesman on the road for years, I've seen my share of crazy drivers not respecting truck drivers. Just spoke with him and he is leàving soon for miami to deliver a camper. Driving the campervan and not his truck, and making it into a vacation. Now that's a good job and getting paid for it .Take care signed Jim
Dont know if this has ever been asked but when i watch trucking vlogs i always love the guages, dials and buttons on the dash. Do you have or can you do a video showing what all the guages and dials show. Trucks have so many its like a plane ❤ thanks
Talking about the traffic reminds me of leaving the Yonkers toll heading into NYC. Time to tighten the seatbelt, straighten the seatback and get serious.
Would have been great to meet you Josh, the company I work for has two yards in Peterborough, EG Gray. Currently heading to Arizona and then onto California.
Funny, I was watching your vlog while sitting at the Loves in Capac. I hate sitting on those bridges. I start to imagine terrible things while sitting there and then I start yelling at everyone to get moving! Lol!
You picked a helluva weekend to visit Ontario. Snow squalls and lake effect snow galore. Hope your trip home took you back through the US. Hwy 11 north from Toronto to almost North Bay was a disaster for the next 3 days. Hwy 17 over towards Sault Ste.Marie was an adventure too. Maybe you got lucky and and another Ski Doo reload out of Quebec.
It could have been worse it could have been in cottage country north of Toronto which got 4' of snow around this time. Grind your own beans and drip perk or use an Aeropress. Can not get any fresher coffee than that.
You should check the fifth wheel latch everytime you look sight of your truck. Dosen't take long to pull the pin. Theirs sick people out there that would do that just for a laugh. The Blue Water Bridge will probably change its lights to red because Trump took Michigan. Sorry couldn't resist a little political poking. I used to love driving in the snow. Not heavy blizzard stuff but heavy enough to keep me on my toes. Always had my CB on also. Among all the B.S. on it you can still get a sence of what's happening around you. It's saved my butt several times. Either by just slowing down or getting off the Interstate completely or just shouting down completely. Once for sure I would have been stuck in stand still traffic for several hours. Merry Christmas to your wonderful wife, son and family. Hopefully you've been good this year and Santa brings you something special. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Thats y u always get a dash cam no matter what before u drive get a dash cam front and back one so if ppl like that does it u have video of how it happen and hopefully get a plate so they can get their licence taking for wreakless driving or public indangerment i might get 4 cams on my rig (4 wheeler not semi) just so i have all angles covered
I’ve yet to get a dash cam for any vehicle I have ever driven although maybe I will buy one before I drive again. That said, because the next vehicle that I get to drive is unlikely to be one that I own, IDK exactly how I will install that dash cam, with the last time I can recall ever having driven a vehicle having been of a sedan that I rented for a few days in May 2018 to drive to Montreal for the funeral of a relative of mine. Growing up in the 1980s and 1990s I thought that one day I would buy a vehicle, get married and have kids. So far none of those events have happened, and I am in no particular rush for any of those events to happen; indeed, I see buying a vehicle as unlikely other than if I find a job, the company offering which requires the successful candidate to supply a vehicle AND that company offers a high enough rate of pay that will allow me to easily cover expenses necessary to keep that vehicle in road-legal and in reasonably good mechanical condition.
@wainber1 all dash cams come with a lighter plug so u can put it in and remove it from any car or truck u drive in seconds so its 100% worth it so if someone hits the front of the rig at all its on video or if someone hits someone els infront of u then u got proof of what happen to help someone els to so its cheaper to get one now and have it for anytime u drive anything than wait and have someone hit something ur driving and u lose a ton of money paying their insurance because they hit u
Good message at the end, Josh. I’m Andrew. While I’m not married or a dad … I feel the same way about my parents, brother (only sibling), sister-in-law (dropped in-law long ago), niece, and nephew. I think I remember a while back in one of your videos (when you were in the country) you bought a pew pew. Am I wrong?
Hey if you don't support the independent gas stations. They will all be gone. The majors will put them out of business, and you will pay higher prices. I Know I was one.
HEY JOSH! do u know any filipino truckers? I know Qline/kelsey as well as they have super b so does KAG/westcan. Is lakay trucker going to qline yet? everybody is asking marko pinoy truckere the reason

Thats quite a nice place to stop for the night, no other trucks around and very quiet. Love the crunch of snow under your shoes.
Just watching you move thru the gears and I have no idea how to drive a truck but would love to see how the stick shift works on ol’ blue…
Stay safe out there!
Dang you had them wash the trailer too......nice.

