No wonder Serral is so hardcore, growing up in Texas where wielding screwdrivers is legal.

The fighting over those neighboring bases in the end game was so fun to watch. Dynasty seems like a really cool map. Crossing my fingers it doesn't just get vetoed every time, since that looked really hard to play for both sides.

Toss is a joke vs Zerg. Units are three times more expensive but die 10 times faster

In Texas you have to watch out because our screwdrivers shoot bullets.

I believe that Texas and Florida you are allowed to defend your property. The definitions of that are pretty loose as I understand it.

6:19 Ackshually ... in many (maybe even most) jurisdictions, premeditated murder is punished more harshly than impulsive murder. Whether that makes sense or not is debatable, but I think most people who think about it for a more than a few minutes will come to the conclusion that it depends on the situation.
9:48 Also, yes, Texas is like most jurisdictions in the USA and allows you to use lethal force on strangers that enter your home uninvited. Many other countries have similar laws, and I believe Australia is one of them, though the Aussies require that you only use screwdrivers that just happened to be at hand (eg, if you were interrupted while replacing your GPU) or brought by the intruder. Otherwise, you prepared a weapon ahead of time for the express purpose of homicide, and sticking it in the eye of the guy who busted down your door while waving a gun and bellowing death threats makes you an evil, evil murderer.
I'm certainly not going to argue that American criminal law isn't massively stupid, but no other country seems to have done much better. Mentioning the topic of crime and punishment appears to be a fantastic way of putting human reason into "suspend" mode, regardless of race, creed, culture, political party, level of education, or IQ.
And in case you were wondering, this message comes courtesy of my love of pedantry and the USA's long-standing love of procedural TV shows and loudly (and stupidly) debating how to correct our corrections system and weapons laws.

@@davidas5049well traps are different in America as well. You will be charged if you set traps, because traps are indiscriminatory and could hit innocents, but if you shot the same person with a gun, that would be allowed.

You are always allowed to protect yourself, even in Germany. What can get you legally is use of disproportionate force (e.g. kid going into your house unarmed and you shoot it) or shooting someone in the back (trying to kill someone who is already running). Now that stand your ground law, as i understand it, is BS to be quite honest. Because it allows you to basically murderize people if you *feel* threatend, even if there was no objective thread in the first place. "Best" newsarticle i read regarding this law, was two people getting into an argument, both *feel* threatened, pull out guns and start shooting. A little girl who was at the wrong place at the wrong time got hit and killed by a stray bullet. Neither of the two lowlifes got punished, because they *both* claimed that they were in their right according to the "stand your ground law". Wouldnt be surprised if murderrates with the passing of that law took a dive, because killings that would have been a crime before are now legal.