Someone might want to go on a shopping spree until he gets home and find his winter socks
Stay safe out there, Josh. Keep it rubber side down.
That's your excuse to go out and walk 🚶♂️ stay safe and warm

Not very often Toronto traffic is ever dead. Busy area
You said Krispy Kreme. My heart melted
Nexus holders throw on their four ways sometimes when it’s busy so people don’t think they’re cutting the line.
Dont know if this has ever been asked but when i watch trucking vlogs i always love the guages, dials and buttons on the dash. Do you have or can you do a video showing what all the guages and dials show. Trucks have so many its like a plane ❤ thanks
I wish i could have some snow. But alas it never snows in Houston and when it does once a decade the entire state shuts down lol
Wash truck equals snow storm. Stay safe
Talking about the traffic reminds me of leaving the Yonkers toll heading into NYC. Time to tighten the seatbelt, straighten the seatback and get serious.
Josh you ripped us off.😮 I was hoping to see you drive through Gary and Chicago, dude you disappointed me 😢. Or wasn't the footage family friendly.😂
Family friendly hahaha probably ?
Would have been great to meet you Josh, the company I work for has two yards in Peterborough, EG Gray. Currently heading to Arizona and then onto California.
Another longer drive, be safe out there
Funny, I was watching your vlog while sitting at the Loves in Capac. I hate sitting on those bridges. I start to imagine terrible things while sitting there and then I start yelling at everyone to get moving! Lol!

Wait you have kingpin lock I'm sure, for if you need to bobtail somewhere?
Peterborough Ontario welcomes You
Cars going over the bridge to Sarnia put on their hazard lights when going through the NEXUS lane. Why? Dunno
Your little rants reminds me of the Rick Mercer's ones he used to do in his show
I loved that show
i live in peterborough, you should be thankfull you missed the freezing rain we got , ...no sidewalks that far out chemong rd. sorry
Where do you go to the bathroom when parked for 36 hours not a truck stop?
It could have been worse it could have been in cottage country north of Toronto which got 4' of snow around this time. Grind your own beans and drip perk or use an Aeropress. Can not get any fresher coffee than that.
The bad part is all the people they don’t know how to drive in it
Tug tests are necessary as other drivers are not beyond pulling your pin.
Howdy Josh!
where u get those bulbs for the lights in ur sleepre i want them
Hi Josh luv you videos. Just want to let you know the I no “S” in Peterborough. How was you donut treat? Have a wonderful Christmas.😂
My mistake 😬
That’s where the first place you should take your son when he gets old enough and FSA the ID truckstop if you want to turn him into a trucker
Its amazing how becoming a parent changes you aye? Just off to the beach here in NZ :)
Yeah it's a wild ride!

Hey Josh, I don't know if I missed it or not. But I've never seen Brit's tattoo. Yours is great.
Send the snow to norway⛄️ We are missing it🫣
your rear tandems are really up towards the middle. How long is your trailer?
It's 53 feet
Trucker Josh🎶
cold weather gear is important brother
Stay safe bro. 🤘😎
How many miles did you run yesterday, 200
My guess is you’ll find parking around the London flying J
Guys in large pick ups with the big wheels are idiots. 4 wheel drive doesn’t let you stop better
Right idiots to pay twice as much in gas just to say look at me. SMH !!!
Your probably in Woodstock
Forshame! You past right by my home and you didn't even wave hello😂😂😂😂😂
Whats going on with the inverter installation?
I'm waiting on a few parts and the time to install the rest of it. Hopefully this Christmas season
Remember, big jacked up trucks are overcompensating for what they lack.
Lol or just a guy who likes trucks 🤷😆
❤

I’ve seen you make coffee ☕️ at home. It doesn’t taste the same at home???
Nope!
I enjoy the convenience of making coffee at home. I don’t have to get dressed to go out in the cold 🥶 it’s right there in just a few minutes.
Coffee is Coffee does it matter where it comes from that's my opinion
"It will do" is subjective. Did it pass the Josh test or not?😊

Welcome to the GTA brother. Worst drivers in Ontario. I avoid it at all costs
Serious Question: Does your truck have a toilet in it ?
Hey Josh, did you put the convertor in your truck yet?
